Quote:
~ Reports coming from sources close to WGPX have recently surfaced, stating that the company plans to do a massive overhaul on it's current roster to, as one reporter called it "trim the fat," so to speak. This can only mean that certain workers will either be delegated back to the Ring of Honor developmental territory, or [the more likely of scenarios] certain competitors will be cut from their contracts. Of the more notable names on this list, SAMOA JOE and KURT ANGLE are indeed reaching the conclusion of their contracts with Wrestling Grand Prix.

~ In correlation with these reports, rumors have surfaced that Grand Prix talent scouts have been in discussion with former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion, QUINTON 'RAMPAGE' JACKSON, which could possibly be the true motive for the company trimming down on it's payroll.

~ TIM DONST has apparently recovered from the elbow injury he suffered two months ago after a very successful surgery. WGPX has relegated him to a two-week stint in ROH before officially returning him back to the main level of competition.

~ As we reported yesterday, HIROSHI TANAHASHI will be facing CHRIS JERICHO in a highly anticipated main event, but earlier today, we received word from CEO BOB BACKLUND himself that another huge match has been planned for this weekend's edition of Grand Prix TV, as we look forward to seeing the teams of AKIRA TOZAWA & MI RAI competing against CODY RHODES & BAD INTENTIONS in a Grand Prix Trios Match. Can this Saturday get any better!?

~ The results for the 2011 Grand Prix Awards are to be announced next Sunday on January 29th through the promotion's website, Grandprix.com. Up for grabs are the most valuable prizes in the company, including 'Most Valuable Wrestler' and 'Champion of the Year.'
