As soon as The Road Warriors arrived in WWE in mid 1990 they were booked very strongly and i loved their feuds through the first two years of their WWE careers against Demolition, The Nasty Boys and The Natural Disasters but as soon as they dropped the titles that was basically it.

When they went back to WCW in 1996 and WWE again in 1997 they were booked horribly and were basically an afterthought and a far cry from a team regarded by many as the greatest and most popular of all time. It's easy to say Rocco the dummy, adding Droz or Heidenreich, being repackaged and having Sunny as manager, The New Age Outlaws shaving Hawk's mohawk or worst of all exploiting Hawk's alcoholism are all major disgraces to their legacy but the thing is they all happened in WWE and outside of WWE they were booked brilliantly and are one of very few tag teams who were a HUGE draw and could have a company built around them.
I agree with this post. The Road Warriors were ruined by the WWE almost as bad as they ruined Vader.
