Re: WWE: A Strong Response
>Batista’s Rematch Set for Night of Champions!<
Last night live on Raw, Batista wasted no time in declaring his intention to take back the WWE Championship he lost at Survivor Series, letting Triple H know in no uncertain terms that he’ll be taking full advantage of his rematch clause at Night of Champions in five weeks.
The Animal was clearly still seething at losing the title to Triple H in the triple threat championship match just over a week ago, putting it down to The Game’s use of his trusty sledgehammer. It looked like we were going to see them collide for the title last night until Eric Bischoff intervened and made sure it didn’t happen until Night of Champions. He did however promise the Japanese fans that they would see the two former Evolution team-mates go head-to-head later on in the main event where Batista teamed up with The Undertaker to take on the WWE Champion & The Miz.
Batista let everyone know, especially The Game that he’s hell bent on taking the title back and he’s not to be underestimated, winning the match for himself & The Dead-Man after The Miz fell victim to the deadly Batista Bomb. The Animal’s intensity definitely unsettled Triple H as he could only look on from the outside with the Japanese crowd cheering Batista. Will the crowd in Cleveland at Night of Champions be cheering Batista after being announced as the winner too and as the new WWE Champion? As things stand right now, Batista is looking as good as he ever has, and maybe it’ll be a brief title reign for The King of Kings.
