Re: Shit on Lebron James, the choker!
The NBA is trying to rebuild the Heat by putting them over the sympathetic old men in the Celtics, but their credibility is still shot from what happened last year. The Mavericks had nothing to gain from going over but Stern put them over anyway in what was a piss poor booking move. It worked in the short term but the Mavericks in the following months flamed out and it ended up being a waste. Personally, I feel that they should have just had the Heat squash the Pacers. It might not have pleased the viewers but having the Pacers put up a fight showed a chink in the armor of the Heat and the Heat, especially after what happened last year, shouldn't have been booked that way.
Stern's handling of the top heel in his promotion is piss poor. They should have a year of dominance and then have the showdown between the Thunder and Heat next year in one of the biggest finals of all time in terms of build up. Stern should take notes from how Selig booked his promotion last year. The go home games were fantastic which led to increased interest in the biggest show of the year, which ended up being one of the best of all time. The comeback the Cardinals had was fantastic and they still sold the entire way through. So many false finishes until the Cardinals finally pulled it off. Was *****.
