Re: EWR/TEW Discussion Thread

^That MMA Invasion would be the worst thing ever. Anyway, here are the two main events for my Wrestlemania 27 in TEW 2010 and their backstories. Rate, hate, whatever.

WWE Championship: (C) John Cena vs The Undertaker
Backstory is pretty basic. Cena wins the WWE Championship from Wade Barrett at Survivor Series and holds it until Wrestlemania where he faces The Undertaker, who wins the 2011 Royal Rumble. Streak vs Title, Cena vs Taker. It basically writes itself.

World Heavyweight Championship: (C) CM Punk vs Shawn Michaels
This feud has been building since November when Shawn Michaels was named the new Smackdown General Manager after Theodore Long retired. They have been at each others throats since then, with Michaels booking CM Punk in multiple man matches for his World Heavyweight Championship, in all of which CM Punk retained the Championship. For months, Michaels has refused Punk's challenges to face him in a match, stating that he is retired. Michaels went back on his word on the Smackdown after Elimination Chamber when CM Punk showed up outside of Michaels' house in Texas and threatened his family, to which Michaels finally accepted Punk's challenge for Wrestlemania. On the final Smackdown before Wrestlemania, the two had a contract signing, which ended with Shawn super kicking Michael Cole, since he and CM Punk had a "No Contact" clause in the contract.
