You're calling the dude that was practically born in jail to a black panther mom and lived the majority of his life in poverty a wannabe while not making such a statement for a guy like Biggie. Who came from a middle class family and went to private school as a kid.

What makes him different to any of those other rappers? Exactly what subject matter in his songs was different from the 20 Biggie songs about sellings drugs and being kingpin Frank White or the same subject from Raekwon?

So much ignorance.
Pac was NEVER a Gangsta, but it was a common thing in Deathrow that the rappers who weren't in gangs were portrayed as gangsta rappers, Dr Dre is a prime example

before Rapping , 2Pac went to the Baltimore school of art and took jaz, ballet, and Poetry (i'm not saying that's a bad thing)

he didn't even rapping about the gangsta life until he joined Deathrow, all his lyrics were about loving his mother and all that until Suge signed him , that's when 2Pac suddenly became hardcore and started sportin' the Red threads and caps

and that's mainly because in the 90's Gangsta rap was the flavour, and people loved it, so he changed his image to that direction

so he's no gangsta, and that's not something to be shamed of, the guy was a deep, wise person , and truly one of the greatest lyricals of all time
