Re: Will Orton win a world title (WWE or WHC) again?
Regardless of what people on here believe Randy Orton is still the second biggest star working a full time schedule in WWE and is known to be loved by Vince McMahon whilst having a great look, being totally believable as top guy on screen, great in ring skills and is believable in beating absolutely anyone cleanly so i'm sure at some point we will see Randy Orton as WWE/World champion again. That being said though it isn't something that needs to happen as he is cemented in a very top position within the wrestling industry and at 32 years old has another decade at the top barring injury so at this point in time would be better served helping get others to a similar position.
John Cena needs to be made to look strong because he is the only draw that company has and makes WWE more money on his own than almost the whole roster combined whereas Randy Orton is booked as an equal on screen but off screen is light years behind therefore him being the one to help make others stars is always the better choice. People like Wade Barrett, Bryan Danielson, Dolph Ziggler, Antonio Cesaro and Cody Rhodes would all benefit from a winning feud against Randy Orton and i think that is how Randy Orton and Rey Mysterio should both be used for the next year and also Chris Jericho if he returns to get young babyfaces over because WWE needs more star power.
It is allo good having Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Kassius Ohno, Richie Steamboat, the Rotunda brothers, Big E Langston and The Ascension all coming through but it's the people currently on the roster that need to become stars first. The people with star power like Triple H, Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio, The Big Show and Kane should all be used as talent enhancement for at least a year in my opinion to elevate the likes of Wade Barrett, Bryan Danielson, Dolph Ziggler, Antonio Cesaro and Cody Rhodes to the main event scene whilst the aforementioned names from FCW/NXT work the mid card scene and get built up themselves.
