Re: WWE: The TwoThousandAndEleven Diaries

Monday Night Raw (July 25, 2011)

Raw opens with Cena in the ring, reminding everyone that last week he invoked his rematch clause for Summerslam and he will be facing Punk in a Last Man Standing match. He talks up the match and Jerry Lawler comes out and says that tonight, Cena will get a shot at The SES as in the main event he will go one on one against United States Champion Mason Ryan!

Match One: Kharma defeats Kelly Kelly in a squash match and afterwards Natalya runs out and gets into the ring opposite the Women’s Champion and the two stare down before shoving each other and Natalya actually manages to push Kharma out of the ring before they stare at each other some more.

John Morrison comes down to the ring and says he heard what R-Truth said last week and that he is willing to put his Money In The Bank briefcase on the line for a one-on-one match against Truth at Summerslam. He says that Truth will finally get what he deserves for injuring him months ago.

Match Two: John Morrison defeats Tyler Reks in another squash after Starship Pain. After the match R-Truth runs out and attacks Morrison with the Shut Up, before shouting at his fallen body and saying that the briefcase will be his.

We go backstage to The Straight Edge Society and Punk has a special message for John Cena. He says that The SES is dominating Raw and thanks to them Kofi Kingston won’t be seen around for a while. He says that at Summerslam the same thing will happen to Cena- he will be defeated and will never show his sorry face on Monday Night Raw again.

Match Three: Zack Ryder defeats Dolph Ziggler after a good match with a rollup and as he celebrates after the match The Miz runs out and starts double teaming him with Ziggler as Vickie Guerrero urges them on, until Jack Swagger runs out for the save and clears the heels from the ring before tending to Ryder.

We go to the ring where Finlay walks out with Drew McIntyre and Paul Burchill. He introduces the tandem as The Isles of Power and says that they will be dominating the tag division on Raw and for other teams to take note.

Match Four: The Isles of Power defeats Milan 2 Moscow after McIntyre pinned Santino following the Future Shock DDT. The heels beat up Kozlov and Santino after the match with Finlay joining in but then The Colons run out and clear them from the ring. Carlito and Primo point at the heels saying that they want revenge and they have words with each other.

We go backstage to where The Miz is talking to Dolph Ziggler and Vickie Guerrero. They agree that Zack Ryder and Jack Swagger are pests on Raw and they’re going to have to be taken care of if either of them wants title shots. Miz extends his hand to Ziggler who looks at Vickie but walks off instead of sealing the partnership with a handshake.

Main Event: John Cena defeats Mason Ryan after the Attitude Adjustment. After the match The SES attack Cena in a four-on-one assault and Rey Mysterio and Evan Bourne try to make a save but succumb to the numbers game as well. The show ends with Punk and The SES standing tall.
