Absolutely hillarious from Daniel Bryan and Kane. Also who can forget Harold, what an absolute legend. Reminded me of the old WWF comedy spots, but I have to admitt this was great comedy. I really hope this continues, because I am really enjoying it at the moment.
Kane when he went into a massive story about how his parents got burned, buried Undertaker, had loads of relationships, kidnapped people... had me in stitches.
Good work WWE, produced your best comedy in years.:cool2
Kane was freaking hilarious. I absolutely loved that segment and if it were me, it would probably take a gazillion takes before that thing was shot because I would burst out laughing everytime. Too funny
i guess it was more of a funny moment than the whole segment, but it was funny to me. the rock concert was great except when they got too ambitious and tried to end it with a sing-along "we will rock you" at the end. i think cuz it ended with a dud it tainted the whole segment even though the rest was gold. i remember reading on rajah the guy who reviews raw slammed it saying it was unfunny. that shit was funny.
This storyline has been muddled and slightly confusing for the past few months, but that segment was just gold (and I'm not just saying that as a Bryan mark). Kane telling his backstory was fucking priceless!!
It's nice to see WWE do more of that behind the scene, back stage stuff. We'd see so much of that stuff back in the attitude era. That was one of the reasons I loved the hardcore title and the shit with the APA.
when the guy leading the class told his song "it's ok, this man is sick" you could hear the whole crowd laugh. kane was the big pay off for sure. i don't get how anyone could get on bryan if they didn't like the segment. he doesn't write the sketches. i think i've only seen him in one mediocre match ever and no bad segments ever not counting nxt. although, i only started watching him shortly before he won money in the bank.
Kane was funny, but I dunno man, I wasn't feeling this. Too much 'non wrestling' for me. Daniel Bryant I think is one of those WRESTLERS they're trying to make into a SuperStar, and it's not going to work. He's bland with the mic and looks like he's trying to figure out an algebra equation in his head when he's holding one. Before the whole "NO NO NO" 'anger management' thing, he often would just revert to screaming because he knows he isn't gifted with a mic. I thought WWE would be smart enough to keep him as the WRESTLER he started off being promoted as, which got him to the top. But in typical WWE fashion, they just had to sprinkle some drama in their, and I personally don't like it. Kane too, which is basically a carbon copy of the Undertaker, and I don't remember seeing the Undertaker in anger management ... just kicking butt and taking names like his character and personality dictates he should ... they played to his strengths and the rest is history. It's just my 2 cents, but I think this 'anger management' stuff would have been much better served on the 'bottom dwellers' of the WWE roster, and not wasted on 2 of their top WRESTLING talents.
They're getting close, the WWE. But in my opinion, they still just don't seem to "get it".
what? Kurt Angle used to do segments like these and that only made his character better and more entertaining to watch. Bryan reminds me of him more every week. Kane has never been an 'Undertaker', if you want Kane to stop doing these small comedic skits, you're the one who's ruining his character. He's always been popular for doing these little comedy skits, and thats part of his gimmick, he's not Undertaker. And didn't you see enough of 'serious' Kane in his feud with Cena and Orton? Also, what do you mean 'wasted' on 2 of their top wrestling talents? These segments are only helping these talents get 'over' and for the first time in a long time Kane seems to become interesting to the crowd again.
Its not like these segments are preventing them from wrestling, why the hell would they? Bryan still had a match with R-Truth on Raw. If not for these segments, and only the match, you would all feel Bryan has been buried by someone as low as R-Truth, but the segments show WWE still cares and knows he is a big talent. We need more of these segments, specially if they replace the 'touts' and 'replays'.
When I read about them in the results I thought it'd be terrible. WWE definitely proved me wrong there as they were great and I really enjoyed them. I just hope WWE keeps the quality up and stops it before it gets boring and annoying.
These segments stand out in part because WWE has seemingly forgotten how to write segments like this. It wasn't anything I'll be watching over again in 10 years, but it was well done and Bryan and Kane played their parts to perfection. Good job, WWE.
Look at the monster, look at the demon in my signature. You will never, ever, see that heel again if they keep this bullshit up. They crush Kane as a monster heel to turn him into something he was opposed to during his return feuds.
I'm loving the anger management angle. Funniest shit I've seen on WWE in years. The ridiculously stupid storylines that Kane has been involved in have finally yielded results! Kane was hilarious. Bryan was great too.
I actually thought these segments were just going to be some sort of plug for Charlie Sheens new show, especially after he was on Raw 1000. But man once they started I was actually laughing, Daniel Bryan was great but when Kane went on about his past he was hilarious!!
