Re: Aces & Eights Discussion Thread

Jeff Jarrett being the leader would make sense, given that he's been pushed out of his own creation AND the Hall of Fame snub in favor of Sting, but it would also be a bit of a disappointment because we've seen that already. The faction led by Jeff Jarrett. Yeah, that's called TNA 2006.

I'd rather the guy behind it all be someone we don't expect BUT with a logical motivation & reasoning behind it all. What if they FINALLY resolve the Samoa Joe/Ninja Storyline and say that say that Joe has been in TNA biding his time and waiting for the right time to finally strike while this group finds the perfect members to take control of TNA. Or what if the leader of the group is actually Desmond Wolfe, a talent in TNA who had a lot of promise and had his career cut short in the company and now he's taking his revenge by putting together this group of thugs to take down those that ruined his career and stole the spot that should have been his. Or maybe its Matt Morgan, one of the young prospects in TNA who got put on the shelf and has been left at home while the BFG Series is going on.

It is sort of like the "Who Ran Over Austin Storyline". To me, it was a huge disappointment that they just said "Oh Triple H was behind it all along". Yeah it made sense, but HHH was already the top heel for most of the year and that reveal wasn't really much of a shock. Now Rikishi doing it on his own as a way to ensure a Samoan Brethren would take Austin's spot as a race war type of deal, THAT was interesting. I could sink my teeth into that.
