I agree, the Italy setting was amazing, and I was initally quite negative on the American Revolution as the setting, and to be honest, I'm still not happy that that's what they chose over something I would've personally liked more, but they're putting a lot of effort into this game and it looks really great, so I can deal with it.

AC 1 and Revelations had settings I didn't care for, but those were both middle eastern. To me, that's not a very gripping setting for a game with the style and feel of Assassin's Creed, this makes more sense although again it's not my choice. If I had it my way, I would've either done Medieval England as my 1'st choice, Victorian England as my 2'nd, or as a 3'rd choice the French Revolution. Maybe this one as the 4'th because I don't know what else you'd do, besides Italy, which was amazing but it had been done great, twice, and a change keeps things fresher, and Nazi Germany which I absolutely would not have wanted.
