Re: Comics and Graphic Novels Vol. 2

Just read Batman 13. Genuinely creepy. Snyder, Jock and Capullo fricking nailed it. It builds on the previous joker stories, killing joke, man who laughs, death in the family, but it is very different. Somehow, it does stand out as a horror story

Uncanny Avengers was crap and pure revisionist history and avenger propaganda. Charles Xavier is a bastard, Wolverine should get super cancer from that disease guy in X force, and Havok is dumb and irrelevant. I only bought it for the scotty young variant. Also John Cassady has declined MASSIVELY since his astonishing days. I blame the choice of colorists. The guy they got for astonishing was perfect. How dare they all judge Scott for what he did. Scott will go down in history as the champion of the mutant race.

How dare Wolverine threaten to kill scott and then say thats wrong. You kill people all the time you sick bastard. You killed your own kids. Now its suddenly wrong? Either way, Dark Scott shoulda torched you when he had the chance

Infact, just for him I bought Uncanny X Men #19, "The passion of Scott Summers", because Scott truly is a christ figure.

Legends of the dark knight was good fun

Green Lantern Corps #0 was great

As for Superior Spider-man, its a stupid title, I dont mind dark as long as Peter keeps making jokes, and its still peter under that mask. Im also trying to figure out how the hell rags morales can draw a 'dark' book

Peter Parker isnt spider-man anymore? Fuck off. Who the hell is under that mask? Uncle ben?
