J.R.:
Welcome evíryone to the tweníy-second annual w-w-e Survivor Series, live from the Air Canada Center here in Toronto Canada, aní what a night weíre in for. . . Joining me is my fellow Hall of Famer, Jerry ĎThe Kingí Lawler, aní of course weíre joined by our colleagues from Smackdown, Michael Cole aní Matt Striker.

Michael Cole: Thanks J-R. It promises tí be one of the most exciting nights in recent histíry on a night like no other in the w-w-e calendar. Thereíll be no less than three traditional elimination matches, aní even though there wonít be any titles at stake in those matches, there is a whole lot at stake.

Matt Striker: Thatís absolutely right. We have the battle of the brands where a team composed of both Raw and Smackdown superstars will compete with pride very much on the line.

Michael Cole: Weíre also going tí see the so called future of the w-w-e as claimed by The Miz when he leads his team in to battle against a team led by one of the all time greats who has a histíry at the Survivor Series, especially here in Canada, ĎThe Heartbreak Kidí Shawn Michaels.

Matt Striker: Shawn Michaels may well have caused contríversy at the Survivor Series Michael but one man who caused some contríversy of his own as recently as Friday night is the World Heavyweight Champion C-M Punk. Tínight he will lead a team in to what will be nothing short of a war against a team led by the one aní only John Cena.

Michael Cole: Well we thought that after what we saw and heard the other night, things couldnít get anymore personal between these two teams, but we need tí take you back to an incident earlier tíday when both Christian aní Edge, who have been at each otherís throats ever since Christian returned earlier this year arrived at the arena.

*Video Promo*
Earlier Today

ĎThe Rated-R Superstarí Edge was making his way from his car in the parking lot when another car drove in too and parked up a matter of feet away from him. Out of the car stepped his brother, ĎCaptain Charismaí Christian. The younger sibling was out of his car in a flash after the engine cut, staring right at Edge who stopped & stared right back at him with a big smirk on his face.

Edge: You ready fí another defeat tínight bro, right here in our beautiful hometown? Gonna be embarrassiní huh? Donít worry though Cí, theyíre used to it.

Christian didnít seem bothered by his brotherís dig, going towards the trunk which was already opened as he left the car.

Christian: Sorry tí disappoint you but the only embarrassing thing around hereís you.

Edge: Is that right? Like I care what you think, just try not tí let yíteam down again like yídid the other night.

Christian: Yeah? Yímean when you jumped me again? How about I turn my back right now, you gonna do it again Ďcause thatís the only way you fight these days, coward?

Captain Charisma tried to ignore his brother and walked to the trunk to get his bag out. Edge wasnít happy and paced round after him, grabbing his arm and turning him round.

Edge: Whatíd you just call me? Say it tí my face, I dare ya.

Christian: You goiní deaf bro? What I said, I called you a coward. You got a problem with that?

Edge: You bet your ass I got a problem with that.

Christian: Yeah? Prove it.

Christian shoved his brother away, getting Edge flustered. The Rated-R Superstar fought back and nailed Christian with a right hand and the brothers came to blows. Christian grabbed Edgeís head and tried to drive it in to the outside of the trunk, but Edge blocked it and nailed him with a blow to the gut. The older sibling then grabbed Christian by the head and smashed his head against the outside of the trunk. He wasnít done there though, and with Christian slumped against the trunk, Edge spotted an opportunity and grabbed the hood before bringing it crashing down against his brotherís back.

Christian immediately fell back on the floor of the parking lot and was screaming in pain with Edge looking on somewhat shocked, eventually smiling at his brotherís pain. We then cut to a shot later on when Christian was helped in to the back of an ambulance, still looking in some serious pain on a stretcher with Tazz watching, and as the door shut and the ambulance took off, the Smackdown General Manager shook his head, clearly pissed before stomping away.

*Cut to Ringside*

Tazz
walks out to the stage with a microphone in hand, and he still doesnít look in the best of moods at all.

Tazz: After seeiní that footage, what Iíve got tí say ainít gonna come as much of a shock.

Obviously raging inside, Tazz keeps his cool as he prepares to say whatever it is heís come out to say.

Tazz: You saw Christian taken away in an ambulance aní the bottom line is he hurt his back pretty bad aní he ainít gonna be able tí compete here tínight, aní probably fí the rest oíthe year.

*Major Heat*

Tazz:
Trust me, Iím just as angry as you guys aní it leaves me with a decision tí make fí the main event now John Cenaís team are a man down. Right now Iíve not made that decision but I will very soon, but I promise ya youíre still gonna see Cenaís aní Punkís teams go up against each other tínight. The main event is still on, donít worry Ďbout that.

*Pop*

Tazz:
Right now Iím gonna head back there aní come to a decision, aní when I do, youíll all know what it is. . . Once again, Iím sorry youíre not gonna get tí see Christian tínight but youíre still gonna get yímain event aní itís gonna be a hell of a show I promise yíthat. Weíve got some great action for ya aní weíre gonna kick it off right now with what you only get at the Survivor Series. Enjoy the show folks.

Tazz turns round and heads towards the curtain. . .

ďI think Iím cute, I know Iím sexy. . .Ē

The roof is almost blown off the Air Canada Center with a mixture of cheers & boos (largely cheers) as ĎThe Heartbreak Kidí Shawn Michaels hits the stage, shaking hands with Tazz on the way, followed by his team-mates, Kofi Kingston, Elijah Burke & Bryan Danielson.

Lilian Garcia:
This contest is a traditional Survivor Series elimination match where the winner will be determined when one team has been completely eliminated. . . Intríducing first, making their way tí the ring, representing Team H-B-K; Kofi Kingston, Elijah Burke, Bryan Danielson aní ĎThe Heartbreak Kidí SHAWN MI-CHAELS!

Team H.B.K. enter the ring one after another, all of them then heading to one of the four corners, climbing up to the second rope looking in to the crowd, all seeming to be very relaxed & confident with the team captain applauding the Toronto crowd. They then step down and come together in the ring, getting a gentle encouragement from Michaels, resulting in some fist bumps from all four men.

ďAWE-SOMEĒ

A ton of heat breaks out in the arena as the extremely focused looking Team Miz walk out to the stage, led by The Miz with Jack Swagger, Dolph Ziggler & Heath Slater, all stopping at the top of the ramp. They look in to the crowd, disgusted by their reaction and then down intently at their opponents before making their way slowly down the ramp to the ring.

Lilian Garcia:
And their opponents, the team of The Miz, Heath Slater, Jack Swagger aní Dolph Ziggler; TEAM MIZ!

Michaels and his team all keep their eyes on their opponents as they take it turns walking up the steps and in to the ring, battle lines well & truly drawn with Team H.B.K. now looking ready for action too.

*The Opening Match*

Team H.B.K. (Shawn Michaels, Bryan Danielson, Kofi Kingston & Elijah Burke) w/Layla
vs. Team Miz (The Miz, Heath Slater, Jack Swagger & Dolph Ziggler)

Spoiler for Elimination Recaps:

Burke was in control of Slater and looking to put him away. He dragged the rookie up from his knees with Slater putting up no resistance as he was fired in to the ropes. Burke almost secured the first elimination by sending him crashing in to the canvas courtesy of a lifting spinning sit-down spinebuster. It looked all over and couldíve been had it not been for The Miz racing in to the ring to break up the count by stomping on Burkeís head to save his rookie.

It gave Slater a chance as he made it back up to his feet, pulling the groggy Burke up from his knees and whipping him in to the ropes. Slater though made the mistake of ducking his head, allowing Burke to kick him square in the kisser. Slaterís head snapped back up and Burke stomped him in the gut before planting him with the Elijah Experience to a big pop. Burke made the cover in a flash and picked up the fall to give Team H.B.K. the early advantage.

Elimination #1: Heath Slater by Elijah Burke

After being tagged back in to the match by Danielson, Burke went right after The Miz. Danielson had done serious damage on their opponentís team captain. Miz battled his way back up to his feet but was sent back down by a clothesline from a fired-up Burke. He wasnít done there and sent Miz in to the ropes, then connected with a perfect standing dropkick to put The Miz back on the mat. Miz was struggling and crawled the short distance to the corner, and as he used the ropes to help him back up, Burke ran at him and hit a Stinger Splash.

With the fans cheering as Burke stepped back out of the corner, Miz staggered out in to a kick to the gut and a Perfect Plex, but managed to get his shoulder up at the count of two. Burke smelt blood and had The Miz on the brink, pulling him right back up and firing him with force in to the corner. He pulled down his knee pads and got ready to hit the Elijah Express with the fans cheering and the rest of Team H.B.K. getting right behind him.

He went speeding in at Miz but Mr. Hollywood threw himself to safety at the last second as Burke crashed in to the pads. Battle scarred, Miz crawled across the mat on his knees and made the tag to the pumped up Ziggler. The Smackdown superstar flew through the ropes as Burke tried to make it back up to his feet. As he did though, Ziggler charged across the ring and planted him with the Zig Zag, then hooked both legs to even things up and eliminate his former foe.

Elimination #2: Elijah Burke by Dolph Ziggler

Closing Minutes: The Heartbreak Kid hits the ring and goes right after Ziggler, running at him for a clothesline. Ziggler ducks it and Michaels runs through off the ropes, comes back and connects with a flying forearm. He flips up to a big pop, still with some typical Canadian boos heís used to as Ziggler tries to pick himself back up. Michaels helps him up from his knees and scoop slams him right back down to the canvas. The fans are still cheering as The Showstopper heads to the corner and the dizzy heights of the top rope, getting a bigger reaction from the crowd.

The Miz doesnít like what he sees coming and can only look on as Michaels dives off the top and drops his elbow across Zigglerís chest. Dolphís in trouble now and Michaels takes another trip to the corner, full of momentum as he starts to tune up the band. Some of the fans are stomping their feet in the stands as the unsuspecting Ziggler claws his way back up on to his knees. Miz panics and storms the ring, racing in and Michaels sees him. He switches gears and LEVELS MIZ WITH SOME SWEET CHIN MUSIC!!!. . . . . Miz falls to the deck and rolls out of the ring, but Michaels isnít done and turns round.

Ziggler makes it back up and turns round to see Shawn coming at him for a SUPER KICK!!!. . . . . NO! Ziggler ducks it and grabs Michaels around the head, trying to lock in a SLEEPER HOLD!!. . . . . He canít though and Michaels pushes him back in to the pads, getting himself free of his opponent. Shawn steps to the side as Ziggler staggers out, and The Heartbreak Kid climbs up to the second rope and all the way to the top. He turns his head to see Dolph turning round and leaps in to action with an ASAI MOONSAULT!!. . . . . He hits it and takes Dolph down, landing on top of him for a cover. . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . .

NO! Ziggler kicks out. Both men pick themselves back up and Michaels blocks a kick to the gut, holding on to Zigglerís boot and sweeps his left leg too. H.B.Kís on top and heís got the audacity to go for the SHARPSHOOTER!!!. . . . . Itís divided the crowd with a whole host of cheers & boos ringing round the Air Canada Center as Michaels turns Ziggler on to his back, putting him through hell. Ziggler screams in pain, stretching his arm out to try and get near the ropes, but heís nowhere near.

He has to fight and with his team facing him, giving him some much needed encouragement, he does fight, trying desperately trying to drag himself towards the ropes and his team. Michaels holds firm as Dolph continues to suffer, fighting with everything heís got, getting closer & closer. Miz leans over the ropes and urges him to keep on going, and he does, dragging himself to within touching distance. He stretches his arm out for dear life and grabs hold of the bottom rope to the joy of his team captain & Swagger.

Michaels calmly stands back up and heads over to his teamís corner to tag in Kofi with Ziggler crawling towards his own team with both Miz & Swagger urging him to do so, seeing Kofi step through the ropes. Kofi though races across the ring and pulls him away and up to his feet. The Jamaican Sensation fires Dolph in to the ropes and hits him with a jumping heel kick. The fans cheer as Dolph fights his way back up to his feet, still struggling as Kofi also stands back up to send Ziggler in to the corner.

The Jamaican wastes no time at all and runs in at him with speed and jumps up to the second rope to hammer Dolph with a flurry of right hands to a big pop. He looks in to the crowd, all cheering him on and then jumps back down before monkey flipping him out of the corner and down to the mat. Kofiís in control now and sees his opportunity as he gets back up. Ziggler lies in the middle of the ring, helpless as Kofi comes back off the ropes to hit the BOOM DROP!!. . . . . Both Kofiís legs are driven in to Zigglerís chest and Kofi shifts around to make the cover. . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

Ziggler gets the shoulder up but Kofiís not downhearted, not at all. He hurries back up to his feet and watches as Dolph rolls on to his side. Kofi takes a couple of steps back and keeps his eyes fixed firmly on Ziggler, getting ready to explode. He gets anxious, desperate to strike, and as Dolph makes it back up and turns round, Kofi leaps up in to the air, TROUBLE IN PARADISE!!!. . . . . But no, Ziggler ducks it and Kofi hits the deck. Zigglerís a relieved man, and as Kofi stands back up, both men turn round to face each other and Ziggler strikes, NAILING KOFI WITH AN ENZUIGIRI!!. . . . . Kofi just falls flat on his face as an intense Ziggler, scurries on his knees to turn him over on to his back and hook the leg for a cover. . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . .

NO! Kofi lifts his shoulder up, much to the anger & frustration of Ziggler. He stares down with contempt at Kofi but still looking worse for wear, he heads over to his corner to tag in The All-American American. Swaggerís in no mood to wait around and flies through the ropes, going right after the dazed Jamaican on the canvas. Swagger grabs him by the boot and turns him over on to his chest again, locking in the ANKLE LOCK!!!. . . . . Kofiís in pain, screaming in agony as the incredibly focused youngster tortures him, much to the satisfaction of The Miz and the recovering Ziggler.

Itís the turn of Team H.B.K. to support their man, and they do. Kofiís struggling but fights it as much as he can, dragging himself by his nails across the mat towards the ropes. Swagger doesnít look happy at all and doesnít let him get there easily, but Kofiís fighting for his life and can see the light. Swagger though doesnít let him get there and pulls him away, but Kofi comes back at him and turns himself over on to his back and kicks up at Swagger.

He frees himself as Swagger falls back, and both men make their way back up. Swaggerís up first and Kofiís not finding it easy on his feet, giving Swagger the chance to stomp him in the gut. The All-American American pulls him in to his body by the waist, lifts him up off the mat and sends him crashing back down to the canvas with a GUT-WRENCH SUPLEX!!. . . . . Kofiís back on the mat and Swagger jumps on top of him to make a cover. . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

Kofi gets the shoulder up and Swagger isnít happy, shaking his head as he leans back on to his knees. He stands back up and drags Kofi by the feet over to the corner, then climbs his way up to the second rope, keeping his back to his opponent and the ring before coming off the ropes for a CORNER SLINGSHOT SPLASH!!. . . . . NO, KOFI LIFTS HIS KNEES UP IN TO SWAGGERíS GUT!!. . . . . The fans love it as The All-American American rolls around on the mat clutching his stomach with the fans cheering.

Both men are hurting as they struggle back up to their feet and Swagger manages to reverse a whip to the corner, sending Kofi in to the pads. Swagger takes a quick breath and charges in at him, right in to a PENDULUM KICK COUNTER FROM KOFI!!. . . . . Swaggerís sent out of the corner clutching his stomach once more as Kofi climbs up to the summit with the fans cheering the Jamaican on. He watches on intently as Swagger turns round, then leaps through the air for a DIVING CROSS BODY!!!. . . . . Kofi lands on top of Swagger and reaches to the side to hook his leg as the ref drops to his knees to make the count. . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . .

NO! Swagger kicks out, disappointing the Toronto natives greatly. Neither are down for long and they rush up to their feet as quickly as they can with Kofi feeding his boot in to Swagger for an enzuigiri, but Swagger holds on to it and once again tries to apply the ANKLE LOCK!!!. . . . . Kofi doesnít let him get it locked in this time and turns over to kick up at him again in the face, sending Swagger back pedalling. Kofiís back up in a flash, and as Swagger turns round, heís livid and runs at him with fury, but right in to the TROUBLE IN PARADISE!!!. . . . . A big pop breaks out and Kofi flies across the mat to turn Swagger, whoís not moving over on to his back to make the cover. . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . .

. . . . . 3!

Elimination #3: Jack Swagger by Kofi Kingston

Swagger rolls out of the ring as Kofi picks himself back up, but he has no time to react as The Miz races across the ring to club him across the back. Kofi drops to his knees but the focused team captain pulls his fellow Raw superstar back up, only to send him down to the mat courtesy of a NECKBREAKER!!. . . . . The Miz wastes no time whatsoever as he shimmies round on the mat to make a cover. . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . .

NO! Kofi gets the shoulder up, making the angry Miz even angrier. He stands back up and urges Kofi to do the same, but heís not finding it easy as he rolls on to his side. The Miz loses patience and drags him back up himself, then fires him with fury in to the turnbuckle pads. He runs right at him, jumping up at him for a clothesline and ends up sitting on the second rope. With a sadistic look on his face, The Miz stares in to the crowd as Kofi falls forward, flat on his knees and down to the mat.

The Miz goes back to work and grabs Kofiís arm, then pulls him away from the ropes before dropping to the mat himself and applying an armbar submission hold. He yanks away at Kofiís arm, trying to make him suffer, almost looking possessed as Kofi lies there struggling to fight the hold. The fans get behind him again, chanting his name and clapping, and both Michaels & Danielson will him on too. It helps and Kofi fights the hold, and The Miz isnít happy.

He keeps the hold locked in as Kofi pulls himself to the side across the mat, getting towards the ropes and grabbing hold of it to a big pop. Miz is livid and jumps back up to his feet. He drags Kofi back up and tries to pull him away from the ropes, but Kofi shoves him away, getting Miz even hotter under the collar as he charges right back at him. Kofi steps out and ducks under the outstretched arm, turns round and connects with the S.O.S.!! . . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . . NO!

The Miz kicks out and both men race their way back up to a vertical base with Kofi ducking a wild right hand and hitting the ropes for a SPRINGBOARD REVERSE CROSS BODY, HOLDING ON FOR A COVER!! . . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

Miz powers out and Kofi rushes back up to his feet, stepping back in to his corner to tag in Danielson. The fans cheer as Danielson flies in to the ring with Miz back up. The American Dragon runs at him and connects with a JUMPING HIGH KNEE!. . . . . Miz falls to the deck but isnít down for long. He picks himself back up with Danielson looking to gain some serious momentum.

He does just that and whips Miz in to the corner, wasting no time at all to run at him, nailing him with a DROPKICK AGAINST THE CHEST!!. . . . . The fans love it as Danielson races back up to his feet and Miz steps out in pain, right in to Danielsonís clutches and a REGAL-PLEX!!. . . . . Holding on for the cover, the ref rushes across to make the count. . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . .

Shoulder up from The Miz! Danielson takes it on the chin and goes right back to work, shimmying round on the canvas to apply BODY SCISSORS!!. . . . . The Dragon squeezes the life & breath out of Mizís body who has nowhere to go. Again the fans cheer as Danielson does everything he can to make The Miz tap, but heís stubborn and refuses to give up. Heís not going anywhere though and Ziggler sees the danger his captainís in. He storms the ring and stamps on Danielsonís torso, breaking the hold to a chorus of boos inside the arena.

Michaels & Kofi donít like it but the ref takes control of the situation and sees him back on to the apron. Danielson has some cobwebs to shake off as he tries to get back up to his feet, and so does The Miz. Danielsonís up first and helps The Miz up but gets a shot to the chest for his troubles. Mr. Hollywood grabs his opponent by the wrist and sends him in to the ropes, but as Danielson comes back, he comes back with a bang, jumping up for TILT-A-WHIRL HEADSCISSORS BUT HOLDS ON FOR A GUILLOTINE CHOKE TO A HUGE ROAR FROM THE CANADIAN CROWD!!!. . . . .

Miz is in big time trouble as the intense Danielson chokes the life out of Miz, and again Ziggler steps through the ropes, but this time Kofiís thereís to see him off, racing across to take him down with a SPINNING WHEEL KICK!!. . . . . It sends Ziggler under the bottom rope and down to the floor as the fans chant for The Miz to tap. He clings on but Danielson isnít letting up, giving The Miz no chance but to tap out, setting off another big pop from the crowd.

Elimination #4: The Miz by Bryan Danielson

The Miz rolls across the ring under the bottom rope and down to the floor as Ziggler sits up on the other side to see heís got a mountain to climb all by himself, amusing Danielson in the ring as he looks down at the very downbeat looking figure of Ziggler. He hesitantly makes his way back up and crawls back under the bottom rope. The Dragon allows him to stand up and walk towards him as they go in to a collar & elbow tie-up. Ziggler gets the better of it and pulls him in to a side headlock but Danielson pushes him in to the ropes. Ziggler comes back with some fight and slides through Danielsonís legs and races back up to his feet.

They turn to face each other and Dolph nails Danielson with a right hand, putting him down on to one knee. Ziggler turns back and runs the ropes. As he comes back though, Danielson catches him with an extended elbow. It puts Ziggler down and The Dragon jumps right on him to lock in a TRIANGLE CHOKE!!!. . . . . The crowd erupts again as Danielson this time chokes the life out of Ziggler, whoís clearly in agony on the mat but fights for his life, scrapping his way out of the hold. Danielson, back on his feet reaches down to help Ziggler up, but Dolph sits up and rolls him in to an INSIDE CRADLE!! . . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . .

NO! Kick out from Danielson. They both pick themselves back up with Danielson the brighter, ducking a wild right from Dolph and grabbing him by the arm, wrenching away at it, forcing him down to the mat in the LEBELL LOCK!!!. . . . . Itís getting loud inside the Air Canada Center as Ziggler battles for survival, barely clinging on with Danielson torturing him. Again the crowd chant for the heel to tap but heís brave and desperately reaches his arm out, trying to drag himself across the canvas. Somehow he manages to pull himself slowly across with Danielson trying to hold on. He looks shocked as Ziggler, with everything he has manages to claw his way to the ropes and to safety.

The fans canít believe it and boo, but he looks all but done as he throws himself on to the bottom rope. Danielson sits up, surprised to see Dolph survive, not that itís doing a lot for him now. Danielson turns back and smiles at his corner, then stands back up. He walks over to Shawn & Kofi and looks in to the crowd, pointing at Michaels. Most are cheering and Danielson holds out his hand for the captain to slap his hand and tag his way in to the match.

The Heartbreak Kid casually steps through the ropes in to the ring to a loud response from the divided Canadian crowd, although itís largely in favour of Michaels as Ziggler pulls himself up by the ropes. H.B.K. tunes up the band, and again the fans are stomping their feet and clapping as the oblivious Ziggler steps away from the ropes and turns round to see Michaels explode out of the corner and connect with some SWEET CHIN MUSIC!!!. . . . . A huge pop with some cheers meets it as Ziggler collapses in a heap and Michaels falls on top of him, hooking the leg to make the cover. . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . . 3?

YES, ITíS ALL OVER!!!

Elimination #5: Dolph Ziggler by Shawn Michaels

ďSexy BoyĒ blasts out to another huge roar with Kofi & Danielson joining their captain and fellow survivor in the ring to get their arms raised in victory. Ziggler rolls out of the ring, leaving the victors the ring and they all exchange brief guy hugs with Michaels then applauding the crowd again. He again congratulates his team-mates before leaving the ring, followed by the extremely happy duo who head back up the ramp slapping the hands of the fans in the front row.

Winners: Team H.B.K.

Survivors: Shawn Michaels, Bryan Danielson & Kofi Kingston.

*Cut Backstage*

Smackdownís General Manager, Tazz is pacing through the halls of the arena with a handful of security officers following him, clearly still in a bad mood as he stops at one of the locker room doors. He tightens his tie and opens the door, walking straight in, and we hear some laughing as the camera follows him in. Team Punk (CM Punk, Chris Jericho, Shelton Benjamin, Alberto Del Rio-Ramirez & Edge) stand there laughing amongst themselves when Tazz coughs to get their attention, and they seemingly are in too good a mood to care about their bossís presence.

CM Punk: Hey, howís it goiní boss? Itís gonna be a good night right?

Tazz: Cut the crap Punk, this ainít a social visit. You know why Iím here.

CM Punk: Really, whyís that? Something happened has it?

Tazz: Yeah, as you well know thanks tí your buddy there.

Tazz stares right at Edge, letting him know full well heís not happy about what he did to Christian earlier.

CM Punk: Oh right, now you mention it, I did hear something happened earlier on to. . . Christian was it? I wouldnít worry, heís a tough son of a bitch.

The General Manager turns back to Punk, not amused at all.

Tazz: You set this up did yíchamp?

CM Punk: Yíknow, all jokes aside, I didnít. Still, yíhave tí admit, in my shoes, itís kind oífunny.

Tazz: Funny? Yíthink this is funny? (Turns to Edge) What about you Edge? I bet you think itís hilarious right that Christianís in the hospital aní not here?

Edge: As it happens, yeah, yeah I do. He got in my face aní he paid the price. You wanna blame anyone, blame him. He called me out aní I took him out, end of story.

Tazz: Well unlike you he ainít here so I guess Iím stuck with you, aní thanks tí you weíre a man down fí the main event, so guess what? Iím gonna even it up. Youíve got the night off.

All five members of Team Punk look stunned.

CM Punk: What?

Edge: Yeah, what?

Tazz: Did I not make it clear enough fí you guys? You took Christian out so Iím takiní you out, itís that simple. But hey, this is your home town right? Go see yífamily or catch up with some buddies, I donít care just as long as you get the hell out of here.

Edge: I ainít goiní anywhere.

Tazz: See I thought you might say that so I brought a few guys with me just in case.

Everyone looks confused as Tazz turns his head to the door.

Tazz: Come on in guys.

All eyes are on the door as the security team walk on in with Edge shaking his head, not happy at all.

Tazz: You gonna walk out or are they gonna throw you out? Your call dog.

The Rated-R Superstar glares furiously at his boss, realising heís got no choice.

Edge: Fine Iíll go but youíre gonna regret this, boss.

Tazz: Yeah I doubt it, just get out oíhere.

Punk steps forward and tries to stop his team-mate.

CM Punk: Wait, you donít have tí go anywhere.

Tazz: I think youíll find he does.

Tazz steps forward and pushes Punk back, looking right at Edge.

Tazz: What yíwaitiní for?

The rest of Team Punk look on as Edge gives Tazz another dirty look before walking past the security team who part for him to walk through and out of the room.

Tazz: Thanks guys.

The security guys do as theyíre told and leave as Tazz then follows, turning back and looking at Team Punk.

Tazz: Hey, I almost fígot. Good luck though tínight fellas.

The General Manager leaves the room with the camera zooming in on an angry CM Punk staring a hole through the door.

*Match #2*

The Undertaker
vs. Ted DiBiase w/Ezekiel Jackson & Maryse

Closing Minutes:
DiBiase looks all over the place as he pulls himself up by the ropes and The Undertakerís eyes are locked on his opponent, no sympathy shown whatsoever. Taker looks ready to strike and DiBiase doesnít have a clue. He turns round against the ropes and the dead-man charges across the ring to send him over the top with a clothesline, sending his opponent down to the floor by the ramp. Maryse isnít liking this, looking very worried for her boyfriend as he hits the floor. She walks over to him and tries to see how he is as he sits up, trying to get up on his knees.

Still the phenom stares coldly at his opponent, and as he sees DiBiase picking himself back up, he turns back in to the ropes and runs across the mat, then DIVES OVER THE TOP, BUT MARYSE PULLS TED OUT OF THE WAY AND THE DEAD-MAN HITS THE FLOOR!. . . . . The fans are stunned, some shown looking concerned as he lifts his head up off the arena floor with DiBiase breathing a sigh of relief and climbing back in the ring under the bottom rope. The refís count reaches five and Takerís in danger of getting counted out.

He manages to claw his way up on to all fours and drags himself closer to the apron and reaches up to grab hold of it with DiBiase watching intently, hoping & praying his rival doesnít make it back in, but he does, just! The youngsterís on him in a flash though and stomps all over the veteran, putting the boots to the phenom with Maryse shouting on, encouraging DiBiase as he drops to his knees and hammers away at Takerís head.

He pummels him furiously with a flurry of right hands, showing some real aggression with Taker defenceless on the mat. Ted lets up but not for long, pulling Taker away from the ropes by his feet and heading to the second rope. Eyes firmly fixed with intent on his opponent, Ted Jr steps off the ropes and connects with a delayed falling fist drop to the head. DiBiase doesnít mess about, shifting round on the canvas to hook Takerís leg, going for the cover. . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

The dead-man gets his shoulder up, not going down well with the very focused youngster. Ted clearly believes heís in with a shout as he sits up and then stands up, staring down at his squirming opponent. DiBiase steps back and waits with intent as Taker pulls himself back up to his feet. DiBiase runs past him in to the ropes behind the dead-man, bounces off and comes back to knock Taker down to his knees again with a clothesline. Takerís right back up though and DiBiase grabs him by the wrist, looking to send him in to the corner.

Taker reverses it though and itís DiBiase whose back hits the pads to a slight pop. The Undertaker takes a quick breath before running in at him, but no. DiBiase comes back at him and lifts his boot up in to his opponentís face, sending Taker staggering away from the corner. Ted doesnít mess about and pulls himself up to the second rope, and as Taker turns back round to face the corner, DiBiase dives off to take the phenom off his feet with a double foot stomp to the chest. Again he scurries across on his knees to make the cover as the ref drops to his to make the count. . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

No! Taker kicks out again to leave DiBiase frustrated. DiBiase isnít happy at all and stands up in a huff, watching closely as The Undertaker gets to his knees. Ted shifts behind him and lifts his own arms up, seemingly stalking his opponent for the Million Dollar Dream. The fans realise the danger their favourite could be in, not that he has a clue as he unwittingly makes it up to his feet.

Ted jumps on him and tries to apply the deadly submission hold. Taker doesnít let him though and slips behind him to put him in a sleeper, but wait! DiBiase escapes this time, turning behind Taker to take him down with a NECKBREAKER! DiBiase thinks he has it wrapped up and hooks the leg for the cover. . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

NO! Again The Undertaker kicks out, living to fight another day to the complete dismay of DiBiase. He canít believe it as he sits up and looks over at the ref, wondering what itís going to take to put Taker away. The phenom is already moving, making matters worse for DiBiase, whoís thrust in to action. He stands up and tries to bring his opponent with him, pulling him up to his knees before turning back to run the ropes. As he comes running back, Taker comes to life, catching him by surprise to lift him up off his feet and plant him with a SIDEWALK SLAM!!. . . . . For the first time in a while the fans are cheering as DiBiaseís back is driven with force in to the mat. Taker looks to take advantage, hooking the leg as the fans count out loud with the ref making the count. . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

No, shoulder up from DiBiase. The young upstart shows some resilience, but Taker goes right back to work. He makes his way back up to a vertical base and reaches down to bring Ted up with him, firing him in to the corner. DiBiase hits the pads and Taker comes charging at him in a flash, but Ted steps out and to the side to see Taker run right in to the pads. The phenom staggers round but Ted is right on him, hammering him with a couple of right hands and then steps on to the second rope where he continues to pummel him with more hard right hands to the skull.

DiBiase smirks in to the crowd, getting some heat from the fans as he half gloats, but heís in for a shock as Taker comes to life. He grabs Ted by the tights and lifts him up in the air to a massive pop with Maryse panicking big time on the outside as she looks on to see Taker walking out of the corner with DiBiase high above his head. The fans are cheering like mad as Taker slams DiBiase in to the mat with the LAST RIDE!!!. . . . . DiBiase is down & out with the fans continuing to cheer and Maryse can only look on as Taker drops to his knees to hook the leg with the fans again counting in tandem with refís count. . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . .

NO! DiBiase just about gets his shoulder up to the shock of the fans and the relief of Maryse and the emotionless figure of Ezekiel Jackson. Even the phenom looks somewhat surprised by Tedís resilience to kick out of that one. He doesnít show any remorse though and stands back up, raising his right hand up in the air, getting ready it would seem for a chokeslam. Again the fans cheer and Maryse panics in a big way, this time jumping up on to the apron.

She quickly catches the attention of the referee who makes his way over to her and tells her to get down as Taker stays where he is and focuses on DiBiase as he claws his way up to his knees. Taker walks closer towards him as he gets ready to pounce, but with the refís back turned, DiBiase rises up on his knees and low blows his opponent to a ton of heat. The fansí boos echo round the arena as Taker falls to the mat. Maryse steps down, a lot calmer now as the ref turns around, slightly surprised to see Taker down on the mat.

DiBiase though is still in a bad way with the effects of the Last Ride. As he makes it back up to his feet, Taker is trying to join him, pulling himself up to his knees. Ted tries to give him a helping hand but soon regrets it as Taker reverses an irish whip. DiBiase though hits the ropes and holds on to them, smirking at Taker in the process. The dead-man doesnít appreciate it one bit and runs at him, but right in to a raised elbow from DiBiase.

It sends Taker staggering away from the ropes, and Tedís got a look of determination on his face, and as Taker turns round, he runs at him looking to hit him with a clothesline. Taker ducks it though and DiBiase nails the referee, putting the ref down. Ted looks stunned and gazes down at the ref, but the phenom is focused firmly on his opponent. Ted slowly turns round and Taker grabs him around the throat to a huge roar from the Toronto crowd. Ted canít fight back this time and The Undertaker plants him with a ferocious CHOKESLAM!!!. . . . .

The dead-man drops to his knees and goes for the cover, then realises thereís no one there to make the count. He leans back on his knees, not too happy but then calmly stands back up with DiBiase barely moving, lifting his head up off the mat with his eyes all over the place. Heís in seriously bad shape, and Maryse knows it. She walks round on the floor and climbs up on to the apron again, shouting over at The Undertaker, hoping to get his attention. She does, and this time heís not impressed. With the ref down, the dead-man menacingly walks in her direction to a big pop.

She shows no fear and hurls insults at the dangerous veteran. The dead-man looks at her right in the eye, staring straight in to her soul and unsettling her, big time. She realises the danger sheís in, but Jackson slips in to the ring behind them to a ton of heat. The phenom realises somethingís up and turns round to see DiBiaseís rookie running at him and steps out in to a thunderous clothesline. The equally menacing Jackson drags him right back up and in to position for the Book of Ezekiel, a urinage and sends Taker crashing in to the canvas.

The boos are deafening and they ring round the arena and Jacksonís work isnít done as he grabs his groggy mentor by the arm and drags him over on top of The Undertaker who isnít moving at all. One man who is though is the referee, coming to life as Jackson leaves the ring. The ref turns round and sees DiBiase on top of Taker, then drags himself across the mat, albeit slowly and makes the count, again slowly, still dazed as his hand comes down on to the mat. . . .

1. . . . .

. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . .

. . . . . 3?

NO! Taker gets his shoulder up to a massive pop inside the Air Canada Center! Maryse canít believe it and drives her hands in to the apron with Jackson shaking his head ever so slightly. Ted lifts his head up and looks over in desperation at the referee, only to see the ref signal the count of two. DiBiaseís gutted and doesnít know how to react. Maryse gets his attention and shouts out some much needed encouragement, and he gets back on track. He drags himself up to his feet, and by the time he gets back up, Taker too is trying to do the same.

DiBiase stares down at him, eyes fixed firmly on his rival. As Taker makes it back up, DiBiase shifts round behind him and grabs his arms, locking in THE MILLION DOLLAR DREAM!!!. . . . . Heís got it locked in this time and Taker tries to escape the hold, but canít. Maryse gets right behind her man as Ted does everything he can to finish the job, and it looks like Takerís faltering, his head dropping. The fans try to turn it around for him, shouting his name to the frustration of DiBiase, but it works. Taker comes fighting back, his head rising as DiBiase holds on for dear life.

Itís not enough though as Taker overpowers the grip to free his arms. The fans are going nuts again as Taker blocks a desperate right hand to connect with one of his own and then a headbutt to put Ted on his knees. Taker helps him back up and turns back to run the ropes, comes running back at the groggy DiBiase, but Ted throws a wild right at him. Ted misses and Taker runs through to come back this time with a flying clothesline to another big cheer. Both men pick themselves back up with the fans still cheering.

DiBiaseís reeling as Taker looks to keep the momentum going, scooping him off the mat and over his shoulder. He heads to the corner and drops DiBiase by his head on to the top turnbuckle. DiBiaseís in dreamland as Taker turns back in to the ropes, bouncing off them to come racing back and drive his massive boot down Tedís throat. Again the fans cheer the phenom whoís well in control right now with the ref, back on his feet shakes off his cobwebs. Taker steps back and pulls down the straps as the starry eyed DiBiase tries to pull himself back up to his feet.

Maryse & Jackson look on, Maryse worrying big time, and Taker lifts his right hand up, getting ready for a chokeslam. DiBiase manages to make it back up, unaware of whatís waiting for him and Taker makes his move. He steps forward and grabs his opponent by the throat to a big pop, then turns around away from the corner to plant his rival with the CHOKESLAM!!!. . . . . It looks all over but Taker doesnít go for a cover and instead brings his arm across his throat, signalling that the end is near!

DiBiase isnít moving and Maryse can only look on helplessly as Taker reaches down to drag him the dead weight body of his opponent up to his feet, scooping him up on to his shoulder for the TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER!!!. . . . . The end is in sight but Ted comes to life and wriggles around on Takerís back, sliding down to safety and react in a flash to send the phenom to DREAM STREET!!!. . . . . DiBiase just connected with his finisher and Taker looks out for count. Still groggy but full of hope, DiBiase hurries to turn Taker over on to his back and make a cover for the ref to count the fall. . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . .

. . . . . 3?

NO!

The Undertaker gets his shoulder up to an enormous roar that makes its way through the whole crowd with DiBiase staring at the ref in absolute shock. Maryse canít believe it, leaning against the ropes with her head in her hands. Ted blames the ref and tries to convince him it was three, maybe even convince himself, but to his horror, Taker sits back up and grabs him by the throat to another massive pop. Maryse looks stunned and Jackson jumps up on to the apron as Taker stands up and shoves Ted down to the mat before running at Jackson to knock him off the apron with a big boot.

Taker turns round and sees Ted getting back up, and again signals for the end. He walks across and scoops him off his feet and in to position for the TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER!!!. . . . . Itís deafening inside the Air Canada Center as Taker turns round to face the camera and drops to his knees, drilling DiBiaseís head in to the mat to an enormous roar. Tedís body falls back and down to the mat as Taker crosses his arms for the cover. . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . .

. . . . . 3!

DING DING DING!

ďRest in PeaceĒ plays with the fans still cheering as Taker leans back on to his knees with Maryse not happy. Taker glares across at her and the lights go out with some purple & white spotlights shining down on the ring as Taker poses for the fans on one knee.

Winner: The Undertaker by pinfall.

Josh Matthews
is standing by outside one of the locker rooms.

Josh Matthews: Iím outside the locker room of John Cena and Iím hoping to speak with him ahead of tínightís main event where heíll be looking to win a shot at C-M Punkís World Heavyweight Championship at Night of Champions should he lead his team tí victíry later on against Team Punk.

Josh turns round and knocks on the door, waiting patiently for a response. It doesnít take too long as John Cena opens the door, a very serious looking John Cena as he looks at Josh.

John Cena: What can I do fíya Josh?

Josh Matthews: I was just hoping to get a quick word from you about your match tínight if thatís alright?

John Cena: Sure but make it quick.

Cena turns his head round, looking back inside.

John Cena: I wonít be long fellas.

Cena steps outside and lets the door close behind him.

John Cena: Go ahead Josh.

Josh Matthews: Well I wanna start off talking about what many people are talking about since Friday night on Smackdown where C-M Punk spoke quite frankly it has tí be said, saying some very strong things about you. I waníed tí get your response to those comments aní ask if itís made you feel any diffírently about the match tínight?

John Cena: I said I was gonna make it quick aní I am, so here it is. The way I see it is evíryoneís entitled tí their opinion. Punk can say whatever he wants, it donít mean I have to agree with it but thatís what he thinks, aní hell, a lot oípeople feel the same way he does. If I let it bother me Josh, I wouldnít still be here. I just get on with my business like Iím going to tínight. All Iím thinkiní about is leading my team in there tí victíry later on tí get a shot at Punkís world title come Night of Champions. Thatís all that matters right now Josh, aní if that happens, Iíll deal with Punk. . . trust me, aní letís just say I wonít be waitiní fí Night of Champions.

Josh Matthews: Also, I quickly wanna get your thoughts on what happened earlier tí Christian aní the news that Edge wonít. . .

John Cena: . . . Makes no diffírence. Four on four, five on five, ten against ten, itís the same thing Josh. All we can do is win, aní weíre gonna give it our best shot tí do just that.

Josh Matthews: Alright, thanks John. Good luck.

John Cena: No worries man.

Cena heads back inside the locker room.

Josh Matthews: In case youíre just tuning in, tínightís match between Team Cena aní Team Punk will now be four on four, as earlier tíday, Christian aní Edge were involved in an altercation in the parking lot which led to Christian being taken to a local medical facility here in Toronto. We later received word that Christian has suffered an injury to his back that will keep him out of action for tínight at the very least aní maybe for the rest of the year too. Smackdownís General Manager Tazz then not so long ago removed Edge from the match later on, telling him to leave the building which he has. It seems that thereíll be no end to the controversy since John Cenaís arrival on Smackdown, but ultimately it all comes down to the elimination match later on thatíll decide whether or not John Cena will or will not earn a title shot against C-M Punk for Night of Champions. Thereís already been some action between those teams tínight but thereís more tí come later on. For now though itís back tí ringside.

*Match #3*

Team Raw (Sheamus (cpt), John Morrison, Carlito, Cody Rhodes & Joe Hennig) w/Eddie Colon & Melina
vs. Team Smackdown (M.V.P. (cpt), Ron Killings, Paul London, Brian Kendrick & Santino Marella)

Spoiler for Elimination Recaps:

Cody was on top of Santino and went looking to drop a pointed knee down on to the Italian, only for the plucky Marella to roll to the side and dodge the bullet. The crowd got behind Santino as he stood up along with Rhodes and took him straight back down after an STO. He could only get a two count though, but Cody stayed down on the mat as Santino went up high, up to the top rope, looking to hit a diving headbutt. Rhodes though rolled to safety this time, and as they both picked themselves back up, Cody connected with a springboard kick to the Italianís head. It was enough for a three count and eliminate Santino, giving Team Raw the early advantage.

Elimination #1: Santino Marella by Cody Rhodes

Team Smackdown came fighting back, mainly through the temporarily reunited team of London & Kendrick. The latter was on fire and seemed destined to eliminate Hennig with the Sliced Bread, only the son of Mr. Perfect managed to throw him down to the mat after Kendrick had run up the ropes. It gave Hennig the chance to further increase his teamís advantage, and as Kendrick made his way back up to his feet, Hennig was ready to strike. He ran right at him, but Kendrick caught him out of nowhere with one hell of a super kick to level the scores.

Elimination #2: Joe Hennig by Brian Kendrick

Smackdownís team had gained some serious momentum, and just as it looked like they were about to turn their numbers in their favour, Morrison managed to get his shoulder up after a suplex dropped in to a cutter by the fired-up Killings. The Truth took it on the chin though, going right back to work and sizing the weary Monday Night Delight up for the scissor kick. As he backed off the ropes and came back looking to finish JoMo off, Morrison ducked it and reacted immediately to run the ropes and level Killings with a springboard enzuigiri.

Morrison turned the tide in his teamís favour and went up to the summit with the crowd cheering, expecting to see Starship Pain. Unfortunately for Team Raw & Morrison, that didnít happen and Killings lifted his knees up in to Morrisonís stomach, reaching up straight away before Morrison had the chance to hit the mat, rolling him in to an inside cradle to pick up another victim, a second straight for Tazzís team.

Elimination #3: John Morrison by Ron Killings

Sheamus was furious at seeing his team faltering but it was his rival, Carlito who went looking to even it up, and he nearly did until Killings countered a springboard back elbow attempt to tag in London. The high flyer looked impressive like Kendrick and put Rawís native Caribbean superstar on the back foot. Sheamusís mood wasnít getting any better until London missed a missile dropkick with Carlito looking to hit the Backstabber straight away.

London held on to the ropes though as Carlito hit the deck, and Sheamus could only look on as London rolled under the bottom rope before hitting a slingshot sunset flip. Carlito kicked out at two, much to the relief of Sheamus & Cody who saw London & Carlito rush back up to their feet where London exploded with a super kick to put Carlito flat on his back. He didnít go for a cover and opted to drag him towards the corner, going all the way to the top rope for a Shooting Star Press.

Carlito though rolled to the ropes and dodged it as London crash landed on his chest, looking in some serious pain. It gave Carlito the chance to crawl over to his corner and tag in his rival come team captain, and The Celtic Warrior wasted no time in stepping in to the action. He was in one foul mood and urged the struggling London to stand back up, and as he did, the Intercontinental Champion flew out of his teamís corner and took Londonís head off with the deadly Brogue Kick to once again level things up.

Elimination #4: Paul London by Sheamus

Cody & Kendrick were going at it, both giving it their all and getting the crowd involved. Cody fought his way in to the ascendency, but as he came off the ropes looking to connect with a bulldog, Kendrick pulled back and Cody ran right in to the turnbuckle pads. The crowd were enjoying that, and as Cody turned round and walked away from the corner, still feeling the effects, Kendrick leapt up in to the air for a hurricanrana.

The fans were really getting behind Kendrick now, and he was feeling the momentum big time. He wasted no time in pulling Cody up from his knees, setting him up for the Sliced Bread. He didnít waste a single second and ran right in to the corner, ran up the ropes and sent Codyís head right in to the canvas, securing a third elimination for Team Smackdown to the delight of the Toronto crowd.

Elimination #5: Cody Rhodes by Brian Kendrick

Closing Minutes:
Sheamus is bang up for this and M.V.P. sure knows it as he claws his way back up, not knowing what suffering is waiting for him as he does so. The Celtic Warrior stares over at him from the opposite side of the ring, ready it would seem to take his head off with the BROGUE KICK!!!. . . . . M.V.P. turns round, totally unaware of the incoming Irishman but ducks his head, only just as the stunned Sheamus puts the brakes on. The Raw captain turns round in a flash in to a quick stomp to the gut and a SNAP DDT FROM HIS OPPOSITION CAPTAIN!!. . . . . The fans are cheering as M.V.P. turns him over and hooks the legs quickly to make a cover on the Intercontinental Champion. . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . .

NO! Sheamus gets his shoulder up! M.V.P. sits up looking disappointed but quickly shrugs it off and makes his way back up with Sheamus sitting up, looking a little frosty it has to be said, trying to shake away the cobwebs. Smackdownís Franchise Player is ready & waiting for him, urging him up and he canít wait any longer. He gives the Irishman a helping hand and whips him in to the corner, following right in for the PLAYAíS BOOT!!!. . . . . Sheamus looks like heís on dream street as he follows M.V.P. out of the corner, walking right in to his path as Smackdownís captain steps back from the ropes.

He takes full advantage of Sheamus being in a spin and pulls him in to place for THE PLAYMAKER!!!. . . . . Thereís a big pop breaking out in the stands as M.V.P. smirks in to the crowd, but Sheamus slips to safety, pulling back as M.V.P. drives forward. Porter looks stunned and turns round in a flash, right in to Sheamusís clutches and a SIDE-SLAM BACKBREAKER!!. . . . . That had to hurt, and judging by M.V.P. rolling around on the mat, it would seem so.

Sheamus doesnít care though and looks down at him without a care in the world, backing towards the corner, keeping his eyes firmly fixed on his opposition captain. M.V.P. struggles back up to his feet holding his back as he does so, and with Killings & Kendrick looking concerned on the apron, he turns round to see The Celtic Warrior surging across the mat to NAIL HIM WITH THE BROGUE KICK!!!. . . . . M.V.P. falls to the canvas and the extremely focused Raw captain drops to his knees immediately to cover him. . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . .

. . . . . 3!

Elimination #6: M.V.P. by Sheamus

Sheamus slowly stands back up as M.V.P. rolls towards the ropes, but the Irishman doesnít see Kendrick flying through the ropes. He turns round and sees Kendrick charging right at him, connecting with a dropkick to the chest that puts the Intercontinental Champion down on one knee. With the crowd willing him on, Kendrick turns back and runs the ropes, coming back off them to hit another dropkick, RIGHT TO THE FACE OF THE KNEELING RAW CAPTAIN!!. . . . . Sheamus falls back to the mat and Kendrick jumps right on top of him, desperately covering the floored Irishman. . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . .

NO! Sheamus kicks out! Kendrick takes it on the chin and is back up in a flash, heading straight to the apron and climbs to the summit as his opponent picks himself back up. Sheamus looks a bit rattled and turns round in to a MISSILE DROPKICK FROM KENDRICK!!. . . . . Sheamus is down again and the crowd are getting right behind Kendrick with a big cheer making its way round the Air Canada Center. Sheamus though isnít down for long, but Kendrick is on him as soon as he gets up, stomping him in the gut and grabbing his head to set him up for SLICED BREAD!!!. . . . .

Itís getting seriously loud in here as Killings looks on, urging his partner on, and the pumped-up Kendrick runs in to the corner again looking to finish off Rawís captain. The Intercontinental Champion isnít done yet though and throws Kendrick forward as he comes back off the ropes, sending him crashing in to the mat. Sheamus glares at Kendrick like he was his lunch as the cruiserweight claws his way up to his knees, and it looks like he could be in serious danger.

The Celtic Warrior motions for him to get up, and as he does, he runs right at him FOR THE BROGUE KICK!!!. . . . . NO, KENDRICK DUCKS IT AND LANDS A SUPER KICK ON SHEAMUSíS CHIN!!!. . . . . The crowd canít believe it and Sheamus falls flat on his back with the tired Kendrick coming down on top of him to hook his leg and make a cover. . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . .

. . . . . 3?

NO!

Sighs of disappointment come from the stands as Sheamus just manages to get his shoulder up to the shock & disappointment of Kendrick as well as Killings on the apron. He thought his partner had it, and even Carlito looks stunned. Kendrick makes his way back up and heads over to his corner to tag in The Truth. Killings hits the ring and helps the dazed Irishman up from his knees to send him in to the ropes, but wait, Sheamus reverses it. Killings hits the ropes at speed but comes sliding back through Sheamusís legs.

Sheamus is shocked and turns round as Killings jumps up to his feet to duck a wild right from the Intercontinental Champion, grabbing him around the waist and HITTING A GERMAN SUPLEX!!. . . . . Sheamusís back hits the mat but like Killings, he makes his way back up with Killings looking determined to put the dangerous Irishman away. He stomps him in the gut and back pedals in to the ropes, comes back looking for the SCISSOR KICK!!. . . . . Sheamus pulls back though and Carlito reaches over the top to slap his rival & partnerís back, much to the surprise of Sheamus as he watches the Puerto Rican jump over the top rope.

Killings doesnít see it as he turns round with Carlito charging at him to nail him with a RUNNING KNEE LIFT TO THE SIDE OF THE HEAD!!. . . . . Carlito runs through off the ropes and comes back, taking Killings down with a clothesline. Sheamus doesnít look too happy as he steps back through the ropes, staring right at his rival, who stares back at him with The Truth at his feet. Carlito turns his attention back to his opponent and runs in to the ropes and HITS A SPRINGBOARD MOONSAULT!!. . . . . He hits it perfectly and lands on top of his opponent, reaching to the side to hook the Smackdown superstarís leg for the cover. . . . .

Carlito urges him to get up, and The Truth makes it up to his feet, the Puerto Rican slips behind him and pulls back for THE BACKSTABBER!!!. . . . . Killings stands firm though and Carlito hits the deck with Sheamus not happy at all as he watches on.

The Truth turns round and Carlito picks himself back up, right up in to a kick to the gut from Killings who follows it up with the TRUTH CONVICTION (SIT-OUT INVERTED SUPLEX SLAM)!!!. . . . . Carlito looks like heís out as Killings rushes to make the cover, turning the Puerto Rican over on to his back with the ref dropping to his knees to make the count. . . . .

Elimination #7: Carlito by Ron Killings

The Celtic Warrior races back in to the ring as Killings makes his way back up, unaware that Sheamus is already in, and as he turns round, the Irishman sends him down to the mat with a ferocious clothesline that turns Killings inside out. Sheamus wastes no time in dragging him back up, setting him up between his legs for the HIGH CROSS!!!. . . . .

The fans boo as Sheamus takes the time to stare across at Kendrick, but as he lifts The Truth up above his head, Killings slips to safety and jumps down, landing on his feet. Sheamus is stunned and turns round in to a JUMPING HEEL KICK ENZUIGIRI!!!. . . . . The Intercontinental Championís legs fall from under him as he hits the deck. The Truth senses he has the victory sewn up and scurries across the mat on his hands & knees to hook Rawís out cold captainís leg for the cover. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . .

Killings leans back looking ever so slightly frustrated, but as he turns his head he sees Kendrick calling for the tag. Sheamus powers out and both men pick themselves back up and Kendrick nails him with a DROPSAULT!. . . . . The big man goes down to a pop from the Canadian crowd and Kendrick flies back up, running to the corner with Sheamus making his way back up. He turns round and walks in to the corner as Kendrick, with his back to him, leaps up in to the air, coming down on to Sheamus for an ASAI MOONSAULT!!!. . . . . Kendrick forces him down and holds on to the Irishmanís legs for another cover. . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . .

. . . . . 3?

NO!

Again Sheamus kicks out, but Kendrickís not letting it bother him one bit and wastes no time in rushing back up to his feet. The rattled Raw captain follows him, looking a bit shaky, and Kendrick looks to take full advantage by stomping him in the gut. He grabs Sheamus by the head and pulls it under his arm, then runs in to the corner, runs up the ropes and DRILLS THE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION WITH THE CYCLONE DDT!!!. . . . . Sheamus is flat on his back, not moving a muscle as Kendrick desperately shimmies round to hook both legs for another cover with the fans counting along with the ref. . . . .

Kendrick leans back, wondering what heís got to do to put Sheamus away. The Celtic Warrior starts to stir, and with Killings willing him on, Kendrick jumps back up to his feet and urges Sheamus to do the same. Heís looking even shakier on his feet, and Kendrick sets about finishing the job, stomping him in the gut as he gets to his knees. Elimination #8: Brian Kendrick by Sheamus

And then there were two! Killings stares over at Sheamus before stepping through the ropes with the Irishman staring right back as Kendrick is helped to the apron by the referee. Sheamus & Killings slowly walk towards each other and lock up in a collar & elbow tie-up. Sheamus gets the upper hand with cheering on The Truth, but itís Killings who gets shoved down to the mat. Sheamus stares down at him with a stern look, waiting for his opponent to get back up. Killings coolly returns to his feet, not showing any signs of being intimidated.

He takes his time getting back up but Sheamus goes right for him, hammering away at him with right hands and fires him in to the ropes. Sheamus ducks his head and Killings makes him pay with a swift kick to the kisser of The Celtic Warrior. That gets a big pop from the stands and Killings follows it up with a REVERSE STO!!. . . . . The fans are cheering again as Killings shifts round to make a cover, desperately hooking the Irishmanís leg for a cover. . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . .

. . . . . 3?

NO! Sheamus gets the shoulder up, denying Killings & Smackdown the win. The fans might be disappointed, but The Truthís not as he races back up to his feet and reaches down to bring Sheamus up with him. He tries to send the Intercontinental Champion in to the corner, but the groggy Raw captain reverses it to send Killings in to the pads. He doesnít hit them hard though, and as Sheamus runs in at him, he lifts his boot up in to the Irishmanís face, sending him staggering out of the corner.

The Truth pulls himself up to the second rope, and as Sheamus turns round, Killings leaps off the top for a DIVING CROSS BODY!!. . . . . OH DEAR, SHEAMUS CATCHES HIM AND TOSSES HIM BACK WITH A FALLAWAY SLAM!!. . . . . Killings hits the mat hard, and Sheamus makes his way back up with a look of serious intent on his face, turning round and glaring with fury at the squirming Killings. The Truth bravely pulls himself back up to his feet, but as he turns round, Sheamus STORMS ACROSS THE MAT FOR THE BROGUE KICK!!!. . . . .

NO, KILLINGS SIDESTEPS IT AND KICKS SHEAMUS IN THE GUT!!. . . . . The fans are going crazy as Killings backs up in to the ropes and comes back for the SCISSOR KICK!!!. . . . . SHEAMUS PULLS BACK THOUGH, SHOVES KILLINGS IN TO THE ROPES AND RUNS AT HIM, NAILING HIM WITH THE BROGUE KICK!!!. . . . . Itís got to be over! Killings is down and the lights are out. The menacing Raw captain drops to his knees and hooks both legs for the cover. . . . .

Elimination #9: Ron Killings by Sheamus

ďWritten In My FaceĒ hits and a smug Sheamus stands back up to get his arm raised, smirking in to the crowd as Team Raw is announced the winner. Heís passed his Intercontinental Championship and throws it over his shoulder, staring down at the flat out Killings. Sheamus takes great pleasure in it and throws both hands up in the air along with the Intercontinental title, getting a chorus of boos from the crowd. They only amuse him even more as he leaves the ring and laughs off the fans jeers, turning back to lift his title up again as Killings sits up, dazed and not sure whatís gone on as the camera goes back to the smiling Irishman.

Winners: Team Raw.

Survivor: Sheamus.

*Cut Backstage*

Weíre taken to the custom office/locker room of the General Managers as both Eric Bischoff & Tazz are sat on a leather sofa with Bischoff all smiles at Rawís victory.

Eric Bischoff: Unlucky my man, but Iíve gotta say, that was a bit too close fí comfort.

Tazz: Yeah I thought we had it won. That Sheamus is one damn tough cookie though, unfortunately fí us.

Eric Bischoff: He sure is. Heís got quite the future ahead of him. . .

We hear the door slam and a very anxious Mr. McMahon walks in to the room and Bischoff stands up.

Mr. McMahon: Bischoff.

Eric Bischoff: What? What the hell do you want barging in here like that?

Mr. McMahon: Donít pull that crap with me. The only reason Iím not in charge around here is because of some stupid technicality aní that money grabbing whore I married all those years ago.

Eric Bischoff: Regardless of our situation, that still doesnít answer my question. What dí you want?

Mr. McMahon: What do I want? Iíd have thought that was simple. I want you to put a stop tí this hell in a cell match tínight. You know full well Johnís not a hundred per cent. He shouldnít have tí fight tínight, let alone in hell in a cell with his career hanging by a thread. . .

Eric Bischoff: . . . Vince let me stop you there. We both know J-B-L agreed to the match aní signed a contract. Only Monday night he admitted he wasnít a hundred percent but he was going tí compete no matter what. Now as far as Iím aware heís not been certified unable to compete tínight right? As long as thatís the case thereís nothing I can do for yíVince.

Mr. McMahon: Nothing you can do, thatís what youíre saying?

Eric Bischoff: Itís not just what Iím saying Vince, itís the way it is.

Mr. McMahon: Donít get me started on the way it is Bischoff. The way things are around here are nothing short of disgraceful. Thereís no way you should be in charge. Evíryone knows about your special relationship with The Big Show aní how much youíd love tí get rid of the McMahons. Heís got rid of Shane, putting him in the hospital, then he did the same tí John aní he almost chokeslammed me off the stage two weeks ago yet you do nothing. You wonít be happy until heís done killing all of us but Iím not going tí stand around aní watch him do tí John what he did tí Shane. Iím not here asking you as Mister McMahon but as a father, man tí man. Please. . .

Eric Bischoff: . . . Look you know thereís nothing I can do. What do you think would happen if I pulled that match? The fans out there paid big money tí come here tínight knowing Big Show aní J-B-L were gonna meet inside hell in a cell with both their careers on the line. If they donít get tí see it, what do you think theyíd do? Then thereís the board. If it was any other match aní you were in charge, we both know youíd crucify me, so sorry Vince the match goes ahead.

Vince doesnít like it one bit but tries desperately to keep his composure.

Mr. McMahon: Fine, but if the worst happens tínight, itís on your head. You remember that.

Eric Bischoff: Whatever Vince. All I can suggest is you go support your son Ďcause heís gonna need it.

Vince just glares at Bischoff, raging inside but realises heís not going to get anywhere and leaves the room in a strop, slamming the door in the process, much to the amusement of Rawís Head of Authority who sits back down alongside Tazz.

Tazz: Playing with fire there arenít ya?

Eric Bischoff: Please, whatís he gonna do? Iím the one in charge around here, not him. Heís as much my bitch as J-B-L is Big Showís.

Bischoff & Tazz laugh away as the very relaxed Bischoff leans back on the sofa without a care in the world.

*Match #4*

World Tag Team Championship Ė Tournament Final
Team Omega (Matt Hardy & Gregory Helms) w/Shannon Moore
vs. Rey Mysterio & Mystico
vs. Christopher Daniels & Kaval

Closing Minutes:
Daniels & Mystico make their way back up, Daniels grabs him by the head and takes him down to the mat in a side headlock, holding him down there. Daniels holds on tight, keeping the Mexican rookie grounded. The fans start clapping, as does Rey, doing what they can to help him, and it works. Mystico slowly makes it up to one knee, pumping his right hand in the air to get some more encouragement. He does and he rises to his feet to shove Daniels in to the ropes.

Daniels holds on to them looking smug but Mystico runs right at him and clotheslines him over the top with momentum, taking himself over. The Mexican grabs on to the ropes though and pulls himself back over the top to a decent pop as Daniels hits the floor. The rookie has his sights set on Daniels as he pulls himself up on the outside, and Mystico turns back to run the ropes. He comes racing back across, jumps up on to the ropes and springboards for an ASAI MOONSAULT TO TAKE DANIELS BACK DOWN TO THE FLOOR!!. . . . .

Mystico joins him but heís up in a flash and the Canadian fans sure appreciate it. Heís not hanging round and drags Daniels up, then tosses him back in to the ring. Mystico climbs back up on the apron but walks over to the corner, climbing up to the top rope with Daniels sitting up. Kaval sees the danger his partnerís in and runs round the apron. Mystico sees him and turns his head, and the ref isnít happy with Kaval either, wandering across to get Kaval back in his corner with Mystico watching.

Daniels is back on his feet and rushes in to the corner, catching Mystico unaware with a shot to the gut and he falls in to a seated position. Daniels wastes no time and backs in to the pads, grabbing the Mexicanís arms and brings him crashing down to the mat with a FALL FROM GRACE!!. . . . . He holds on for a cover and the ref hurries across the mat to make the count. . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

Kick out by Mystico! Daniels isnít impressed but heís got his game face on and heads over to his partner on the apron to make the tag, bringing Kaval in to the action. He doesnít waste a second in getting in to the ring and goes right after the fallen Mexican, jumping right on him and pulling him in to place for the DRAGON CLUTCH!!. . . . . Mysticoís in trouble and Kaval doesnít let up with Rey showing some concern for his partner & rookie but gets behind him again, willing him on to break the hold. Itís not easy but the fanís encouragement gets to Kaval, starting to panic, and even more so as Mystico manages to pull himself up off the mat.

Slowly but surely, he makes it up to his feet but Kaval has the hold still locked in. Mystico though tries to break it and forces him back across the ring and in to the corner, finally breaking the hold. The fans cheer as Mystico walks away from the corner, and as he turns round, Kaval comes running out at him, and BOOM, RIGHT IN TO A SUPER KICK!!. . . . . Kaval hits the deck and Mystico drops to the mat to hook his legs for the cover. . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . .

NO! Kaval gets his shoulder up and Mystico sits up in initial disbelief as Kavalís eyes flicker ever so slightly. Mystico stands back up and tags his mentor & partner to a big cheer. Rey shifts across the apron, not getting in the ring just yet as Kaval pulls himself back up, looking as if he has a clue where he is. He makes it up, looking unsteady on his feet, and as he turns round, Mysterio explodes in to action with a SPRINGBOARD SEATED SENTON!!. . . . . The fans cheer as Kaval falls to the mat on his back with Rey on top of him, reaching his arms back to grab Kavalís legs for a cover. . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

Kaval kicks out but Reyís not wasting any time getting upset about it. Heís right back on his feet, and as Kaval struggles back up to his feet, Rey runs in to the ropes and hits another springboard, this time for a REVERSE CROSS BODY OFF THE SECOND ROPE!!. . . . . He lands again on Kaval and forces him down to the mat with the ref frantically rushing across to make the count. . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

Again Kaval kicks out and both men make their way back up with Rey jumping up on to his shoulders for a VICTORY ROLL!!. . . . . Rey hits it and holds on to Kavalís legs as the ref again drops to his knees to make a count. . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . . NO!

Kaval kicks out again, but still Rey shows no sign of frustration and hops back up to his feet. Kavalís not that far behind, showing some courage but clearly struggling. Rey helps him up from his knees and tries for an irish whip, but Kaval reverses it. Rey though comes racing back and counters with a TILT-A-WHIRL HEADSCISSORS TAKEDOWN AND THE MOMENTUM TAKES KAVAL ON TO THE MIDDLE ROPE TO A HUGE ROAR FROM THE CANADIAN FAITHFUL!!. . . . . Kavalís in dangerous territory as Rey dials up the 619 AREA CODE!!!. . . . .

Itís deafening inside the Air Canada Center as Rey runs back in to the ropes, races across the ring and swings through the ropes, but no! Kaval pulls his head back. Rey quickly tries to get back in the ring as Kaval stands up, turns to the side and runs the ropes, springboards and CONNECTS WITH THE TIDAL WAVE, A SPRINGBOARD ROUNDHOUSE KICK!!. . . . . Mysterioís clock has been well & truly cleaned as Kaval scampers across the canvas to make a cover. . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . .

NO! Rey gets his shoulder up to the relief of the cheering crowd, and Kaval canít believe it as he sits up holding his head in his hands. He slowly stands back up, still shocked he didnít get the win there, but Helms leans over the top rope and slaps Kavalís back, tagging himself in to the action. Kaval looks on in shock again as Helms climbs up to the top rope as Rey drags himself back up, shaky on his feet as the ref ushers the unhappy Kaval out of the ring. Helms is bursting on the top as he prepares to strike, and as Rey makes it back up, he dives off for a FROG SPLASH IN TO A DIVING CROSS BODY!!. . . . . He takes Rey down to the mat and reaches to the side, hooking his leg for a cover. . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

Rey kicks out and Helms picks himself back up in a hurry with Rey trying to do the same. Heís still groggy as he sits up with Helms backing up across the mat, sizing Rey up for THE SHINING WIZARD!!!. . . . . Helms goes to strike, racing at Rey, but Mysterio ducks it and Helms hits the mat. Helms isnít down for long though and tries to help Rey back up, but Mysterio reaches up and pulls him in to an INSIDE CRADLE!! . . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . .

NO! Helms this time kicks out as both men pick themselves back up as quickly as they can. Rey stomps Helms in the gut and turns back, runs the ropes but Helms nails him as he comes back with the KITCHEN SINK!!. . . . . Rey hits the deck again, sitting up winded and holding his stomach. Helms doesnít show his friend any mercy and pulls him right back up, under his arm for the NIGHTMARE ON HELMS STREET AND HITS IT, SENDING REY SPIRALLING FACE DOWN IN TO THE CANVAS!!!. . . . . Mysterioís out and Helms sees the finishing line as he hurries to turn Rey over on to his back and make the cover. . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . . 3?

Daniels storms the ring and stomps on Helmsí head, stopping the count and the ref is livid. He jumps up to his feet and gives the unapologetic Daniels an earful who simply strolls back to his corner with Helms & Rey both squirming on the mat. Theyíre both a bit dazed as they make it back up and Helms strikes the first blow with a stomp to the gut and whips him in to the ropes, right next to Daniels who discreetly slaps Reyís back as he bounces off them. Helms hasnít seen it and connects with a standing dropkick on Mysterio, falling to the mat with him, but as he gets back up, Daniels is in the ring and charges at him, levelling him with a RUNNING ENZIGUIRI!!. . . . . Helms falls flat on his face and Daniels scurries across the canvas on his hands & knees, turns him over and makes the cover. . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . .

NO!

Daniels looks stunned as Helms gets his shoulder up and glares over at the referee like heís made a mistake, but heís not and lets Daniels know it, signalling the two count. Heís pissed for everyone to see and stands up with a look that could kill. He drags Helms towards the corner and climbs up to the top rope, facing the crowd, bounces off the top rope and comes crashing down on Helmsí chest with the BEST MOONSAULT EVER!!!. . . . . Daniels is one intense son of a bitch and hooks the leg as the ref goes to make the count. . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . .

No, Helms again gets his shoulder up leaving Daniels stunned again. He leans back in shock, again staring at the ref. Heís not happy as he stands up and brings Helms up with him, firing him with force in to the opposite corner, then runs in and nails him with a JUMPING HIGH KNEE!. . . . . Daniels back pedals out of the corner and the shaky Helms staggers out right in to his opponentís grasp, who fiercely kicks him in the gut and pulls him in to place for the ANGELSí WINGS!!!. . . . . Daniels stops & stares intensely in to the crowd for a brief second, giving Helms the chance to counter, sweeping Danielsí legs and flipping forward for a JACK-KNIFE COVER!! . . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . .

Daniels kicks out to disappoint the crowd as he & Helms both pick themselves back up with Daniels up first, striking with a stiff kick. Helms slumps forward as Daniels turns to the side and runs the ropes, comes flying back and takes Helms down with a RUNNING NECKBREAKER!!. . . . . Helms is back on the mat and the focused Daniels again hooks the leg for the cover. . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . .

NO! Again Helms gets his shoulder up to leave Daniels furious. He stands up with a face like thunder and walks over to his corner to tag Kaval back in to the match. Kaval though climbs up to the top rope with Helms still down & out on the mat, barely moving. Danielsí partner has his sights set on finishing the contest and jumps off the rope for the WARRIORíS WAY!!!. . . . . Helms rolls to the side though and Kavalís feet hit the mat.

Heís right on Helms though and pulls him up from his knees to send him crashing in to the turnbuckle pads, right by Matt who slaps his partnerís shoulder. Kaval has to switch gears and runs right at Hardy as he enters the ring, but Hardy ducks a clothesline and nails him with a right hand and another. The fans cheer as Matt fires Kaval in to the opposite corner and charges right at him, nailing him with a hard clothesline. He holds on to the Kavalís head and turns round, runs out of the corner and plants him with a bulldog to a big pop.

Momentumís shifting in Matt & Helmsí favour and Matt makes his way back up, going right back to the corner. He pulls himself up to the second rope with Kaval motionless in front of him, and with the fans cheering again, Matt lets out a roar and steps off the ropes for a DIVING LEG DROP!!. . . . . The fans are well behind Hardy as he shimmies round on the mat and turns Kaval over and hooks both legs for the cover. . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . .

NO! Kaval gets his shoulder up to the relief of Daniels on the apron who shouts out some encouragement to his partner. Mattís full of momentum now, getting right back up on his feet and urging the squirming Kaval to get up too. Kaval struggles back up and turns round in to Mattís path, and Hardy grabs him around the upper torso in a flash and plants him with the SIDE EFFECT!!. . . . . The crowd are cheering in their numbers again as Matt stands up and stalks Kaval, sizing him up for the TWIST OF FATE!!!. . . . .

Daniels looks worried, big time as his partner claws his way up to his knees, struggling to make it up. He panics and storms the ring, gunning for Matt but the ref blocks him off, stepping in front of Matt and yelling at Daniels to get out of the ring. Heís not going anywhere and gets in to it with the ref as Matt tells him to do the same. Kaval is back up, and as Daniels steps back on the apron, Matt turns round and sees Kaval is back up.

He runs at him and Kaval leans back, matrix like and snaps back up, both men turning round in a flash and Kaval nails him with an almighty stiff kick to the gut, and another to put Matt on his knees. Kavalís not done there and levels him with a one hell of a ROUNDHOUSE KICK, COMPLETING THE TRIPLE STRIKE!!!. . . . . Hardy falls back and Kaval is right down on top of him to make the cover. . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . .

. . . . . NO!

Matt gets the shoulder up but only just to a big pop. Kaval canít believe it and drives his fists in to the canvas as Matt lifts his head up, lights are on but no oneís home. Kaval watches him attempt to get back up and back pedals in to the ropes, getting his back slapped by Mysterio, making him the legal man instead. Kaval turns round and doesnít like it, getting in to it with Rey as he steps through the ropes.

They go at it and start shoving each other. The ref interjects, stepping between them both and seeing Kaval back to his corner. Rey watches him every step of the way, taking his eye off Matt whoís back on his feet and walks up behind him to grab him by the head, pulls him down and drills him with a REVERSE DDT!!. . . . . Reyís head is driven in to the canvas and Matt shifts round to hook Reyís leg with the ref turning round and racing across to count Reyís shoulders. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . .

. . . . . NO!

Mysterio gets his shoulder up to a big pop from the Canadian crowd. Matt stands back up and tracks back to his corner, tagging Helms back in. The other North Carolina native steps inside and stays in the corner, locking his eyes on Rey who tries to sit up. Helms is itching to get at him but stays calm, just. As Rey sits up, Helms sets off across the mat for the SHINING WIZARD!!!. . . . .

Rey sees it coming and ducks it, and as they both pick themselves back up, Helms reverses an irish whip to send Rey in to the ropes. Mysterio slides through and jumps back up, right on to Helmsí shoulders, twisting round on them for the MYSTERIO-RANA!!!. . . . . He hits it and holds on to Helmsí legs as the ref rushes across to make the count. . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . .

Kick out from Helms! Matt breathes a sigh of relief on the apron as both Rey & Helms race back up to their feet with Rey stepping back towards the ropes. Helms walks out towards him and in to a drop toe hold on to the middle rope. The crowd goes nuts as Rey dials it up one more time, but Daniels & Kaval see whatís coming up and fly through the ropes in to the ring. The ref blocks off Daniels but Kaval gets past him, but Matt cuts him off with a clothesline to put him down and follows it up with a TWIST OF A FATE!!!. . . . .

Daniels is furious and barges past the referee, but Mystico cuts him off with a stomp to the gut and a TORNADO DDT!!!. . . . . Daniels & Kaval are both sent rolling to the outside with Rey, Matt & Mystico watching them, and the Mexicans surprise their buddy by tossing him over the top rope together to another loud cheer from the crowd. Mystico watches him getting back up on the outside and walks over to the apron, grabs hold of the top rope and leaps off with a SLINGSHOT CORKSCREW CROSS BODY TO TAKE MATT DOWN!!!. . . . .

Rey looks on with a smile, but as he turns round, Helms is on his feet and charges right at him. Mysterio though back pedals and drop toe holds him on to the second rope again, setting off another big cheer in the Air Canada Center. Rey doesnít waste any time dialling up this time and runs the ropes, comes racing back across the ring, this time CONNECTING WITH THE 619!!!. . . . . Helms falls back to the mat as Rey steadies himself on the apron, jumps up on to the top rope and HITS A SPRINGBOARD SPLASH ON HELMS, REACHING ACROSS TO HOOK HIS LEG FOR THE COVER. . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . . 3!

MYSTERIO & MYSTICO ARE THE NEW WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS!!!

ďBooyaka 619Ē blasts out and the crowd erupts with joy as Mystico crawls back in the ring, embracing his ecstatic mentor & partner as the ref fetches their titles. Theyíre handed the gold and are announced as the new champions while getting their arms raised. Again they joyously embrace before heading to opposite corners to pose with their titles, lifting them up for the Canadian fans to see, still cheering as they switch corners with Daniels sitting up on the outside looking absolutely furious. Rey looks down at him and lifts the title up for Danielsí benefit, pointing to it to really rub it in.

The Mexican mentor & rookie duo step off the ropes and link up again as they leave the ring and head up the ramp, turning round to once again show off their titles as Daniels still looks on with fury. Matt sits up on the outside with Shannon Moore consoling him, both looking disappointed, as does Helms as he comes round in the ring, but itís all about the new champions as they pose with their titles on the stage one last time before walking to the back.

Winners: By pinfall, and the new World Tag Team Champions, Rey Mysterio & Mystico.

Todd Grisham
is standing by backstage at an interview set.

Todd Grisham: Ladies aní gentleman please welcome my guest at this time, the w-w-e champion, ĎThe Animalí Batista.

The camera zooms out and shows the WWE Champion, Batista standing a foot apart from Grisham in his ring gear and the title heíll defend later on draped over his left shoulder.

Todd Grisham: Later on tínight youíll be defending the w-w-e title against two men you know very well, Triple H aní Randy Orton in a triple threat match. Thereís been all kinds of problems between all three of you for a long time now, especially so in the last couple of months. Just how are you feeling going in to this match which some could say is arguably the toughest of your career tí date given the circumstances surrounding it?

Batista: Thereís no doubt Josh itís gonna be tough, but the fact is Iím ready for it, more so than any other match Iíve ever been in. I know how tough itís gonna be but I also know both Randy aní Huníer inside out. I know their strengths aní weaknesses, but they also know mine. This match though is way more than just a match. Itís gone way beyond that aní just the w-w-e title. . . fí them. Yeah itís personal aní I wanna beat the hell out oíboth of Ďem, but they wanna try aní prove somethiní. They wanna prove they were the best thing in Evolution too. Me, I donít care about that. Evolutionís in the past. They might think theyíre better than me but they found out Monday night Iím up fí the fight. Iím ready fí evírythiní theyíre gonna throw at me. They always underestimated me. . . always. They do that tínight, theyíre in serious trouble, Ďcause tínight Iím gonna win the match aní walk out still w-w-e cha. . .

Batistaís shocked as the camera zooms out to reveal ĎThe Gameí Triple H walk in to the shot and right in to The Animalís face. With Grisham looking extremely concerned, the two rivals just stare each other in the eye, The Game taking a deep breath in the process. Neither shows any fear as the incredibly intense Triple H steps back and then walk away with Batista watching him every step of the way.

*Match #5*

Hell in a Cell Ė Loser Leaves Town
The Big Show w/Justin Gabriel
vs. John ĎBradshawí Layfield w/Vince McMahon

Closing Minutes:
Showís taken charge and has to help the weary J.B.L. up from his knees, only to drive his massive head in to his opponentís, putting Mr. McMahonís son back on the canvas. Vince is one very worried looking father on the outside, and Show looks over, getting some satisfaction at seeing Vince suffer. The Worldís Largest Athlete back pedals in to the ropes, bounces off them and comes back to DROP HIS HUMUNGOUS LEG DOWN ON J.B.L.íS CHEST!!. . . . .

BUT NO, LAYFIELD ROLLS TO THE SIDE AND SHOW HITS THE MAT!. . . . . Vince shouts out some much needed encouragement to his battle scarred son who slowly crawls towards the corner as Show makes his way back up with Gabriel encouraging him outside the cell. Showís rookie watches on as J.B.L. uses the ropes to help him, standing back up in the corner, but as he turns round against the pads, the giant charges right at him.

Layfield panics and steps to the side as Showís giant frame hits the pads, and Show staggers back, giving J.B.L. the chance to take him down to the mat thanks to a SWINGING NECKBREAKER!!. . . . . Vince is excited for his son and shouts at him to cover him with Gabriel slightly concerned as he watches J.B.L. shimmy round and just about manage to lift one of Showís tree trunk legs up off the mat to make a cover. . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

NO! Show gets his shoulder up to a pop from the Canadian crowd, leaving the intense J.B.L. incredibly frustrated. He stares down at Show with a look of disgust before taking his time in standing back up and dropping a series of elbows in to the giantís chest, one rapid shot after another, much to Vinceís approval & satisfaction. Heís looking much calmer now, but the same canít be said for his son who taunts the former Corporation member, calling for him to stand up.

Show doesnít disappoint and makes it back up somewhat sluggishly in to a stern kick to the gut from J.B.L. who tries to pull the massive head under his arm for a DDT!!. . . . . Show doesnít let him and he shoves his opponent with force back in to the ropes, surprising J.B.L. who comes back at Show with the big man GRABBING HIM AROUND THE THROAT FOR A CHOKESLAM!!!. . . . .

The fans are loving it, cheering like crazy as Show stares right in to his rivalís eyes, but J.B.L. fights dirty as ever and pokes The Worldís Largest Athlete in the eye to escape the deadly hold. Vince breathes a massive sigh of relief outside satanís structure, and with Show slumped forward holding his face, J.B.L. takes full advantage to drill him with a SNAP DDT!!. . . . . Showís massive forehead just rebounded off the mat and J.B.L. turns him over in a frenzy and hooks the leg for the cover. . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . .

NO! Show just manages to get his shoulder up, not that J.B.L. looks all that surprised. He sits up and looks over at his dad before watching his opponent roll on to one side. J.B.L.ís eyes are fixed on Show, staring at him sadistically as he tries to make it back up to his feet. Layfield makes his own way up, stepping back from the groggy giant. J.B.L. looks like heís ready to explode and turns to the side and runs the ropes and comes racing back across the mat for THE CLOTHESLINE FROM HELL!!!. . . . . NO, SHOW DUCKS IT!. . . . .

The fans are cheering and the stunned J.B.L. puts the brake and turns round, RIGHT IN TO A HELLACIOUS CHOKESLAM!!!. . . . . The fans are going crazy but Layfield rolls to the ropes and towards the apron. Vince is still worried and he has every right to as the menacing seven foot plus monster coolly stands upright again with The Wrestling God just about showing signs of life. Show watches him as he lifts his head up, not having a clue as to where he is right now.

The Big Show gives him all the time in the world, his eyes locked firmly on his struggled opponent who grabs hold of the ropes. He uses them as he slowly pulls himself back up with his dad watching on with great concern, and as The American Hero makes it back up to his feet, Show goes after his man, running across the ring at him, but J.B.L. sees him coming and DUCKS DOWN HOLDING THE TOP ROPE TO SEND SHOW OVER THE TOP AND DOWN TO THE FLOOR!!. . . . .

Vince is enjoying that as his son dodges a big bullet, and he knows it as he gets his breath back on the inside, looking down at his fallen opponent. He calmly now rolls under the bottom rope to join Show on the floor as the big man tries to sit up. Thatís as far as he gets as J.B.L. grabs him by the head and grates it across the cell without remorse, and Vince walks round to get an up close & personal look as Show starts to bleed from the forehead.

Vince likes that and so does the sadistic J.B.L. as he lets go and smirks at the sight of Showís blood as he falls back to the floor. The former WWE Champion isnít done there though, not by a long shot and he stamps his boot down on Showís throat, choking the life out of the giant, and the referee canít do a damn thing about it. J.B.L. is getting the full approval of his father as Show tries to get the boot away from his throat but canít.

To the surprise of many, J.B.L. shows some compassion and lets go, only to look in to the crowd with a smug smile on his face, getting a whole host of boos thrown in his direction. They donít bother him in the slightest as Gabriel looks on worried for his mentor who sits up gasping for breath. Layfield goes walk about and takes a look under the apron, remerging with another smile on his face as he pulls out a kendo stick.

It gets a mixed reception from the crowd, but J.B.L. knows full well how he feels about it as he menacingly walks back towards The Big Show who struggles back up to his feet, turning right round in to a SHOT TO THE CHEST FROM THE KENDO STICK!!!. . . . . J.B.L. LETS LOOSE AND LASHES OUT WITH SHOT AFTER SHOT, PUTTING THE GIANT TO HIS KNEES AND NAILING HIM WITH ONE FINAL SICK SHOT TO THE ALREADY BLOODY SKULL OF THE SEVEN FOOT GIANT!!!. . . . .

Boos ring out as Vince applauds the sight of Show falling to the floor with J.B.L. standing over him with his arms aloft and the kendo stick in his right hand. The Wrestling God lets go of it as Show lifts his head up off the floor, clearly hurting, much to the amusement of the McMahon family. Gabriel fears the worst as he watches his mentor get up to his knees and crawls towards the steel steps, and that too satisfies The Wrestling God.

J.B.L. looks on smirking as Show leans against the steps, trying to pull himself up from his knees. Layfield then charges at him and DRIVES HIS BOOT AT SHOWíS HEAD BUT SHOW PULLS HIS HEAD BACK AND J.B.L. KICKS THE TOP STEP OFF THE BASE!!!. . . . . The fans cheer and along with the shocked Mr. McMahon, they can only look on as The Big Show spins him round, but J.B.L. KICKS HIM RIGHT IN THE NUTS AND DRILLS HIM WITH A DDT ON TO THE STEPS!!!. . . . .

Blood oozes out from Showís skull as a relieved J.B.L. sits up and looks down to see Show lying flat out with his head on the steps, and he sees the opportunity, the light at the end of the tunnel as he stands up and drags Show away from the steps to turn him over and go for a cover. The ref rushes down to make the count with Show not moving a muscle. . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . .

. . . . . 3?

NO!!!

The Big Show to the shock of J.B.L. & Vince gets his shoulder up, setting off a big pop in the stands. Gabriel punches the air and takes a deep breath as J.B.L. sits up in shock, not believing what heís seeing. The ref signals the two count, not making matters any easier for Layfield who sits there shaking his head in disbelief. He has no choice but to accept it and get back to work, and that he does. He stands up with a face like thunder to see the base of the steps right in front of him.

With Show coming round, The Wrestling God lifts the steel base up off the floor and balances them on the apron before shoving them inside. He too gets back in the ring and sets them up not too far away from the ropes as Show sits up, not having a clue of what J.B.L. has in mind for him when he gets up. The giant crawls over to the apron, eyes still all over the place with blood dripping past them as he drags himself on to the apron.

The intense J.B.L. doesnít hang around and goes right after him, dragging him back inside by the head, and Show canít put up the resistance to stop him. The fans & Gabriel look on nervously as J.B.L. pulls him in to place for another DDT ON TO THE STEEL!!!. . . . . J.B.L. takes one last look at his dad and smirks, but Vince is stunned as Show counters, lifting J.B.L. UP IN TO A BEARHUG!!. . . . . A BIG POP RINGS ROUND THE AIR CANADA CENTER AS SHOW TRIES TO SQUEEZE THE LIFE OUT OF THE WRESTLING GOD!!!. . . . .

Vince is in shock and J.B.L. panics, but soon drops to safety with an eye gauge, setting off another chorus of boos for the Texan as his feet land back on the canvas and CONNECTS WITH A REVERSE STO ON TO THE STEEL!!!. . . . . Showís got to be done! J.B.L. sure hopes so as he shimmies round in a hurry to cover Show, turning him over with his shoulders down on the steel. . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . .

. . . . . 3?

NO! Show gets his shoulder up again to a huge roar from the Toronto crowd! Vince canít believe it and turns around in disgust on the outside as J.B.L. sits up in shock again, this time with a look of absolute disbelief on his face, wondering what he has to do to put The Worldís Largest Athlete away. Gabriel nods his head and digs deep, believing in his mentor as the pissed J.B.L. stands up and kicks the steps to the side, right against the ropes. Again Show starts to stir with blood pouring from his skull, but he doesnít look all there at all, eyes all over the place.

Layfield stands over him, staring down furiously at him as the giant tries to make it up to his knees, using his opponentís body to help him. J.B.L. just watches him, letting him try and get back up, and just as he tries to steady himself, The American Hero turns back to run the ropes and comes storming back across, CONNECTING WITH THE CLOTHESLINE FROM HELL!!!. . . . . HE GOT ALL OF IT AND SENDS THE BIG SHOW RIGHT BACK DOWN IN A HEAP!!!. . . . . Vince thinks itís all over, and so does J.B.L. as he shifts round on the mat to hook the leg, going for another cover. . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . .

. . . . . 3?

NO!!!!!

My god, the arenaís in shock as Show gets his shoulder up again! Layfieldís pissed and drives his fists against the canvas with Vince kicking the security wall on the outside. Gabriel punches the air again as J.B.L. stands up and gets in the refís face, telling him it was three, but the ref stands up to him and makes it clear it wasnít. The big Texan has no choice but to accept the refís right and turns round to see his opponent sitting up, and that sets him off. He back tracks and taunts Show again, begging him to get up, and slowly he does.

Layfield has his sights set on him, ready to pounce, and as Show struggles back up once again, still shaky as hell on his feet, J.B.L. runs the ropes one more time, coming back for THE CLOTHESLINE FROM HELL!!!. . . . . NO, SHOW COUNTERS WITH A BIG BOOT TO THE FACE, PUTTING J.B.L. DOWN!!!. . . . . The fans cheer as Vince looks on like a worried man as Show drops to his knees, still in a bad way. He takes the time to shake off the cobwebs, and as he turns his head, still on his knees, he sees the steel by the ropes.

A light bulb goes off in his head and he looks in to the crowd, getting a cheer as they see what he has in mind. He slowly stands back up and walks towards them to a big pop with Vince looking like heís about to crap his pants. J.B.L. picks himself back up, unaware of what Showís got in mind. He picks them up and turns round to see his opponent back up, and as J.B.L. turns round, Show runs out of the corner AND DRIVES THE STEEL RIGHT IN TO THE TEXANíS FACE!!!. . . . . J.B.L. falls flat on his back and Show coolly drops the steel to the side and kneels down to hook Layfieldís leg with the fans cheering along with the refís count. . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . .

. . . . . 3?

. . . . . NO!

J.B.L., just & only just gets his shoulder up to the relief of Vince who looks like heís about to have a panic attack any minute. Show leans back on his knees almost impressed by his opponentís resilience, and the seven foot monster wipes away the blood before standing back up with The Wrestling God slowly coming round. Show looks right at Vince, smiling and points to his huge right fist, telling him itís time to knock his son out. Vince is livid and starts banging his hands against the cell, kicking it too, much to the amusement of the giant.

Show takes the time to walk over to the apron and steps over the ropes down to the floor. He looks Vince right in the eyes and tells him heís going to finish his son for good and thereís nothing he can do to stop him. Vince tells him heíll make him suffer, calling him a son of a bitch, but that too makes Show laugh. He doesnít have a care in the world as he turns his back on Vince and climbs back on to the apron with J.B.L. clawing his way back up.

He sees Show on the apron and reaches in to his tights to pull something out. It looks like brass knucks and he slips them on to his right hand, not that Show can see. Totally oblivious, Show walks towards his opponent and urges him to get up, and he does to NAIL SHOW RIGHT IN THE FACE WITH THE BRASS KNUCKS!!!. . . . . Show just falls flat on his back, much to Vinceís surprise and pleasure. Gabriel canít believe it and neither can the crowd as J.B.L. puts the knucks back in his trunks before dropping to his knees to make the count with the fans booing like mad. . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . .

. . . . . 3?

NO!

Once again The Big Show lifts his shoulder up, just hanging on to the fury of J.B.L. Vince canít believe it and turns around in disbelief on the outside as J.B.L. curses out loud, screaming ďwhatíve I gotta do?Ē He eventually stands back up and turns his head, looking in to the corner, and thatís where he heads. The big Texan rips off the top turnbuckle pad, and again Show doesnít have a clue as he comes round and tries to sit up.

Layfield leaves the ring again and looks under the apron, this time pulling out a steel chair to yet more heat from his not so adoring Canadian public. He slips back in the ring as Show tries to get his balance, still looking shaky as J.B.L. takes a long look at him before racing across at him with the chair raised above his head. Show turns round and sees him coming, runs out to meet J.B.L. AND RIPS HIM IN HALF WITH A SPEAR!!!. . . . .

Itís deafening inside the Air Canada Center as Vince looks on, completely shell shocked with Gabriel clapping. Both Show & J.B.L. look like wrecks as they drag themselves back up to their feet, and itís Show who strikes the first blow, stomping Layfield in the gut. He pulls J.B.L.ís head between his legs and lifts him up above his head, then back pedals in to the corner, TOSSING LAYFIELD BACK FOR A REVERSE THROWN POWERBOMB IN TO THE EXPOSED TURNBUCKLE!!!. . . . .

Huge cheers ring round the arena with some stunned faces shown in the crowd as J.B.L.ís head bluntly hit the exposed steel. Vinceís jawís dropped a good couple of inches as his son lies there flat out by the ropes with Show just realising the pad was removed. He smirks as he drops to his knees and makes the cover, hooking the near leg with the crowd counting out loud with the ref counting the fall. . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . .

. . . . . 3?

No, J.B.L. gets his foot on the rope to the shock of everyone in the arena as Vince again breathes a huge sigh of relief, patting his chest and shaking his head. Show sits up and almost laughs, then sees the steel base again. He makes his way back up and walks over to them, pulling them in to the middle of the ring. He then stops and looks to the side, smiling to himself before walking over to the apron and stepping through the ropes. The Worldís Largest Athlete takes a look under the ring and to a huge pop, PULLS OUT A TABLE!!!. . . . . Vince doesnít look happy about that at all, panicking big time as Show slides it in to the ring.

He climbs back in as J.B.L. comes round looking very groggy. Show picks the table up and walks over to the steel base, then sets the table up above it with the base underneath the centre of the table. J.B.L. though is crawling across the canvas on his hands & knees, fighting with everything he has to take hold of the steel chair. He crawls on top of it almost, disguising it so Show canít see it. Vince doesnít either and is almost crying as Show turns back to his opponent. He walks menacingly towards him, and just as he reaches down to pull him up, J.B.L. SWINGS THE CHAIR RIGHT IN TO THE BIG SHOWíS SKULL!!!. . . . .

It sends the giant staggering back, not enough to knock him down, but heís teetering towards the table. Layfield stands back up, struggling to do so but sees Showís on the brink. With Vince willing him on, J.B.L. TAKES ONE FEROCIOUS SWING OF THE CHAIR, BUT SHOW DUCKS IT AND GRABS J.B.L. BY THE THROAT!!!. . . . . THE FANS ARE GOING NUTS AND JUMP TO THEIR FEET AS J.B.L. DROPS THE CHAIR AND SHOW TURNS ROUND WITH HIM AT HIS MERCY, FACING THE TABLE!!!. . . . .

SHOW LIFTS HIM UP OFF HIS FEET AND SENDS HIM RIGHT THROUGH THE TABLE ON TO THE STEEL BASE WITH A CHOKESLAM ALL THE WAY FROM HELL!!!. . . . . Vince just stands there mouth wide open in shock, not taking it in with the fans going nuts as J.B.L. lies on top of the steel, flat out and completely helpless. The Big Show takes a look down with a sick smile on his face, enjoying seeing his rival down & out, and then shifts his way through the wreckage to make the all important cover. . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . .

. . . . . 3?

YES, ITíS ALL OVER! J.B.L.íS WWE CAREER IS OVER!

ďCrank It UpĒ hits to a massive roar inside the Air Canada Center with Vince still in utter disbelief, not taking it in as the bloody Show stands up to get his arm raised. Gabriel applauds his mentor on the outside and Show invites him in, and the ref on the outside obliges, opening the cell door to let the South African rookie inside. He hits the ring and slaps hands with Show before having a brief guy hug. Show walks over to the ropes in front of Vince and smirks down at him, and Vince is livid beyond belief.

Show loves it and poses for the fans in front of him, throwing his huge right hand up in to the air. He turns round and sees EMTís running down the ramp and in to the ring to check on J.B.L., and The Wrestling God still isnít moving. Show takes one last look with a smirk on his face and takes his leave with Gabriel, and as he leaves the cell, Vince walks round and he stares angrily at Show who hobbles slightly back up the ramp with Gabriel, turning back as Vince enters the cell to check on his son, still not moving.

Winner: The Big Show by pinfall.

*Cut Backstage*

Weíre back in Team Punkís locker room with Chris Jericho, Shelton Benjamin & Alberto Del Rio-Ramirez all sat on the bench with their captain, the World Heavyweight Champion, CM Punk pacing back & forth.

CM Punk: Look guys, thereís no need for us tí worry about this. Yeah weíre a man down aní Edge is a big time player, we know that, but weíve still got what we need tí win tínight in this room right now.

Jericho nods, looking at both Benjamin & Del Rio-Ramirez, as does Punk.

CM Punk: Just look at Chris. If Iím not mistaken, he was the first ever undisputed champion. You beat The Rock aní who was it in the same night?

Punk smirks, clearly joking, and even Jericho doesnít mind.

Chris Jericho: Very witty, however your point is right. Between us we have more than enough to be successful tínight. Simply put, we have tí be. We cannot allow John Cena to stroll over here all his way in to a shot at the world title he doesn. . .

Thereís a knock at the door, taking them all by surprise.

CM Punk: Oh great, what now? Come in.

To their shock, the door opens and Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley walks in and towards them, and she looks like she has some serious business in mind.

CM Punk: Wow, what an honour. What can we do for you Stephanie?

Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley: If you donít mind, Iíd like a word with you alone.

Steph turns round, asking the rest of the team to leave with her eyes, not that theyíre moving in a hurry.

CM Punk: Itís alright guys, you can say whatever you came to in front of them. I kind of get the feeling I know what you wanna talk tí me about anyway.

Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley: Well you can hardly be surprised after what you said on Friday night about John Cena. . .

CM Punk: . . . Look, some people mightíve seen it as controversial. . .

Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley: . . . Thereís no might about it Punk. You crossed the line in some of the things you said. . .

CM Punk: . . . Hold on. Is this a conversation I should be having with you know, my actual boss aní not right now, like after the show, Ďcause if you havenít noticed weíve kind oígot a big match later on against the chosen one, or is that the point? Get me rattled up so Iím not focused properly aní Cena can take advantage.

Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley: Cute Punk, but donít worry about Tazz. Heís aware of this conversation aní what Iím about tí tell you.

CM Punk: What youíre about tí tell me, aní what might that be?

Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley: Well tí get right tí the point, this Friday on Smackdown Iím expecting you to issue an apology for overstepping the mark in what you said on the show two nights ago.

CM Punk: Huh, aní who exactly who will I be apologising to? Cena, the Ďsuperstarsí thatíve been trod on by him who all feel the same way I do? The fans who must have been waiting years fí somone tí step up aní tell it like it is? In case you havenít noticed Steph, Iím kind of at a loss tí see what the point of this Ďapologyí is.

Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley: You know full well who you need to apologise to, and if you know whatís good for you, youíll do it.

CM Punk: Is that right?

Steph nods at him and turns to leave.

CM Punk: Just before you go Steph, out of curiosity, who are you rooting for tínight?

Stephanie turns round, looking right at the smug World Champion.

Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley: I donít have to answer that.

CM Punk: No you donít, not that we donít know the answer already. I just hope youíre not too disappointed when we beat your poster boy.

Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley: If I were you Punk, Iíd be worried, aní not just about your match tínight.

Punk isnít quite sure what to make of that as Stephanie does leave this time, not intimidated whatsoever, leaving Punk to think about what she said.

*Match #6*

WWE Championship
Batista © vs. Randy Orton
vs. Triple H

Closing Minutes:
With The Animal down, Orton sets his sights on Triple H as The Game makes his way back up. The Viper hammers him with a forearm shot, and another to put Triple H on the back foot. Orton grabs him by the arm and tries to whip his former Evolution team-mate in to the ropes, but The Game reverses it and catches Orton as he comes back with a HIGH KNEE STRIKE!. . . . . Orton falls to the mat but picks himself back up straight away, but Triple H is right on him, twisting his head round in to position for a FALLING NECKBREAKER, AND HE HITS IT, TAKING ORTON DOWN!!. . . . . Triple H wastes no time in shifting round on the mat to hook Ortonís leg and make a cover. . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . .

No, Orton gets his shoulder up. The King of Kings takes it well and goes right back to work, making his way round to Ortonís legs to apply AN INVERTED INDIAN DEATHLOCK!!. . . . . The Game has it locked in and Ortonís got nowhere to go. Heís completely at Triple Hís mercy, but thatís not enough for The Game as he puts Orton through hell, trying to make him tap. Orton holds his right hand up, trying to hold on through the agony as Batista makes his way back up a matter of feet away.

Triple H sees him but tries to finish Orton off, and it looks like he might just tap out, but Batista sees that as he gets back up and runs across to stomp on the back of The Gameís head. Itís enough to break the hold and he pulls Triple H up to his feet to fire him hard in to the pads. The WWE Champion surges at his rival and drives his shoulder in to The Gameís ribs. He doesnít stop there and repeatedly thrusts his shoulder in to Triple Hís midriff. It takes the winds out of his sails, and as Batista steps back out of the corner, The Game stumbles out in to a BACKBREAKER!!. . . . . The fans cheer as Batista covers his rival. . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . .

The Game gets his shoulder up and The Animal shows a hint of frustration as Orton pulls himself back up to his feet. Batista too stands back up and sees Orton, still a little worse for wear, runs at him and takes him down with a running clothesline. The fans cheer again and Orton toughs it out, getting right back up, in to an irish whip from the WWE Champion.

Orton comes back off the ropes and The Animal plants him with a SPINNING SIDE SLAM!!. . . . . The cheers get louder as Batista appears to be on the verge of retaining his title, and with Orton flat on his back, the WWE Champion covers him with the hopeful fans counting along as the ref counts down Ortonís shoulders. . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . .

No! Orton gets his shoulder up, sitting up and again looking rather worse for wear. Batista takes it on the chin and has his game face on as he makes his way back up, retreating to the corner and watching intently as The Legend Killer struggles his way up to his feet. The fans are looking on with anticipation, and the oblivious Orton makes it up, but as he turns round, The Animal storms across the ring at him going for THE SPEAR!!!. . . . .

BUT NO, ORTON SIDESTEPS IT AND GRABS BATISTA, PLANTING HIM WITH AN INVERTED HEADLOCK SIDE BACKBREAKER!!. . . . . Batista hits the deck and Orton goes for the cover straight away, no messing around as he hooks the championís legs with the ref making the count. . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . .

No, Batista lifts his shoulder up, getting a pop from the crowd. The fans might be happy, but Orton isnít as he stares down coldly at Batista who tries to sit up. The Viper pulls himself back across the mat on his hands & knees, fixated on the WWE Champion, and the challenger drives his fists in to the mat, getting more intense each time, all set for the RKO!!!. . . . . The Animalís still down as Orton gets a shock, being pulled up to his feet by Triple H.

The Game stomps him in the gut and sets him up for the PEDIGREE!!!. . . . . Itís met by a mixed response from the Toronto fans, but Orton fights back with a back body drop, lifting Triple H up over his head and down to the mat. That too gets a mixed reaction, and Orton turns round looking down with contempt at The Game as he crawls towards the ropes.

He uses them to pull himself up to his feet, but as he turns round, The Viper runs at him and clotheslines him over the top rope, down to the floor below. The emotionless challenger slowly turns his head and steps away from the ropes, turning right round in to a SPEAR FROM THE WWE CHAMPION!!!. . . . . A massive pop breaks out as Ortonís ripped in half by The Animal, and Batista thinks it could be over, dragging Orton away from the ropes to make the cover, hooking the leg as the ref makes the count. . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . .

. . . . . 3?

NO!

Orton just about gets his shoulder up to deny Batista, disappointing the crowd and even The Animal himself. He quickly shrugs it off as he stands back up and looks in to the stands, lifting his arms up in to the air with his thumbs up. They go nuts as he brings them down. Itís crazy loud inside the Air Canada Center as Batista walks over to the ropes and shakes them in a frenzy, getting the crowd going even more.

He turns round and walks back towards the squirming Legend Killer, bending down to pick him up, BUT ORTON JUMPS UP AND HITS THE RKO OUT OF NOWHERE!!!. . . . . The crowd falls flat as the intense Orton scurries across the mat to turn the motionless Batista on to his back and make the cover. . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . .

NO! Triple H pulls the referee out of the ring and down to the floor. Orton canít believe it, and turns his head to see The Game slip back in the ring. He rushes back up and runs towards him, but Triple H ducks a clothesline and puts Orton in a SLEEPER HOLD!!. . . . . Orton tries to fight his way out of it as The Game tries to hold on, but he canít and The Legend Killer forces him back in to the corner, escaping Triple Hís clutches. He staggers out of the corner where The Game remains, but he turns round and runs back in, THRUSTING HIS SHOULDER TOWARDS HIM, BUT TRIPLE H STEPS TO THE SIDE AND ORTON COLLIDES IN TO THE RINGPOST!!. . . . .

Triple H takes some much needed recovery time but soon sees Batista clawing his way back up to his feet, shaky on his feet after the RKO as the ref crawls back in the ring. The Game takes full advantage and runs across the ring at him, taking him down with a CHOP BLOCK TO THE BACK OF THE KNEE!. . . . . The Animal goes back down and Triple H grabs his legs, pulling the champion away from the ropes to apply the FIGURE FOUR LEG LOCK!!!. . . . . Boos ring out as Batista tries to stop himself from screaming with Triple H hell bent on making him tap, applying the pressure to The Animal who does all he can to hold on.

The ref asks him if he wants to tap out but he responds with a firm no, screaming it at the ref. He tries to drag himself back towards the ropes but canít. The fans start chanting his name, not getting to the focused Triple H, but the champion starts to respond and tries to roll over to reverse the hold. Thereís panic on the face of the challenger as he tries to stop Batista reversing the hold, but he canít, and The Animal manages to reverse it to a huge cheer from the Canadian crowd.

Itís Triple H whoís now telling the ref he doesnít want to give it up, but heís in agony, screaming out in pain, but Orton turns round on his knees to see heís on the verge of tapping. The Legend Killer panics in a big way and dives across on to Batista to break the hold. All three men are down, all hurt. Itís Orton & Triple H up first with Batista not far behind them, and Orton takes care of The Game, tossing him over the top rope. He turns his head & attention back to The Animal, waiting for him to turn round, and as he does he leaps up for the RKO!!!. . . . .

NO, BATISTA SHOVES HIM IN TO THE ROPES!. . . . . ORTON COMES RUNNING BACK RIGHT IN TO A BIG BOOT!. . . . . The fans are cheering again as the WWE Champion pulls him right back up to send him in to the ropes, and as Orton comes back he lifts up on his feet and DRIVES HIS BACK IN TO THE MAT AT FORCE WITH A HELLACIOUS SPINEBUSTER!!!. . . . . The crowd are going nuts for Batista as he wastes no time in standing back up with his game face on, bringing Orton up with him, setting him up once again for the BATISTA BOMB!!!. . . . .

The crowdís about to erupt and Batista lifts Orton up above his head, BUT ORTON JUMPS DOWN, LANDS ON HIS FEET AND HITS THE RKO RIGHT OUT OF LEFT FIELD!!!. . . . . Batistaís done but The Game reaches inside the ring and pulls Orton out of the ring at force. Some of the fans boo, some in shock as Triple H crawls back in to the ring and scurries across to make the opportunistic cover on the champion. . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . .

. . . . . 3?

NO!

A huge pop breaks out in the stands and Triple H sits up in shock, looking gobsmacked. He quickly runs his hands through his hair and gets his composure back, standing up and gets ready for Batista to do the same. Heís getting hot under the collar and urges his rival up, and as Batista gets to his knees, he pulls him in to place for THE PEDIGREE!!!. . . . . A chorus of boos comes from the crowd, but The Gameís face quickly turns to panic as Orton slides back in the ring and runs at him, taking him down with a clothesline.

The crowd cheer Orton for probably the first & last time tonight as Triple H hits the deck. Batista though is up on his feet and grabs Orton from behind for a waistlock, but Orton quickly slips behind and tries to apply a SLEEPER!!. . . . . The champion doesnít let him and lifts him up his back and tosses him forward, right in to the canvas. The fans are feeling it right now, and so is Batista. As Orton picks himself back up, Batista runs the ropes, running back to TAKE ORTON RIGHT BACK DOWN WITH A DIVING SHOULDER TACKLE!!. . . . .

Orton again makes his way back up in a bit of a spin, turning right in to a stomp to the gut. The Animal again pulls him between his legs for the BATISTA BOMB!!!. . . . . BUT NO, ORTON COUNTERS WITH A BACK BODY DROP!!. . . . . Batista hits the mat, just as Triple H gets up off it, catching the attention of The Viper. Orton runs right at him but in to a FACEBREAKER KNEE SMASH!!. . . . .

Orton doesnít know where he is, in a real spin, spinning round in to a kick to the gut. The Game is feeling it now and pulls Orton by the head in to his midriff, setting him FOR THE PEDIGREE, AND HE HITS IT, DRIVING ORTONíS HEAD IN TO THE CANVAS!!!. . . . . The fans can only look in horror as Triple H turns the out-cold Orton over on to his back and hooks the leg for the cover. . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . .

. . . . . 3?

NO!

Batista dives across on his knees to break up the count with an axe handle to the back of The Game, getting a huge cheer from the extremely relieved Canadian crowd. They start chanting Batistaís name again as he & Triple H pull themselves back up to their feet, and itís The Game who acts first, stomping him in the gut and setting him up for THE PEDIGREE!!!. . . . .

Boos ring out, but not for long as Batista counters, sweeping The Gameís legs up off the mat and catapulting him in to the ringpost. More cheers break out as the groggy Triple H turns round not knowing where the hell he is to see Batista charging at him to TAKE HIM DOWN WITH A RIP ROARING SPEAR!!!. . . . . The champion tackles his challenger down to the mat and goes right for the cover. . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . .

. . . . . 3?

Shoulder up from The Game! The fans canít believe it and Batista shows his first real signs of frustration. He leans back on his knees as Triple H comes round and crawls towards the corner. The Animal just watches him, allowing him to make his way back up, struggling to do so. Batista stands back up and prepares to strike, and as Triple H turns round, Batista runs right at him, but The Game catches him with a drop toe hold.

Batistaís head hits the second turnbuckle pad, and The Game stands back up with a smirk on his face, but as he turns round, ORTON JUMPS UP FROM HIS KNEES AND PLANTS HIM WITH THE RKO!!!. . . . . The fans donít know whether to boo or cheer as Orton, full of confidence, shimmies round on the mat and makes the cover. . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . .

. . . . . 3?

NO, SOMEHOW THE GAME GETS HIS SHOULDER UP AND ORTON CANíT BELIEVE IT!!. . . . . Orton leans back on his knees and stares in utter disbelief at the referee. Orton canít believe it and stands up throwing a hissy fit, walking over to the apron and kicking the bottom rope. He turns round and sees Triple H starting to stir, and The Viper instantly calms down. He just stares at him, not taking his eyes off him as he retreats to the corner. Again the fans donít know how to react as he almost salivates glaring at his fellow challenger squirming on the mat.

He then explodes out of the corner TO PUNT TRIPLE H IN THE HEAD, BUT NO, BATISTA STOPS HIM IN HIS TRACKS WITH A SPEAR!!!. . . . . The Game stands up looking incredibly relieved, but not for long as the WWE Champion runs right at him and clotheslines him over the top and down to the floor. With Orton sitting up, Batista turns round and calmly walks back towards his other challenger to pull him up from his feet, but Orton shoves him back, right in to the referee who falls to the mat, hitting his head.

Batista turns round and sees the ref isnít moving, showing some concern, but as he turns back to face Orton, THE VIPER LEAPS UP OFF HIS FEET AND CONNECTS WITH THE RKO!!!. . . . . Orton doesnít see the ref down and goes right for the cover, then turns to see the ref flat on his back. Ortonís livid and bangs his hands in to the mat. He crawls across and tries to shake him back to life, to no avail. The fans start to boo as we see TRIPLE H PULL A SLEDGEHAMMER OUT FROM UNDER THE APRON!!!. . . . .

Danger looms for Orton & Batista as The Game sneaks back in the ring behind the oblivious Legend Killer. The King of Kings stands up with his deadly ally in hand, and as Orton gives up trying to wake up the ref, he stands up and turns round IN TO A SHOT TO THE GUT FROM THE SLEDGEHAMMER!!!. . . . . Orton drops to his knees and THE GAME BRINGS IT DOWN TO HAMMER HIM IN THE HEAD TOO!!!. . . . . A ton of heat comes from the crowd as Orton just falls back in a heap, not moving as the sadistic Triple H stares down at him without an ounce of regret before kicking him under the bottom rope down to the floor.

He now turns his head to see the WWE Champion shifting round on his knees, trying to get back up. The Game takes a couple of steps back as Batista climbs his way back up without a clue as to whatís waiting for him. He turns round and the intense TRIPLE H RUNS AT HIM, DRIVING THE SLEDGEHAMMER TOWARDS HIS FACE, BUT BATISTA COUNTERS WITH A SPINEBUSTER TO A MASSIVE POP!!!. . . . . Triple H drops the sledgehammer and Batista grabs it to another big cheer. The Animal rises to his feet with The Gameís ally in hand, waiting calmly somehow as Triple H claws his way back up.

Triple H makes it up and turns round with Batista waiting to strike AND THE ANIMAL SWINGS IT AT THE GAME, BUT TRIPLE H DROPS TO HIS KNEES AND LOW BLOWS THE WWE CHAMPION TO A TON OF HEAT!!!. . . . . A ton if heat echoes around the Air Canada Center as Batista drops to the mat to the sadistic satisfaction of The King of Kings. Orton lies helplessly & motionless on the outside with his head busted open, but back inside Triple H rises to his feet and brings his sledgehammer with him with the fans still booing.

Batista struggles back up to his feet as Triple H sizes him up, getting ready to take his head off, and as The Animal makes it back up, THE GAME HAMMERS HIM WITH A VICIOUS SHOT TO THE SKULL WITH THE SLEDGEHAMMER!!!. . . . . The intense heat continues as The Game lets go of the sledgehammer and kicks it to the apron with the ref starting to come round. The crowd sense the end may well be near, and so does Triple H as he drags the dead weight that is Batista up from his feet in to position for THE PEDIGREE!!!. . . . .

The heat is incredible as Triple H stares disapprovingly in to the crowd before DRIVING THE ANIMALíS HEAD IN TO THE CANVAS FOR THE PEDIGREE!!!. . . . . Batistaís not moving and The Game has to turn him over on to his back, then hooks the leg with the fans booing like mad as the referee slowly crawls across the mat to make the count. . . . .

1. . . . .

. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . .

. . . . . 3?

YES! WE HAVE A NEW WWE CHAMPION!!!

ďThe GameĒ plays to a bombardment of heat from the Canadian crowd and Triple H drops his head to the mat and throws his arms up in to the air. The WWE Championship is slid in to the ring and the new champion walks over to collect it with the ref still in a bad way. The Game lifts it up off the mat and climbs up to the second rope to pose with the title, lifting it up in to the air with the fans still crapping all over his victory.

The King of Kings couldnít care less as he steps down and goes over to the opposite corner, posing again with the title on the second rope. He again steps off the ropes and this time leaves the ring, heading back up the ramp with his newly won title over his shoulder. He gets to the stage and turns back as Batista starts to come round, not knowing where he is as Triple H throws his arms up in to the air for his trademark pose with the WWE title too.

Winner: By pinfall, and the new WWE Champion, Triple H.

If Team Cena wins, Cena will face CM Punk at Night of Champions for the World Heavyweight Championship
Team Cena (John Cena, Matt Sydal, Bobby Lashley & Charlie Haas) w/Mickie James
vs. Team Punk (CM Punk, Alberto Del Rio-Ramirez, Chris Jericho & Shelton Benjamin)

Spoiler for Elimination Recaps:

Sydal & Benjamin were going at it, both getting some close calls, and with the pace picking up, Sydal floored his former foe and leapt up in to the air for a standing moonsault. The Gold Standard blew the wind out of the United States Championís sails by bringing his knees up in to his stomach, and as they both made their way back up with Sydal winded, Benjamin stomped him in the gut and looked to have finished the job with a powerbomb in to the turnbuckle pads. Sydal though showed his courage by getting his shoulder up at the count of two. Shelton was focused, hell bent on putting his former rival away.

He watched him intently as he used the ropes to help him stand up again in the corner. Shelton though flew at him, racing across the mat for a stinger splash, but Sydal dodged it, stepping out of the corner to then drill the former United States Championís head in to the mat courtesy of a tornado DDT. The fans were cheering him on as he flew to the top rope with Shelton down & out, not moving beneath him before connecting with the Shooting Star Press to a big pop. The ref counted the fall and the fans cheered again as he counted to three with Benjamin being the first to bite the bullet.

Elimination #1: Shelton Benjamin by Matt Sydal

Del Rio-Ramirez was on a mission to make an impression at Sydal & Team Cenaís expense. Heíd done a good job in wearing down the United States Champion and went to pull Sydal up to his feet, firing him in to the corner. The Mexican rookie ran in at him, but the resilient youngster lifted both his feet up in to Punkís rookieís face, sending him staggering out of the corner. The dazed Mexican turned back round as Sydal had raced his way up to the top rope, and he then came off the top towards Del Rio-Ramirez with a double knee takedown. Team Punk were relieved to see Del Rio-Ramirez comfortably kick out at two, but Sydal wasnít done there.

He pulled the Mexican up from his knees to whip him in to the corner, quickly following in with a running elbow to Del Rio-Ramirezís kisser. Again Sydal wasnít done and he backed up to the opposite corner with his opponent slumped down against the pads. The United States Champion then charged across the ring at him, but Del Rio-Ramirez sprung to life and caught Sydal with a drop toe hold on to the second turnbuckle. Sydalís head crashed in to the turnbuckle pad and the Mexican rookie reacted in a flash to roll him up, resting his feet on the ropes for leverage as the referee counted to three to a chorus of boos.

Elimination #2: Matt Sydal by Alberto Del Rio-Ramirez

Del Rio-Ramirez stood up with a big smile on his face as Sydal sat up furiously, looking at the referee with the Mexican laughing back at him, and as Sydal reluctantly left the ring, Del Rio-Ramirez signalled he wanted the United States Championship around his waist. As he was doing so though, Haas entered the ring and snuck up behind him, lifting him off his feet and planting him with the Olympic Slam. The fansí boos quickly turned to cheers as the ref counted to three, putting Team Cena back on top.

Elimination #3: Alberto Del Rio-Ramirez by Charlie Haas

Haas took it to both Jericho and the Punk, going at it tooth & nail with the World Heavyweight Champion. They battled back & forth with Punk gaining the upper hand, but when Haas ducked a roundhouse kick, he looked all set for an upset when he slipped behind the World Champion, lifting him up off the mat for the Olympic Slam. The Straight-Edge Superstar though jumped down to his feet and planted him with a side slam before locking in the Anaconda Vice. Haas fought bravely with Punk desperately clutching on to make him tap, and eventually he did to level the numbers once more.

Elimination #4: Charlie Haas by CM Punk

Closing Minutes:
Punk stands back up looking pleased with himself, not seeing Lashley step through the ropes. The World Champion turns round and Lashley runs at him to take him down with a clothesline to a decent pop from the capacity crowd. Lashleyís as focused as ever, pouncing on Punk as he gets back up to stomp him in the gut. The monster shows off his strength by lifting Punk up in to the air with one arm for a DELAYED VERTICAL SUPLEX, EVENTUALLY BRINGING PUNK CRASHING DOWN IN TO THE MAT!!. . . . . The Toronto crowd cheer again, but Lashley isnít done with him, just yet. He pulls him right back up and sends him back first in to the canvas again with a GUT-WRENCH SUPLEX!!. . . . . Punkís hurting and Lashley looks to take advantage, hooking the championís leg for a cover. . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . . No!

Punk gets his shoulder up and Lashley gets back up, bringing The Straight-Edge Superstar with him, scooping him up on to his shoulder. With Punk at his mercy, Lashley runs across the mat for a RUNNING POWERSLAM!!. . . . . No wait, Punk slips down behind him and shoves Lashley in to the turnbuckle pads. Lashleyís chest collides with the pads and quickly rolls him up, holding on to the tights as the oblivious ref makes the count. . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . .

No, Lashley kicks out and both men hurry back up to their feet with Punk dropping Lashley on to the middle turnbuckle. Punk looks like one relieved World Champion right now as he crawls across the mat on his knees to tag Jericho. The self proclaimed best in the world steps in to the ring and goes after Lashley as the big man pulls himself back up to his feet. Jericho chops him hard across the chest, and again. The Canadian grabs him by the arm and tries for an irish whip to the opposite corner, but itís reversed and Jerichoís back hits the pads.

Lashley runs in at him and nails him with a hard clothesline and steps back out of the corner with Jericho following him out, right in to a T-BONE SUPLEX!!. . . . . NO, JERICHO ESCAPES WITH A SERIES OF ELBOW SHOTS TO THE SIDE OF LASHLEYí HEAD!!. . . . . The relieved Jericho turns back and runs the ropes, but runs right back in to Lashley, who grabs him around the upper torso with both arms AND HITS AN OVERHEAD BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX!!. . . . .

The fans are cheering as Jericho sits up in pain, clearly feeling the effects from that suplex, but Lashley isnít done with him. He drags Jericho back up from his knees behind him, grabbing him around the waist and again tosses him overhead with a FLIPPING RELEASE GERMAN SUPLEX!!. . . . . Jerichoís barely moving and Lashley crawls across on the mat to cover him with the ref dropping to his knees to make the count. . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . .

NO!

Jericho battles to get his shoulder up, lifting his head up off the mat, definitely hurting right now as Lashley coolly returns to his feet and retreats to the corner, watching Jericho struggle back up to his feet. Punkís sweating it out on the apron, starting to panic, and with Jericho struggling to get back up, the World Champion hits the ring, getting the full attention of the referee. He goes right over to Punk who stands firm in the middle of the ring, arguing right back with the ref as a pissed Cena flies through the ropes and tries to get at Punk with Lashley watching closely, letting the ref deal with it.

The ref turns round and tells Cena to get out of the ring, ushering him back towards the apron but Lashley isnít happy about it. He goes to get rid of Punk, grabbing his shoulder, but the World Champion turns round and levels him with a FEROCIOUS ROUNDHOUSE KICK!!!. . . . . Lashley just falls back to the mat and a smirking Jericho crawls across to cover him as Punk leaves the ring with Cena complaining at the ref. Jericho yells at the ref to turn round, and he does, racing across to count Lashleyís shoulders. . . . .

Elimination #5: Bobby Lashley by Chris Jericho

Cena stands there shaking his head with Jericho & Punk laughing, but as Jericho stands up, he sees Cena staring right at him. The smile quickly goes from Jerichoís face as Cena charges at him, taking him down with a clothesline to a heavy mixed reception, mainly boos as Jericho claws his way back up. Cena shuts out the boos and runs past Jericho in to the ropes, hits them and comes running back at Jericho to take him down with THE THROWBACK!!. . . . .

The cheers & boos continue from the divided crowd as the fired-up Cena jumps right on Jericho as he gets back up, lifting him up off his feet in to a SPIN-OUT POWERBOMB!!. . . . . Itís getting hot inside the Air Canada Center as stands up and looks right in to the stands holding his right hand up, waving it in to the crowd for the FIVE KNUCKLE SHUFFLE!!. . . . . He steps back in to the ropes and comes back to nail Jericho in the face to another mixture of cheers & boos as he hooks the leg for a cover. . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . .

No! Jericho kicks out but Cenaís in complete control, and he knows it as he stands back up and locks his eyes on Jericho, struggling to get back up. Cenaís pumped, and Punk sees the danger, stepping between the ropes yet again. The refís right on him, not letting him getting near Cena, but Cena walks across and tells him to get out of the ring too, giving him a firm warning. Punk for once does as heís told and steps back on the apron, and Cena turns his attention back to Jericho.

Cena bends down to pick Jericho up from his knees, but the Canadian catches him off guard and grabs his ankles, sweeping his legs and turning him over in to THE WALLS OF JERICHO!!!. . . . . Most of the crowd are cheering as Jericho turns him over and locks it in, putting pressure on Cenaís back. Punkís looking on with a big smile on his face, shouting out encouragement at Jericho who really puts the pressure on Cena and taunts him, shouting at him to give it up. He doesnít and desperately tries to fight the hold with some of the crowd urging him to tap too.

Punk joins in but Cena drags himself across the mat, trying to get towards the ropes. Some of the fans are cheering Cenaís name and they help him as he manages to fight his way towards the ropes, getting closer & closer with Jericho really panicking, but Cena reaches out, a matter of inches away and he drags himself closer, reaches out and grabs the bottom rope to a huge mixed reception. Most of the fans are booing, and both Jericho & Punk are pissed, and Jericho lets go at the count of four, standing up looking incredibly frustrated.

He looks down at Cena and in to the stands, then back at Cena as he tries to pull himself up using the ropes. Jerichoís seething as he watches him getting back up to his feet, and the Canadian runs past him in to the ropes, runs back and takes him down with a ONE ARM BULLDOG!!. . . . . Cenaís head hits the mat and he turns over on to his back, and Jericho stands up with his eyes lighting up. He runs in to the ropes, springboards and HITS THE LIONSAULT!!!. . . . . Jericho thinks heís got it in the bag and wastes no time reaching to the side and hooking Cenaís leg as the ref runs across to make the count. . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . .

NO!

Jericho leans back and canít believe it. He stands up and gets in the refereeís face, telling him it shouldíve been three, but the ref stands firm and makes it clear it was only two. Jericho doesnít like what he hears and shrugs his shoulders, looking deflated as Cena again uses the ropes to help get to his knees. Jericho turns back round and goes after his opponent, but Cena rises up to his feet and lifts Jericho up on to his shoulders for THE F-U!!!. . . . . CENA WALKS AWAY FROM THE ROPES AND THROWS JERICHO DOWN, BUT JERICHO FLIPS TO THE SIDE AND LANDS ON HIS FEET!!!. . . . .

Cenaís stunned and turns round with Jericho running at him, BUT CENA COUNTERS WITH A DROP TOE HOLD IN TO THE STFU!!!. . . . . The crowd erupts again as Jericho immediately screams out in pain with Cena locking it in, but Punk races in to the ring and breaks it up by stamping on Cenaís back. The ref goes crazy at the unapologetic World Champion who just turns in to the crowd smirking, without a care in the world. Cena though pulls himself back up, and as Punk turns round, their eyes meet and Cenaís livid.

Cena stands up and goes for Punk who slips under the bottom rope to safety, but Cena follows to him another mixed reaction from the Canadian crowd. He chases him round the ring with Punk shocked & worried, but as he dives back in the ring under the bottom rope, Cena follows again and runs in to a RUNNING ENZUIGIRI FROM JERICHO!!!. . . . . Punk loves it and he steps back on to the apron as Jericho scurries across as quick as he can to make another cover with Cena spark out. . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . .

. . . . . 3?

NO!

Cena gets his shoulder up just as the ref was about to count to three and the crowd again react with a mixed response. Jericho canít believe it, leaning back and looking up to the heavens. Punk though, he wants in, leaning over the ropes and shouting at Jericho. The Canadian obliges and tags his captain who smells blood. He shifts across on the apron as Cena starts to stir, looking very groggy indeed. He looks to be on another planet as Punk holds on to the top rope, waiting to strike, and as Cena makes it back up to his feet, looking shaky, he turns round and the World Champion springboards and HITS AIR PUNK!!. . . . .

The flying clothesline puts Cena down, but not for long as he fights on, but Punkís ready for him. He pulls him up from his knees and sends him in to the corner, running right in at him and nailing him with a JUMPING KNEE SMASH!!. . . . . PUNK HOLDS ON TO CENAíS HEAD AND RUNS OUT OF THE CORNER, DRIVING CENAíS HEAD IN TO THE MAT WITH A RUNNING BULLDOG!!. . . . . Punk stands back up with a big smile on his face and signals for the GTS!!!. . . . . He puts his hands together and tilts his head against them with the crowd again split as the unsuspecting Cena sits up.

Punkís looking confident, and as Cena stands up, he lifts him up off his feet and on to his shoulders for the GTS!!!. . . . . The crowd are going crazy, still split as Cena starts wriggling round and slips down to safety, catching the World Champion by surprise. He doesnít have any time to react as Cena lifts him up off the mat and plants him with A SPIN-OUT POWERBOMB!!. . . . .

Cena makes his way back up with Punk down on the mat, and Cena once again signals for the FIVE KNUCKLE SHUFFLE, TAUNTING PUNK WITH THE ďYOU CANíT SEE MEĒ AND COMING BACK OFF THE ROPES TO DROP HIS FIST, BUT PUNK ROLLS TO THE SIDE AND UP TO HIS FEET, PLAYING POSSUM, AND AS BOTH MEN MAKE IT BACK UP, CENA TURNS ROUND IN TO A ROUNDHOUSE KICK!!!. . . . . Punkís knocked Cena out and drops to his knees, hooking both legs and making the cover. . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . .

. . . . . 3?

NO! Punk sits up and looks down at Cena, not happy at all and shifts round in a hurry to apply the ANACONDA VICE!!!. . . . . Punk turns away at Cenaís face with the crowd still torn, some chanting ďLetís Go CenaĒ and others ďCena SucksĒ as Cena fights to stay in the match, but it doesnít look good for him. Punk shouts at him to tap but he doesnít, clinging on, just, looking like heís almost done. He holds on and starts to fight it, trying to drag himself towards the ropes with Punk still urging him to give it up.

With some of the fans still encouraging him, he keeps on fighting and drags himself closer to the apron with Punk looking worried, and Cenaís almost there, sticks out his leg and places it on the bottom rope to another huge mixed reaction. Jericho canít believe it and shakes his head on the apron as Punk keeps the hold locked in, only letting go at the count of four.

He stands up with a face like thunder and sees Jericho calling for the tag, and he walks over to him to bring him back in to the action. Jericho coolly steps in to the ring and towards Cena as he uses the ropes to pull himself back up, looking like a dead man walking. Jerichoís revelling in it and waits for him to turn round, and as he does so, Jericho goes for THE CODEBREAKER!!!. . . . . Cena holds on to the top rope, grabs Jerichoís legs and flips forward for a JACKNIFE COVER!! . . . . .

1. . . . .

2. . . . .

. . . . .

. . . . .

NO! Jericho kicks out and both men rush back up to their feet. Jericho swings a wild right at him, but Cena ducks it and LIFTS HIM UP FOR THE F-U!!!. . . . . Punk storms the ring, but Cena sees him coming and drops Jericho down on to his knees to run at Punk and clothesline him down to the mat. Punk claws his way back up and staggers back in to the ropes, and Cena runs at him again, clotheslining him down to the floor with the fans split in their reaction.

Cena turns back round and sees Jericho running right at him, but Cena ducks under the arm and runs away from the ropes. Jericho puts the brakes on and charges back at Cena, scowling at him, but Cena catches him with a drop toe hold and LOCKS IN THE STFU!!!. . . . . Jerichoís in trouble, deep trouble and heís screaming as Cena wrenches away at his face, trying to make him tap.

Jericho holds on, right hand raised but nowhere near the ropes. He canít get anywhere near them as the intense Cena holds on, hold locked in tightly, red faced as Punk sits up on the outside, crawling to the apron just as Jericho reaches out one last time, no chance of escaping and gives up the fight, tapping out to a surprisingly big pop, leaving us with Cena & Punk to fight it out.

Elimination #6: Chris Jericho by John Cena

Jericho rolls over to the apron as Punk leans against it and realises whatís just happened and whatís about to happen. Cena stands back up and stares right at Punk who takes his time climbing back in to the ring. He stands up by the ropes and turns to the crowd, cheering like mad as Cena & Punk are about to face off with Cenaís potential title shot at Night of Champions at stake. They walk towards each other, eyes fixed firmly on the other and Punk starts to talk trash. Cena lets him talk, taking it well until Punk slaps him across the chops with a big grin on his face.

Cena smirks and then nails Punk with a hard right hand, putting the World Champion down. Heís not down for long and gets right back up, but Cenaís right there to fire him in to the ropes. Punk holds on to them though and Cena isnít in the mood to hang around waiting and runs right at him, right in to an extended elbow from the World Champion. It sends him staggering away from the ropes, and Punk with his game face on charges back at Cena, but Cena takes him down to the mat in to an STFU!!!. . . . .

The crowd go nuts again as Punkís forced to fight for survival with Cena torturing him. The panic is there for all to see in Punkís eyes as he reaches his arm out, nowhere near the safety of the ropes, but Jericho stands back up on the apron right in front of Cena. Cena takes drastic action and stands back up to run at the apron, knocking Jericho down with a right hand. Itís met by cheers & boos as the struggling World Champion claws his way back up behind him. Cena turns round and runs back at him in to a spin kick to the gut from Punk, and The Straight-Edge Superstar runs in to the ropes for a SPRINGBOARD TORNADO DDT!!!. . . . .

Cena counters and throws him down to the mat to another mixed reaction. Cena walks up to Punk as he tries to get back up and pulls him up on to his shoulders for the F-U!!!. . . . . Cena stares in to the crowd intently and sends Punk crashing in to the canvas, fans still torn, but Jericho again climbs up on to the apron. Cena sees him and so does the ref, both livid and the ref goes over and tells Jericho to get down. The Canadian stands there arguing as Cena shakes his head, walks across and tells him to get down as a big pop with some boos breaking out.

Cena leaves it to the ref and turns round, getting SPEARED OUT OF HIS BOOTS BY EDGE!!!. . . . . WHERE THE HELL DID HE COME FROM?!!!. . . . . Edge stares down smirking at Edge as Jericho keeps arguing with the ref, and the Toronto born superstar stands up and drags Punk on top of Cena with the World Champion coming to, still groggy but places his arm out on his chest as Edge makes his getaway. Jericho jumps down and the ref turns round, rushes across and drops to his knees to make the count. . . . .

Elimination #7: John Cena by CM Punk

ďThis Fire BurnsĒ plays to a very mixed reaction with Jericho & Edge smiling big time on the outside and they join Punk in the ring, helping him up as the confused referee collects his World Heavyweight Championship. He hands it over to him and raises his hand with Punk smirking big time, looking very smug, as do Edge & Jericho with Cena starting to stir. Del Rio-Ramirez comes out and joins his mentor, congratulating him as he, Edge & Jericho leave the ring.

They head up the ramp poking fun at the crowd, turning back halfway up as Cena sits up absolutely furious with Punk once again lifting his title up in to the air defiantly, pointing to himself in the process, making sure Cena knows it belongs to him as Cena glares at him, letting him know this isnít over as the show comes to a close with Punk just grinning back at him along with his team.
