The Aces & 8s bullshit ruined his reign. It overshadowed what was a great moment, in Aries becoming Champion, and meant what could have given TNA momentum actually ended up killing off the hottest property they have. The number one storyline after he won the belt should have been HIM and instead he was in a gang, fighting Aces & 8s and didn't stand out at all. Plus there's the fact he's had one title defence. At least he's got a big match at BFG, although I'd much rather it wasn't against Jeff Hardy.
