Default Re: i$e's Magical Music Megapost

I should point out that a large portion of my WCOLT love comes from seeing them before hearing them, and then again this year after playing their last EP to death. Phenomenal live band. Album lives up to everything I wanted from it, so I'm almost certainly going to love it more than anything else this year. No objectivity.

Daitro, Raein, Orchid, Saetia, Sed Non as i$e said, they were the bands that really got me into the genre. I think it helped that I had a grounding with bands like Hoover, Antioch Arrow, Indian Summer, Heroin, Rites Of Spring, etc. There are some people it'll never ever click for, but if you liked WCOLT then it'll be something you'd be able to get into.

Also, if anyone's into the Envy/SNS post rock-vibe screamo, its worth downloading the Et Tu Brute demo. Such an underrated band.
