I agree. But he was trying to justify his behaviour by stating that it's okay because if I'm out of line my wife can slap me.

I'm saying that a woman physically is generally not able to instil any real kind of fear in a man, in most cases.

I've been slapped by a girl before and I didn't like it, but I wouldn't do the same as I'm physically capable of doing real damage, been brought up never to lay hands on a woman and wouldn't want my s.o to walk on eggshells around me in fear of being hurt.
