Excellent thread, Segunda. Good to see this is more active than the last attempt. I'm not big on WOS (the rounds system is a major turn-off for me) but I think it's something every wrestling fan should try and experience once.

Gilbert Cestra vs Billy Cantazarro (1960s)

Amazing. Some of the stuff I saw in this match blew me away and I really wonder how the crowd would reacted back then. These fuckers pulled of hurricanranas, monkey flips, powerbombs and I think even saw a Kawada Driver. One of the things I love about old-school wrestling is that how they make every hold feel like an epic struggle. This match has some of the best examples of that. They are never in one hold too long so it never gets boring and some of the escapes they do to get out of the holds are fucking amazing and make Johnny Saint look like an amateur. The uppercut trading spots was equally as awesome and it's once again a great example of this spot. One moment saw them leaning on one another after a rather brutal exchange that felt right out of a Danielson ROH epic but 40 years earlier.
