Orton has no charisma. That has nothing to do with this. There's a difference between having charisma (which Sheamus does have, albeit not as much as his fans seem to think) and taking things seriously.
It is absolutely, utterly, completely NOT good to have a babyface who takes nothing seriously. It buries and destroys the heat of the feud he's in. Nobody can get invested in a program when he's completely no selling EVERYTHING his opponent says and does to him. It's his job to take his opponent seriously because that creates tension, when there's tension, people will be invested in the feud and it will draw. If people don't believe Sheamus's opponents are threats to him, because he blows them off and laughs at them like an idiot, where is the intrigue? Who's gonna pay to see that? It's not going to happen.
