I agree.

In 1986-87, when Piper turned face after his feud with Adrian Adonis, he was arguably more popular than Hulk Hogan. That's quite an accomplishment, since Hogan was at his peak, beginning his feud with Andre the Giant. Piper was supposed to "retire" after Wrestlemania 3, to concentrate on movies and TV. If he had never came back, he would have been considered one of the all time greats.
