Homage also means showing signs of influence, you know..unless you've been hiding under a rock for a long long time. Zeppelin along with the Stones always showed massive signs of influence of the blues.
You do know there has been many cases of those law suits that you, yourself refer to? Lawsuits will never EVER take away from the legacy of any music.
The biggest farce ever though was how the Stones have full credit for "Bitter Sweet Symphony" A small loop of their song was only used on it for the song and could barley be heard...such bullshit. I feel for Ashcroft.
