To be perfectly honest, there isn't much in the world I give less of a shit about. It's fine I guess...
It doesn't add or take away anything to/from him, it's just a pose he does before he comes out. Perhaps he'll get it to catch on and we'll see people in the crowd doing it like Orton's, I doubt it though.
There are a ton of boring characters in the WWE like Orton, Cena, Swagger, Barrett etc. Cesaro can actually put on a great match with nearly anyone, and so a solid character would work well for him. I could care less about his shoulder shrug thing, and I can't understand why it's a thread. Antonio needs Ohno, and the Tag Team division needs a revival.
I agree it's quite awesome that you can actually hear the fans respond to that move. I also think the camera work on Cesaro's flying European Uppercut wasn't really shown completely. What a spot that was. Just shows how great of a wrestler this man is. Got to love how Jim Ross puts him over as well. For those that say Antonio has no charisma look at the face he makes as he puts Brodus down in under two minutes. It takes amazing strength to pull that move off as you don't get much help from the other guy going up. They aren't kidding when they say Antonio is stronger than he looks. He has the strength of a 300 lb man.
Cesaro is just currently suffering the Daniel Bryan syndrome. He has all the talent in the world, but to be full realized in WWE, they're just trying to land the perfect gimmick for him. Just give it a bit more time, and who knows, he might be the next big World title contender.
at first i thought cesaro was just the ultimate average-joe wrestler but lately i think he's pretty good, atleast after his awesome strength against brodus
I thought it was silly the first couple times I saw it, but his shoudlers are ripped as fuck, and tbh, the shoulder thing is growing on me. Cesaro probably won't be a main eventer (unless he has hidden mic talent), but I think he will be around for awhile as a mid carder (and I don't mean that as an insult).
If I'm being totally honest, and I probably am, I think I'd rather he do a Nazi salute when he comes to the ring. But given the fact that I haven't even thought about it until this thread I can't imagine me giving a fuck what he does in his entrance if it's not a Nazi salute.
I hardly think doing a "Nazi" salute makes any sense at all. I would think people would find it insulting, and that's a line I feel need not be crossed. Don't get me wrong, I am all for controversy, but that just makes no sense. It would ruin his career, and he probably isn't very fond of The Nazi regime in any way (like most of us).
Claudio is amazing. He should be in Del Rio position, except also winning the World Heavyweight Championship. Has charisma and everything that a superstar needs. His theme is bad ass. One of the best in WWE.
I don't see how a Nazi salute would insult people. WWE is filled with stereotypes, from black people with burglar gimmicks (Cryme Time), to indian people dressed like talibans(Hassan, Mahal), to even black people adopting a 'African Nomad' gimmick (Kamala). There's so much more..
But like Hit Girl said, it really is a silly subject, it's not like he does something mind boggling.
