The BTB Advertisement Thread

The last thread was beginning to clutter and had lost some semblance to actual advertisements. This is a revised version of the BTB Advertisement thread.

Basically, this is the BTB Advertisement thread. Pretty self-explanatory, right? Wrong, here are the rules. Be warned - lack of adherence to the rules will result in a warning. If you keep it up, you will be given an infraction.

The BTB Advertisement thread allows you to post previews of your upcoming shows and PPVs and generate hype for an upcoming thread. In order to give prospective readers an incentive to view your thread, you can even post small samples of the advertised work in question, though these will be relegated to one paragraph.

If you wish, you can provide links to your threads following your advertisements.

Since the last thread was abused to some extent, I'm laying down some additional rules in order to keep this thread tidy.

1) ONE advert per every three days. We will check this thread every day to see if anyone is abusing the system and spamming the thread.
2) NO news, notes, or anything of that sort pertaining to your thread are allowed. We were lenient before in the last thread, but such posts belong in your thread. The BTB Advertisement thread is not your personal network - it is shared, and thus, only actual advertisements for shows are allowed.

Last, but not least; do NOT beg for reviews when you advertise. In jest, you can market your thread and mention reviews, but there is to be no fishing for 'em. It just reeks of desperation.

Thank you.

WWE Monday Night Raw Preview-25/7/05

Tonight is all set to be a huge night for the superstars of Monday Night Raw as last week saw the shocking return of the World Heavyweight Champion, Batista! The Animal returned to save the World’s Largest Athlete, Big Show who was in a whole world of trouble following his match with Mark Jindrak as the demonic Kane assaulted the former World Champion before placing a steel chair around the leg of the giant. In a moment of horror for all the fans in attendance, as well as those watching at home, Shawn Michaels, per order of Eric Bischoff, then scaled to the top rope and looked set to come crashing down on to the steel, crushing Show‘s leg in the process. That was when the champion returned however, several weeks ahead of schedule following a severe rib injury sustained at the hands of the Big Red Machine. Batista though would NOT get his hands on Kane, who managed to escape his advances thanks to the wily Eric Bischoff. Instead Batista sent a stern message to Raw’s General Manager as he delivered a devastating BatistaBomb to Bischoff’s ‘Personal Employee’, Shawn Michaels. We have been promised to hear from the World Champion tonight on all things relevant, including his title match at Summerslam with Kane, his dealings with Eric Bischoff, how his injury is healing as well as just why he targeted Shawn Michaels last week. You won’t want to miss it!

Also confirmed for tonight is a monster and believe me, it is a MONSTER main event. The number one contender to the World title, Kane will take on the man he savagely assaulted last week and almost ended his career, Big Show. These two have a history together and tonight will no doubt further that as the World’s Largest Athlete will look to gain a measure of payback on what went down last week. How will Kane deal with an angry giant? What will Show look to put the Big Red Machine through? Tune in to find out.

Another two matches are confirmed for tonight’s show, the first of which has huge implications concerning the Intercontiental Championship. Shelton Benjamin has been robbed time and again of the gold by Muhammad Hassan and his Arabian Entity, with Benjamin pleading for one more, fair opportunity. Charlie Haas meanwhile, Benjamin’s tag team partner has been focusing on the World Tag Team titles, telling Shelton that they should simply focus on being a team again. Benjamin has refused however, stating that they can become a team again when he wins back his Intercontiental title, something that hasn’t sat all that well with Haas. Tonight though, despite knowing his partner wants him to move away from singles action, Benjamin has placed all his trust in Charlie Haas to earn him one more shot, one more opportunity at his beloved Intercontinental title in what is all part of a devious plan by the champion Muhammad Hassan.

Hassan, knowing full well of Haas’ reluctance to see Shelton chasing him, laid down the challenge for tonight. Hassan will take on Charlie Haas with the stipulation being, if Haas wins, Benjamin gets his title shot. But if Hassan wins, Benjamin will never receive another title shot whilst Hassan holds the gold. Who will come out on top in this delicate situation? Will Charlie Haas really give it his all to see his partner succeed? It promises to be explosive.

The third and final confirmed match for here tonight on Raw is the second part in a three week series of Tag Team title defences. Last week saw the Dudley Boyz defeat the Basham Brothers in a griping contest. Tonight the Dudleyz defend their gold again, this time against the young up and comers, Ken Doane and Nick Nemeth, the Platform to Perfection. Will the undefeated youngsters shock the world and become champions or will the Dudleyz experience shine through? It’s the present versus the future, tonight!

Also, tonight we have been promised a ’Special’ video from Captain Charisma, Christian regarding his Summerslam opponent, Ric Flair. What has the weaselly leader of ‘Peeps’ got up his sleeve? Plus, Chris Jericho will NOT be on Raw this week due to the devastating ambush by his rival Edge last week, how will the Rated R Superstar react to taking out his long term rival? Find out all this and more, LIVE on Monday Night Raw.

Confirmed for Raw:

Kane vs. Big Show

World Tag Team Titles:
Dudley Boyz© vs. The Platform to Perfection; Ken Doane and Nick Nemeth

Charlie Haas vs. Muhammad Hassan
(If Haas wins, Shelton Benjamin gets an Intercontiental title shot; If Hassan wins, Benjamin will not receive another opportunity so long as he’s the champion)

Also;

We will hear from the World Champion, Batista!

And;

A ‘Special’ video from Christian
!

The very foundation of the WWE was shaken its core, when Vince McMahon fired both John Cena and CM Punk live on RAW! following Money In The Bank(2011). The weeks leading into SummerSlam really changed the WWE, with new talent rising to the top and filling the gap that Cena and Punk left behind. Check out the thread to see all the build up for these matches and much more.

Intercontinental Championship
Cody Rhodes© vs. Daniel Bryan
Rhodes successfully defended his newly won Intercontinental Championship against Daniel Bryan on the SmackDown! following his Money In the Bank win over Ezekiel Jackson. Daniel Bryan took Cody to limit in that match and the following week made Rhodes out to the Lebell Lock this past week on SmackDown! Will Cody Rhodes once again tap out to the powerful submission skills of Daniel Bryan or will Daniel Bryan fall victim to the same fate that he had in his first title opportunity against Cody Rhodes?

WWE Diva's Championship
Brie Bella© vs. Tamina
After winning the Diva's title at MITB from Kelly Kelly, The Bella Twins have been ontop of the world. On the Monday Night Raw! following MITB, Tamina won a triple threat to earn a shot at the title. Tamina and the Bella's have done nothing but play a game of chess, since the match was made official. Will the Bella's be able to use Twin Magic to retain the title or will Tamina finally realize her dream of becoming a champion?

Falls Count Anywhere
Mark Henry vs. Sheamus
Every since Mark Henry laid out Sheamus on the SmackDown following Money In the Bank, the two big men have been at war. SmackDown General Manager Teddy Long unsure of how to handle the situation did the only thing he could and that was book these two monsters in a falls count anywhere match. Will the Celtic Warrior be able to slay the World's Strongest Man or will the World's Strongest Man add another member to the Hall Of Pain?

WWE Championship
Kofi Kingston© vs. Kevin Nash
The war between Kevin Nash and Kofi Kingston started when Kofi laid out Nash with Trouble In Paradise after his match with CM Punk. Kofi would cash in his Money In The Bank contract to win the title after taking advantage of the beating Nash gave to Punk. An enraged Kevin Nash requested and was granted a match against Kofi Kingston for the WWE title. Will Nash be able to take title from Kingston and prove that his win was a fluke or will Kofi put Big Sexy down for the count and get a credible win over a household name?

World Heavyweight Championship
Christian vs. Randy Orton vs. Wade Barrett©
The bitter rivalry between Christian and Randy Orton continues at SummerSlam, but this time new World HeavyWeight Champion Wade Barrett is involved. Christian had once again achieved his dream by defeating Randy Orton at MITB to win his second World Title, but his celebration was cut short, when Wade Barrett cashed in his MITB contract and won the title. Will Christian over come the odds and once again win the World Championship? Will "The Viper" become a 10 World Champion, by besting his rival Christian and new World Champion, Wade Barrett? Wade Barrett has everything on the line in this match, will he continue his Barrett Barrage and be able to cement his World Title win or will he turn out to be a one hit wonder?

Wednesday Night Warzone
14/03/12

On the 14th of this month, the Warzone will be standing by to try and clarify the ramifications of last week's show.

The Invasion Lashes Out!
During the Main Event last week, The British Invasion lived up to their name, and invaded. Chris Masters was taking on Matt Morgan in the first round of the NAW World Heavyweight Championship Tournament, when Invasion members, including previously qualified Magnus, interrupted the proceedings, resulting in the match being ruled a no contest. None of the members of the faction were available for comment, but NewAgeWrestling.com did catch up with Matt Morgan after the show. He said "(Wade Barrett) has said multiple times, that he doesn't even wanna be here. Now, he goes out there and gets involved in matches? MY matches? Next week, I want some answers from Mr. Barrett, and I hope that Shane McMahon lets Magnus stay in this compitition, because mark my words; if he is standing across from me, I will DESTROY him". Chris Masters has been very vocal about the situation also. "It was only a matter of time before I ended the match. All this is doing is delaying the inevitablel; total domination by The Masterpiece". Shane McMahon has been reported to be livid with the actions that took place. What will happen next and what will be the fate of the British Invasion?

Legacy Advance!
Not in the tournament, but in their own personal goal. Last week, Legacy announced that they were calling out all tag teams across the globe to compete against them in NAW. We saw them defeat The Sheiks last week in controversial fashion. Who will be next to step up to the challenge?

Ingrávido Division Announced!
Last night, Shane McMahon gave word of the Ingrávido Division, a new twist in the company, allowing high flyers and smaller wrestlers a platform to showcase their skills, free from the drama and controversy of the World Title scene. The match to decide the inaugural Ingrávido champion is booked for Fight for New York iPPV. It will currently star Amazing Red, Low-Ki & Justin Gabriel. Other wrestlers are expected to be added later.

Update on Tyler Black!
It turns out that Black's injury, suffered at the hands of Muhammad Hassan, were worse than expected. The innovative wrestler suffered a fracture on his right arm, and is expected to be out of action for 3-6 Months. We all wish him a speedy recovery.

WWE Friday Night Smackdown Preview- 29/5/05- Milwaukee; Wisconsin

Friday Night Smackdown heads to Milwaukee fresh off of a wild night in Buffalo this past Sunday at The Great American Bash and we are sure to find out several repercussions for some of the blue brand’s biggest stars.

The WWE Championship took centre stage this past Sunday as the champion John Cena walked in to defend his title against John Bradshaw Layfield, Kurt Angle and Randy Orton. It was no doubt the biggest test of Cena’s championship reign but somehow, someway the champion managed to walk out with the title still in his grasp. However, it didn’t come without controversy.

The biggest talking point of that match involved the Legend Killer Randy Orton. Orton was on a real roll, building huge momentum as he looked to capture the WWE title, but his momentum was to be derailed in shocking circumstances as for the first time since Judgment Day, The Undertaker made his presence felt and chased off the youngest World Champion in history, seeking payback after Orton defeated the Deadman back in May thanks to the use of a devastating steel chair shot. This week on Smackdown we will hear from the Legend Killer himself regarding both his pursuit of the WWE Championship and the return of his bitter rival, the Phenom, The Undertaker.

One man who was also seething following the outcome of that match was Kurt Angle. Angle has claimed for weeks on end, months perhaps that John Cena is running scared from him, that John Cena would not face him one on one, man to man. Well we have learned that Kurt Angle stands by those comments following the Bash, claiming that Cena again dodged him Sunday night, instead pinning JBL and in Angle’s words, ‘taking the easy way out’. Cena will no doubt take anger to those comments and we have learned that Angle and Cena’s paths will cross this Friday night in Tag team action. Cena will team with Rob Van Dam and Rey Mysterio to take on Angle and the WWE Tag Team Champions, MNM.

Speaking of MNM, they survived by the skin of their teeth Sunday night, defending their titles successfully against Van Dam and Mysterio but it wasn’t all as simple as it seems. The stipulation for this match was that MNM would NOT have Melina at ringside supporting them, however if MNM still won that match, Van Dam and Mysterio would not receive another opportunity at the gold. As Van Dam and Mysterio looked set to finally get one over on the A-Listers, a masked assailant appeared and cost the challengers the match, allowing MNM to retain their gold. The question remains just who was under that mask and what are the consequences for Van Dam and Mysterio? Teddy Long has promised a full investigation and this Friday we hope to find out if he’s any nearer to discovering just who was under that mask.

Another shocker from this past Sunday involved the Cruiserweight title changing hands as Paul London lost his gold to The Hurricane thanks to the involvement of both Chavo Guerrero and a steel chair. For several weeks now Chavo Guerrero has been trying to get under the skin of Hurricane, proclaiming him to be nothing but a joke, that he couldn’t be taken seriously whilst he hide under a mask and cape. Guerrero claimed that the man under it all however would not only be taken seriously but would become the next Cruiserweight Champion, Gregory Helms. Hurricane refused Guerrero’s advances, vowing to do it the right way, however Sunday night saw Hurricane cave in to those promises and turn his back on the fans, his friendship with Paul London and indeed his identity. Has Gregory Helms been born? What will the new champion as well as his companion Guerrero have to say? We hope to find out this Friday night.

The United States title also changed hands this past Sunday night as Matt Hardy finally defeated Orlando Jordan to win his first major singles championship here in the WWE, proving a lot of his doubters wrong. This Friday night Hardy will defend the title for the very first time in a rematch from Sunday night. Will Hardy once again trump JBL’s chief of staff? Or will it be a short lived reign for Hardy and mean a quick return to the top for OJ?

Also confirmed for this weeks show is a huge battle of the bulls as the undefeated Bobby Lashley will take on Chris Masters in a huge match for both men. Lashley scored a big win Sunday night, defeating Rene Dupree and Kenzo Suzuki in a Handicap match while Chris Masters finally got one over on the Mexicools, defeating them in a Six Man Tag Team match along with The Pitbulls. Who will keep up their momentum in Milwaukee? Tune in to find out!!

Confirmed for this week’s Smackdown:

John Cena, Rob Van Dam and Rey Mysterio vs. Kurt Angle and MNM

WWE United States Title:
Matt Hardy© vs. Orlando Jordan

Bobby Lashley vs. Chris Masters

Plus;

We will hear from the Legend Killer, Randy Orton

At the opening of last weeks show, Jerry Lynn vented his frustration about not being able to beat Rob Van Dam at Guilty As Charged and was so riled up that he even challenged Rob Van Dam to a match at Cyberslam. Lynn, and the ECW fans expected an answer out of 'The Whole F'N Show' last week but he was no where to be seen, fans and Jerry Lynn especially will be expecting Rob Van Dam to answer the challenge tonight on Hardcore TV but, there is still a chance that RVD will not have an answer. There's only one way to find out, check your local listings to find out if Hardcore TV is in your area!

The ECW World & Television Champion, and member of The Network, 'The Man Beast' Rhino experienced an ass kicking at the hands of Sandman last week when Sandman entered the ring following Rhino's victory over Johnny Swinger and literally caned him to hell. Rhino wasn't the only one who fell victim to a caning, Cyrus, much tot he delight of almost everyone, also got his ass kicked by the beer chugging ECW Legend! Regardless of who the Sandman destroyed last week, he sent one clear message to Rhino & The Network; he wants his ECW Championship back.

Plus, Chris Chetti and his manager, Lou E. Dangerously will be in the house to address why he came back to ECW, despite being forced out of it back at November 2 Remember. WWE Monday Night Raw Preview May 24th, 2004

This week the superstars of Raw roll into Rockford, Illinois as they begin to head full throttle towards Vengeance.

There’s been one thing on the mind of just about everybody when they think about Raw as of late, and that’s the bitter feud between the Raw General Manager Eric Bischoff, and the ‘Sheriff’ of Raw Stone Cold Steve Austin. Things have reached boiling point ever since a couple of weeks ago, when Vince McMahon himself appeared on Raw and announced an extremely high stakes match at Vengeance. Bischoff and Austin both pick a representative to wrestle for them at Vengeance, and whoever’s representative wins has full control of Raw, whilst the loser will be fired. The whole situation heated up even more when Bischoff announced his representative... none other than Bill Goldberg. Goldberg has had problems with Austin since WrestleMania, when after Goldberg defeated Brock Lesnar, Austin Stunned him out of his boots. Now the pressure is on Austin as he has to find a representative who can match Goldberg, and last week Austin searched San Antonio, Texas seeking ‘The Heartbreak Kid’ Shawn Michaels. Eventually he found HBK, but whether or not Michaels will accept the offer from Austin and return to Raw tonight is unknown. He hasn’t been himself since The Rock let him know that he should retire because he’s past his prime, and this lead to Michaels spiralling downhill rather quickly, culminating in a shock loss to Matt Hardy. Bischoff has booked his representative in the main event tonight though, as he wants Goldberg to show everybody just what he can do. Bill Goldberg will be going one on one with ‘Big Poppa Pump’ Scott Steiner.

Funnily enough, Scott Steiner also fits into this feud between Bischoff and Austin. Bischoff originally tried to turn Steiner corporate; however Austin was able to talk Steiner out of it. From there, Easy E enlisted the help of the demented ‘Big Red Machine’ Kane. These two men have been at each other’s throats ever since. When these two men are in the same arena, everybody knows things can explode into chaos at any time. Just last week the two brawled to the parking lot, where Kane Chokeslammed Steiner onto the hood of a car. Hoping to quell interference in the main event, Bischoff has also booked Kane in a match tonight, as he’ll go one on one with Val Venis.

It has finally been announced that at Vengeance Chris Benoit will defending his World Heavyweight Title against both Triple H and Randy Orton in a triple threat match. This obviously means that Benoit will have to deal with all four members of Evolution heading into Vengeance, and that’s exactly what he was unable to do last week. Benoit made Flair tap out in the main event last week, but from there he was taken out in a four on one assault. This week Benoit has sworn for revenge and he’s been booked in a tag team match against Triple H and Randy Orton... The only problem, Benoit doesn’t have a partner. ‘The Rabid Wolverine’ has got until right before his match to find a partner, but the question remains, who in their right mind would want to get on Evolution’s bad side?

We will also hear of Chris Jericho’s thoughts regarding Christian recruiting Lance Storm to help make Jericho’s life a living hell.

All of this and plenty more as the road to Vengeance continues heating up...

~Monday Night Raw~
April 2nd, 2007
Joe Louis Arena
Detroit, MI

There were tears and triumphs, heartbreaks and heroes, but with WrestleMania XXIII now in the history books, the show must go on as Monday Night Raw braces itself for the Backlash!

Last night saw the crowning of a new WWE Champion, as Rob Van Dam prevailed in a Triple Threat Match against the former champion, Shawn Michaels, and Triple H. It was a great moment as Van Dam pulled off a win that some would consider an upset infront of a boisterous home-state Michigan crowd. With Raw also emanating from Detroit tonight, Van Dam will no doubt be looking to deliver yet another great performance infront of the Michigan faithful, kicking off his reign as WWE Champion with a bang!

But while WrestleMania XXIII was perhaps the highlight of Van Dam's career, it was certainly one of the darkest nights for Shawn Michaels. Michaels had entered Ford Field the WWE, determined to yet again steal the show at WrestleMania, and in the process retain his title. While Michaels' performance was at times breathtaking, he met fierce competition from Van Dam and 'The Game'. Triple H has long sought a one-on-one opportunity with Michaels as he continues to seek revenge for the betrayal at the hands of his former D-Generation X colleague two months. With the WWE Championship now no longer an issue between the two, will Triple H get his wish and finally get Michaels alone in the ring? Or will his faith yet again come to Michaels' rescue, allowing him to dodge yet another bullet?

WrestleMania XXIII was also a great night for John Cena, as thanks to a little help from 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin, Cena overcame Bobby Lashley, sending a clear message to the McMahon Empire that nothing will break Cena's spirit or resolve. Despite Mr. McMahon himself being the Special Guest Referee, and plenty of outside interference from Shane McMahon, Cena prevailed when Austin, the original choice as referee, made a triumphant return, removing Vince and Shane from the equation and allowing Cena to pick up the win. But, one thing Vince has long been known for is holding a grudge, and despite his win, Cena will no doubt be aware that his troubles with the McMahons are far from. Just what will 'The Evil Genius' Mr. McMahon have in store for Cena tonight?

The Money in the Bank Ladder lived up to it's tradition as eight superstars contested one of the most ferocious ladder matches in WWE. Through all the mayhem, a winner was finally crowned, Raw's own Randy Orton. 'The Legend Killer' picked his moment well, capitalising on the misfortune of others as he stormed up the ladder to success. But Orton has been challenged to meet one of the other Money in the Bank compettitors, Jeff Hardy. A rivalry that has been building between the two over the last month or so escalated in the run up to WrestleMania, and even at Ford Field, the two came to blows on several occasions. Both men will be battered and bruised, but Orton will look to send a clear message to both Rob Van Dam and Batista, that their titles could be lost at any moment.

Elsewhere, two tag team feuds are set to be settled tonight as The Straight Edge Saints meet Chris Masters and Johnny Nitro, while we'll also see the rubber match in the recent series between The Hart Legacy and The ******* Wrecking Crew, with the champions The World's Greatest Tag Team no doubt watching both matches with a keen interest in their outcomes. Plus, after her victory over Beth Phoenix at WrestleMania, the Women's Champion Mickie James is in action again tonight against Candice Michelle in a non-title matchup. And after his heartbreaking loss to Mr. Kennedy last night, it appeared as if Ric Flair was ready to hang up his boots and head home... for good. Tonight, we'll get the latest on the status of 'The Nature Boy'.

All this and more, live tonight, on Monday Night Raw!

Confirmed Matches:

Randy Orton v Jeff Hardy

The Straight Edge Saints v Chris Masters and Johnny Nitro
The ******* Wrecking Crew v The Hart Legacy
Mickie James v Candice Michelle

Plus! The latest news on the status of 'The Nature Boy' Ric Flair.

WWE SummerSlam 2004 Preview
August 15, Toronto, Canada

Icon vs Icon
The Rock vs Shawn Michaels

The WWE’s version of the Summer Games begins this Sunday in Toronto Canada for the biggest SummerSlam of all time. For the first time ever SummerSlam will be a special 4 hour event. The stage is set for the biggest main event in SummerSlam history. Two icons finally go head to head one on one for the first time ever in one of the biggest matches of all time. 2 years ago at WrestleMania 18, The Rock defeated another icon, the legendary Hulk Hogan in Toronto. The Rock heads into Toronto this Sunday knowing that this will be his last match and what fitting way would it be for Rock to win his last match in style. However for Rock to do this he will face one of the greatest athletes in WWE history, The Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels. For many years both of them men have despised each other. Shawn Michaels vows to humiliate Rock in the country where he once humiliated Canada’s own Bret the Hitman Hart. Shawn believes that he is the best and in this ring no one can touch him. Shawn claims that no one is in his league. Rock believes that he’s done it all but one thing he hasn’t done is defeat Shawn Michaels. A match that many believed would never take place but this dream match will finally take place at SummerSlam. Who will go down as the greatest of all time?

WWE Title Match
Eddie Guerrero © vs The Undertaker
This Sunday at SummerSlam will mark the exact 6 month reign of Eddie Guerrero’s WWE Title reign. It has been an incredible story for Latino Heat as he has overcome obstacle after obstacle to retain his championship. Eddie’s reign started on February 15 at No Way Out and many believe that finally Eddie’s time as champion will come to an end. His opponent is none other than the phenom, the man from the darkside, The legendary Undertaker. Since returning at WrestleMania 20, Undertaker has been unstoppable. At The Great American Bash The Undertaker buried Mordecai and Paul Bearer alive. Then The Undertaker sent Kane on his last ride and now that Undertaker has no thorn on his side, he has simply one goal and that is to once again become the WWE Champion. It’s been 2 long years since he last held the WWE Title but now The Undertaker is better than ever. Lets not sell Eddie short, he did retain his WWE Title against The Undertaker and Kane back at Judgment Day in a triple threat match. However this past Thursday on Smackdown The Undertaker made Eddie submit. Will Eddie’s lying, cheating and stealing tactics work to get one over The Phenom this Sunday? Will he overcome another obstacle to continue his reign or will the ultimate master of the mindgames The Undertaker finally end the reign of Latino Heat?

World Heavyweight Title Match
Chris Benoit © vs Randy Orton

This Sunday, live on pay-per-view, Randy Orton attempts to become the youngest World Champion in WWE history. In order to accomplish this, he must defeat current World Heavyweight Champion Chris Benoit. At only 24 years of age, Orton would beat out past youngsters Brock Lesnar (25), Yokozuna (26) and The Rock (26). Orton believes that it is his destiny to become world champion this year and he believes it will be at SummerSlam. Orton has been on a roll this year beating legends like Mick Foley and The Rock. Orton also won the King of the Ring to receive his SummerSlam title shot. Orton also had the longest reigning Intercontinental title reign in the last 7 years. Orton has not lost in one on one competition this year on ppv but neither has Chris Benoit. Lets take you back at the Royal Rumble, Benoit and Orton started off the Royal Rumble but Benoit went on all the way to win the Rumble. Benoit then went on to become champion at WrestleMania and went on to beat several top challengers including Orton’s mentor HHH. With HHH failing to capture the belt, will Orton also fail to capture the belt? Will Chris Benoit continue to reign supreme on Raw, will he make Orton tap? Or will Orton put an end of Benoit’s dominance on Raw. Watch SummerSlam this Sunday to see if Orton reaches his goal.

#1 contenders Last Man Standing Match
Kurt Angle vs Edge
It’s been eight years since Kurt Angle won an Olympic goal medal but this Sunday Kurt steps in to the ring with one of his biggest rivals in WWE’s version of the Summer Games. A rivalry that has been developing for months could possibly finally come to an end this Sunday in a brutal last man standing match. Both men are fierce rivals and it seemed as if their feud was over at The Great American Bash but Kurt Angle believed that was just the beginning. Edge thought that he would have nothing to do with Kurt anymore when Edge was drafted to Raw however Kurt also ended up on Raw as a draft pick. These rivals continue off their heated feud on Raw and at SummerSlam the stakes will be high because the winner of this match will become the #1 contender for the world heavyweight title. Both men vow to beat the hell out of each other. This match will be physically intense to say the least, Angle and Edge this Sunday as Edge returns home. Kurt vows to humiliate Edge in his home town. Which man will walk out of SummerSlam in one piece and which man will walk out of SummerSlam broken? Will Edge defeat Kurt Angle or will it be a bad homecoming for Edge?

HHH vs Rey Mysterio

Last month HHH was drafted to Smackdown and he disrespected the Smackdown superstars. Rey Mysterio beat HHH by count out in a gauntlet match to end HHH’s hopes of a title shot at SummerSlam and later on in that same match HHH cost Rey the chance of becoming the #1 contender. HHH then took shots at Rey’s family and HHH claims that a guy like Rey would never become a main eventer. Monday Night Raw Preview: May 1st 2000

Baltimore Arena – Baltimore Maryland

Coming off an action packed Backlash Pay Per View in Washington D.C, what will The Rock have to say about being screwed out of yet another WWF Championship opportunity against Triple H by The McMahons? At the climax of the match, Steve Austin, the special guest referee was trading shots with Shane McMahon in the back after being pulled away from the match. This gave the opportunity for a new referee to come down and took Austin from stopping interference in the match. After taking two pedigrees, going through the announce table and a sledgehammer shot, a third pedigree on the steel steps finished him off. How will The Great One overcome The McMahon family led by Triple H and Vince?

Vince McMahon announced this morning that Raw will open with Stone Cold Steve Austin raising Triple H’s hand in victory for the Last Man Standing match last night. Will Austin follow through with these orders or will the Texas Rattlesnake look to get revenge on the McMahons?

In a show stealing 30 minute iron man match, Chris Benoit got the win over Chris Jericho by one fall. But the deciding fall wasn’t a clean one as fellow Radicalz member, Eddie Guerrero, assisted on the victory. With the Intercontinental and European unified, Benoit has certainly gained the attention of the WWF locker room and his recent success. Will Jericho be able enact revenge on The Radicalz when he goes one on one with Guerrero tonight?

Kurt Angle proved to the world that he has what it takes to roll with the best in the WWF, after his methodical win over Kane at Backlash. Angle took advantage of Kane’s weakened ankle and finished him off with the ankle lock, featuring the rare sight of Kane tapping out. Will Angle be able to keep this momentum?

And after the tag team turmoil, Edge & Christian remain the Team Team Champions. The Hardyz may have done much of the work, eliminating all the teams up until them, but E&C picked them apart and got the victory. But Matt and Jeff get one more opportunity for a shot at the gold when they compete in a #1 contender tag team match against The New Age Outlaws, live on Raw!

In other news, Lita, one of the most athletic women to ever compete in the WWF, won her first Woman’s Championship at Backlash. With an unlikely rematch from Stephanie McMahon, there’s a great deal of talented competition in the locker room looking for a shot at Lita.

Find out all this and more tonight at 9/8 CT!

This will hopefully be up in the near future. (Y)
