is this what happened to the Wii too. I just dont see the appeal in the Wii U. i got a Wii just for SSBB and that was it. Im def not gonna get a Wii U for whatever Smash Bros game comes out. I heard gamestop had a deal where you can trade in your PS3 or 360 and get like 150 to buy a Wii U. Why wouldnt they just make it trade your Wii to get a Wii U instead of the other consoles.
