Ability to absorb punishment

This is a term that I´ve always remembered fondly from the PWI magazine. Each year, the mag would feature the stat o chart, a very interesting lineup of the 20 best wrestlers of the year.

The wrestlers´ability to absorb punishment interested me very much. It was measured 1.0 - 10. I´d like to ask this forum to tell me what they think the different numbers mean.

I could get us started off by explaining what 10 means to me.

10: The wrestler will use his neck muscles to absorb blows to the head, keeping his body tense enough not to sustain the physical impact. Body shots will make him stumble back a step or two. Very hard shots to the side of his face will make him spin around, using his body to lessen the impact, or fall, if they are arial moves.

If he is knocked over the top rope with a clothesline or dropkick, he will land on his feet and stumble slightly, or stagger to one side to maintain his balance.

Now, how would you say at 9.5, what the wrestler does absorb punishment?
