It's called not being humiliated to the extent that some people claim and not refusing the likely large amount of money Vince threw at him.

Either that or, as I said, it was a work that backfired. I'm not saying Bret was wrong in going back, but it's funny how his and HBK's version of the screwjob have drastically changed since 1997. Was Bret really that humiliated? I mean, did the screwjob really negatively affect his career?
