But what was Austin's gimmick? He stole from Sandman because both drank beer? So, you're saying any wrestler that drank beer in the ring copied Sandman?

Austin was a redneck, typical redneck drinks beer. It's 1 in the same.

Sandman was far from a redneck and was actually just some chain smoking alcoholic who often got his ass whooped. The beer is the only thing even remotely the same about either man.
