it's decent. i'm a generally big fan, Nothing's Shocking would be an essential 80's album for me, and i love Farrell, although his side band didn't interest me at all.

i miss the attitude though. the epic, grandiose alt rock is still there, and i love that sound, but their old stuff always had some snarky, quirky upbeat tracks, which this album doesn't have. it's cool they reunited though.


i'm hoping to catch them in Las Vegas in December.

EDIT: liking it more on multiple listens. my initial disappointment for some of their older stuff has faded and i'm appreciating the old sound mixed with the new stuff. also love navarro's work. no AOTY, but very good.
