Well, it's all or nothing IMO. Murder is murder. So if they erase Benoit because it's "wrong to promote him" (although in reality it's because Vince holds grudges and they don't want to remind anyone of the tragedy), it only makes sense to do the same for Snuka, who may have never done time for it but still remains the only suspect in the open case.
