*This is my return to doing a BTB series, i haven't done one in well over 22 months. Coming on here and seeing how active and seeing how many talented writers on here, lit the spark for me again. I gave the first few pages of this section a look and saw that pretty much all the BTB's were the same and i decided i needed to add a little flavor to this section, by doing my own thing.. I hope you all enjoy.*

I like the fact that you quoted events from sources (including Twitter no less). Your roster's looking stacked and the "Glory Rises" card is shaping up nicely. You've captured a reader's interest quite well with your starting posts. I'll be interested to see how this BTB turns out.

A somewhat unique idea/thread you have going on here. I'm liking how you are using sources like Twitter as a way for news/announcements/random ramblings. Everything looks pretty good and the quality of stuff written is pretty top notch, here's hoping you can carry that quality through with your shows. Match writing/promo's etc. The Glory Rises event looks pretty good. REALLY looking forward to reading The Young Bucks vs. Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team. All American Series has some pretty good competitors in, just don't let Tommy Dreamer advance, at all. :p

Double A push please. 8*D

Tonight is gearing up to be an AMAZING! night

Verses posted the following on their website about the huge AWA Glory Rises Show

We are very pleased to help the AWA create a new platform in the wrestling industry. Tonight will be the first of many great shows that we will help the AWA present to everyone around the world. We here at Verses strive to deliver the best quality of entertainment and sports the world over, and what better way for us to do that than to give AWA a way to show that they have some of the most athletic guys in the wrestling industry.

We would also like to announce that due to the overwhelming sales of tickets and selling out every show the AWA has scheduled; we have renewed AWA for 2 more seasons, consisting of a total of 24 more action packed episodes. Ontop of new seasons, we would also like to announce that AWA will present SuperClash: The Return live Monday night, January 16th right here on Verses. The location of the event will be revealed on an upcoming AWA broadcast.

We would like to also thank AWA for helping us reach a new audience and we hope that following the conclusion of the 3rd season a new agreement can be reached to keep the AWA/Verses partnership going strong.

Hammerstein Ballroom
New York City, New York
October 17th, 2011
2,516 People In Attendance

The show opens and Austin Aries is shown in his locker room sitting on a folding chair. He pulls his wrist tape out his bag and begins taping up his wrists. The scene then cuts to Davey Richards in his locker room, where he is doing squats. He stops doing squats and then begins doing sit ups. The scene cuts to the arena where the crowd is cheering and going wild, with an AWA chant echoing through the crowd. The camera continues to pan around the arena and then counts to the announcers, who are sitting ring side. Joey Styles and Kevin Kelly run through tonights card and say that there may be a few old surprises from AWA's past here tonight. Styles then mentions that the atmosphere in the air is like that of an old ECW show and Kelly agrees with him and says that when he worked for ROH he heard loud cheering, but nothing is compared to this. They then both thank Storm, Regal, Lesnar and Heyman and say that without them, they wouldn't have the opportunity to be apart of wrestling history again.

2 Out Of 3 Falls
The Young Bucks vs. Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team
Just as they finish talking "California" by HollyWood Undead hits and the crowd goes crazy cheering as Matt and Nick Jackson walk onto the stage. Bob Artese announces the Young Bucks and the crowd gets even louder as the Bucks make there way to the ring and pose for the fans. While the Bucks are posing and playing up the fans, streamers from all over the arena into the ring. As The Bucks are posing "TNT" by AC/DC hits and the crowd erupts cheering, even louder than they did for the Bucks. After the song playing for a few seconds Charlie Haas and Shelton emerge from the entrance tunnel and the crowd gets even louder. Haas and Benjamin look at each other and smile and make there way to the ring.

As Haas and Benjamin hit the ring, the Bucks go face to face with them and just as it looks like there is about to be a brawl; both teams shake hands. The crowd cheers at that and a "best in the world" chant is started and the match isn't even under way. The scene cuts to Joey Styles and Kevin Kelly saying that is how much respect that the fans have for both of these great teams.

Bob Artese then announces the match and Haas and Benjamin as Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team. WGTT poses for the crowd like the Bucks did and then after a few minutes, the two teams go face to face again.

Benjamin and Hass & Nick and Matt shake hands, followed by Haas and Matt leave the ring and going to their respective corners.

The bell sounds and the two lock up, and immediately Nick shoots behind and grabs a waist lock, Shelton tries to break free, but Nick picks him up and slams him to the side, spins around and goes for a headlock, but Shelton hooks the arm, and spins out, both roll away, stand up and square off. The circle up with each other as the fans give applause. They go to lock up again, and now fight to try and get one or the other to the corner, and then Shelton carefully lays to his back with force, and makes Nick go rolling into the turnbuckle. Nick is back to his feet in the corner as is Shelton, and Shelton makes a mad dash at him, but Nick shoots out of the way, turns Shelton around, kicks him in the gut, and hooks a headlock. Nick walks him into the center, but then Shelton punches him in the stomach a few times, grabs his wrist, spins out, and connects with a rolling kick to the head. Shelton arrogantly goes for the cover. 1, 2, Kickout!

Shelton grabs Nick, and drags him to his corner, and tags in Charlie. The pick up Nick, and whip him at the ropes and connect with the Star Spangled Banner. Nick tries to crawl over towards Matt, but Haas is right over there and locks in a rear chinlock. Nick fights to get to his feet and after a hard fought battle, finally stands up, and connects with two elbows to Haas' abdomen, then goes to hit the ropes, and Haas goes for a lariat, duck under by Nick, and Nick comes firing back with a big dropkick, both get back up to their feet, Nick whips him to the ropes, and connects with a jumping hurricanrana, and both are down, trying to crawl towards their partner. Haas makes it first to tag, and as he gets in, Nick makes the tag, and Matt shoots in, and Matt connects with a clothesline, Haas gets up to try and get him but eats a dropkick from Matt, and then Nick gets up, and throws Haas out of the ring and exits as well, while Shelton is standing up behind Matt. Matt goes to turn around, and Shelton connects with the T-Bone Suplex. Cover, 1, 2....................KICKOUT!!!!

Shelton cannot believe his eyes as the camera pans to Charlie slamming Nick into the guardrail, and Shelton signals for Charlie to get back into the ring. Charlie enters, and they take positions as Matt begins to stand up. When he is fully upright, Shelton connects with the Superkick, and Charlie gets him overhead with a German Suplex. Shelton goes for the cover as Charlie watches over. Pin, ONE, Nick runs into the ring, but Charlie spears him as he enters, TWO, 2.................................KICKOUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Charlie picks Nick up to his feet, and hold him up as he tells Shelton to take him out, and Shelton connects with Paydirt on Nick. Haas says he wants in, and goes on the apron, and Benjamin tags him in. Shelton hooks a facelock on Nick, and Haas locks in the Haas of Pain on Matt. The referee is forced to give the first fall to the Worlds Greatest Tag team when Matt tapped out.

Haas is pushed back to his corner as he lets Matt get to his feet, and he immediately tags in his brother Nick, and Nick dashes towards Haas, who sidesteps and lets him run into the turnbuckle, and when he turns around, Haas connects with a mean belly to belly suplex. Haas signals the finish, and lifts Nick to his feet, and then gets the scoop lift DDT, but mid air with the scoop lift, Nick hooked Haas' face, and threw his legs out to land with an Ace Crusher. Nick looks over at Matt and sees that he's still worn down from before, so he decides to climb up to the top rope, and go for the 450 Splash, but Haas rolled out of the way. Haas moves over towards Benjamin and tags him in. Shelton immediately goes for a cover on Nick. Pin, 1, 2.......................................... ...................KICKOUT!!!!!!

Shelton goes to lift Nick to his feet, and whips him into the corner, and rushes after Nick who gets out of the way, and Shelton hits the turnbuckle hard. Nick goes to rush into Benjamin but he pulls the referee into the way, and Nick accidentally decks the ref. Shelton stands behind Nick and when he turns around, locks in the T-Bone hold, but Nick hits him with elbows to the side of the head, then drops him with a DDT. Haas goes under the ring and grabs a steel chair, and sneaks in behind Nick, but Matt runs in to try and stop him, and Haas decks him with the chair to the face. Haas goes to turn and swing at Nick, but Nick dodges the chair, kicks him in the gut, bashes him in the back with it, then guillotines him. Shelton rolls out of the ring, and grabs Nick by the foot and drags him out of the ring, and they start battling back and forth as the ref finally comes to, and throws the chair out of the ring as neither man is taking the blame for the chair. Haas runs at Matt who ducks the clothesline attempt, Haas grabs the ropes to stop himself, and Matt falls down, and connects with a roll up. Pin, 1, 2............................... 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The ref backs each member up into their corner, and gives them the go ahead. This time both of them charge towards each other, and Haas hits him with a Thesz Press and starts pummeling him, then goes to try and lock in the Haas of Pain, and successfully does. Matt tries to fight out of it, and eventually makes his way to the ropes to break it. Haas goes over and tags in Shelton whom immediately throws a back kick to Matt, and then locks in a rear chinlock. Matt slowly starts to get up to his feet, but then slowly falls back down. After the fans start cheering Matt finally is able to get to his feet, and connect with a few elbows to Shelton to break the hold, then hit the ropes and connect with a dropkick, sending Shelton out through the ropes. Matt signals to Nick to grab Shelton, and Matt runs and baseball slides Haas' leg in the corner, having him fall face first on the apron. Matt slides out of the ring and throws him harshly into the guardrail, as Nick gets Shelton back in. Matt quickly follows behind Nick.

The Bucks begin playing up to the crowd and the crowd is going wild as they watch and wait as Shelton pulls himself to his feet, he staggers and turns towards the Bucks and they hit him with a pair of in unison superkicks. Matt and Nick look at eachother and look at the top rope and smile. Nick climbs to the top rope and waits and watches as Matt pulls Shelton to his feet and then onto his shoulders. Matt then delivers a rolling fireman's carry to Shelton, just as Matt moves out of the way, Nick flies through the air with a 450 spalsh and within a split second Matt comes flying off the top rope with a moonsault.

Matt pulls in Shelton's leg for the pin and just as he does Haas makes it back into the ring and just as he gets into the ring, Nick spins him around and hits a huge superkick, sending Haas lying through the middle rope to the arena floor. The crowd goes crazy cheering, Nick falls onto the middle rope smile as the referee's hand comes down for the 3 count. "California" By Hollywood Undead starts to play again and Matt and Nick Jackson celebrate their win. After a few minutes of the Bucks celebrating, Haas and Benjamin hit the ring again and begin talking to the Bucks. It looks like they want to shake the Bucks hands again. Matt and Nick look at eachother as Shelton and Haas extend their hands to shake. The Bucks look down at the hands and then push past the WGTT and leave the ring to the crowd booing and they are laughing and smile. Haas and Benjamin yell at them that they have no respect.

The scene then cuts backstage to Larry Zbyszko and Verne Gagne sitting in an office backstage with Brock Lesnar, Paul Heyman and William Regal. They are all talking about the history of the AWA and then Verne mentions that Regal won the AWA light heavyweight championship in 1985. Regal smiles and they begin talking about the first ever SuperClash event.

The scene cuts to another backstage area where Justin Credible is shown arriving to the arena with Sean Waltman. As then enter the building Shane Douglas approaches them and says its nice to see them again. Credible then asks Douglas where Lance Storm is as he told them to meet him here tonight. Douglas points them in the direction of Storm's office and Credible and Waltman thank him and walk off down a hallway.

"All American Series"
Jake Hagar vs. Tommy Dreamer
The show cuts back to the arena where the crowd is chanting AWA and the arena is pitch dark. The lights come up and a man is seen standing in the ring with a hood over his head and a microphone in his hand. The man raises the mic to his mouth and starts to speak. The man says that he was let go from his old contract due to creative not having anything for him. He then yells and says that is bullshit and that the higher ups were worried that he would take the place of one of their precious golden children. The man says that all the fans know who he is and that he is a former NCAA champion. The crowd cheers at that mention and the man pulls the hood off his head and reveals himself(formally Jack Swagger) and the crowd cheers even more. The man says that everyone knew him by his slave name, but now he is going to go by his real name. He says his name is Jake Hagar and he is going to show why he was personally signed by Mr.Lesnar, when he out wrestles everyone on the roster and goes undefeated in the "All American Series" and goes onto win the AWA North American Championship. Hagar throws the mic down and motions that he will be the champion.

"Man In a Box" by Alice in Chains hits and the crowd goes crazy and an "ECW" chant starts as Tommy Dreamer walks into the arena. Dreamer takes in all the applause and makes his way to the ring with a smile on his face. Hagar is staring Dreamer down the entire time, with Dreamer paying him no attention. Dreamer circles the ring hive fiving all the fans around the ringside area, and then finally slides into the ring. As he does, Hagar attacks him and the referee calls for the bell. The crowd begins booing him and yelling you suck, and Hagar pays no attention to them and continues his assault on Dreamer. Hagar pulls Dreamer to his feet and then floors him with a powerful clothesline. Hagar then drops down and does push ups in the ring as the crowd boos him. Hagar watches as Dreamer tries to get to his feet and Hagar grabs him and sets him up for and connects with the gut-wrench power-bomb. Hagar then pins Dreamer and gets the 3 count. The crowd boo's Hagar as stands over Dreamer with his arms in the air. Hagar then signals that he will be the champion.

The show cuts to a graphic on the screen and it shows Jake Hagar leading with 1 win in the "All American Series". The graphic fades and cuts backstage to Sean Waltman and Justin Credible still looking around for Lance Storm. They stop people in the hall and ask if they have seen him and they tell them they haven't and they continue walking around looking for him.

Back in the arena, Kevin Kelly and Joey Styles are talking about everything that has gone on during the show tonight. The mention the disrespect the Young Bucks showed towards the WGTT. Styles mentions that later tonight, we will witness one of the greatest matches to ever take place in pro wrestling history, when Davey Richards takes on Austin Aries. Kelly chimes in and says that the two have faced off in the past, but tonight they have agreed to put it all on the line and prove once and for all who the best in the world really is. Styles says that it doesn't matter who wins the match as the real winner tonight is everyone who is able to watch the match.

Just as Styles and Kelly finish talking as "94 Hours" by As I Lay Dying hits the loud speakers and the lights in the arena go down and Bob Artese tells everyone to give a warm welcome to someone who played a huge part in the return of the AWA.. Lance Storm walks out onto the stage and Bob Artese introduces him to a loud ovation. Storm climbs into the ring and takes a mic. Storm says that he heard some old friends are backstage looking for him and have been all night. He apologizes for them not being able to find them and says that when he's done out here, he will head straight for his office so they can talk. Storm then says that the reason he is out here, is due to the fact that some of the greatest moments in his career were in this building back in the "ECW" days, but even though that those days have come and ago, being here again feels just like back then and it gives him the itch. The crowd cheers wildly at Storm hinting he wants to get back in the ring. But he then says that wasn't the main reason he came out here for, and he just got sidetracked. Storm says that after tonight's huge opening match between two of the greatest tag teams in wrestling, it gave him and the rest of the board a great idea; and that idea is that leading up to the final episode of No Limit. He says there will be a tournament, that will be single elimination and the final two teams will face off in the semi-main event to crown the new AWA Tag Team Champions. Storm finishes by saying that tag teams from all over the world will be invited to compete in the tournament and it will begin tomorrow night. "94 Hours" begins to play again and Storm exits the ring and disappears backstage.

The scene cuts to a split screen view of the locker rooms of Davey Richards and Austin Aries where they are shown lacing up their boots and preparing for their main event match later tonight.

The show cuts back to the arena where the crowd begins an AWA chant and the scene cuts over to the announce booth where Styles and Kelly are talking about what Lance Storm just said and kept wondering if they would see the Impact Playerz have one last run. Kelly and Styles then put over the main event between Davey and Aries some more and say that it will end up being one of the greatest matches in pro wrestling history.

Regal tells Zbyszko that he's right and that while he may not be wrestling in the new AWA, he will make sure the company doesn't fold this time. A cell phone is heard ringing and then Regal excuses himself from Zbyszko. He then says that whoever wins the tournament will face them on the Season Finale of NO! Limit! in 12 weeks time. Nick Jackson tells Lesnar that it doesn't matter who wins the tournament as when its all said and done the Young Bucks will have their name in the history books as they win and add their name to the history of the one of the most prestigious tag titles in wrestling history. Kendrick dances his way to the ring with a smile on his face. Once in the ring, Bob Aretes introduces both men and then announces that this is a "All American Series" match up. Shelton and Haas then leave there locker room as the camera shows the door closing as they exit.

Main Event
Austin Aries vs. Davey Richards
The scene cuts back to the arena where the lights go down and the arena is pitch black. A voice comes over the p.a. system and says that in a few moments the wrestling world will be set on fire when two of the greatest athletes in the world square off to find out who truly is the best. Just as the voice over stops, the howl of a wolf echoes throughout the arena and "Gasoline" by Seether begins to play. A Davey Richards chant erupts before he even appears on the stage. After a few minutes Davey Richards emerges onto the stage and as he does streamers begin flying through the air into the ring and all over the stage. Davey makes his way to the ring with an intense look on his face and pays not attention to the crowd. Before Davey can enter the ring "Greatest Man that Ever Lived" By Weezer begins to play and and the cord goes ballistic. Aries emerges onto the stage in his trademark pink furry vest with a huge smile on his face. As Aries slowly makes his way down the ramp to the ring, he yells to the crowd that he is the greatest man in the world. One Aries gets into the ring, he poses for the fans and goes nose to nose with Davey Richards. The two men begin trading words but it can't be heard and then all of a sudden, Aries extends his hand to shake Richards. Richards looks down at his hand and then just as he is about to shake Aries hands, Aries pulls his hand away and smiles and laughs at him.

The referee rings the bell and Davey and Aries stare each other down and then rush in and they lock up. Both men begin testing each-other's strength with neither man being able to gain the advantage. The two break the hold and begin circling each other in the ring and then suddenly Davey grabs Aries and drive him into the corner. Aries tries to fight out of it but he some how manages to squirm away from Davey and put himself between the ropes and the referee forces Davey to let go. Aries smiles at Richards and it drives him crazy and he charges at him, but Aries stays between the ropes and the referee holds Richards back as Aries continues to laugh. The two men begin circling each other in the ring and and Davey goes for a double leg takedown and gets it on Aries and then he floats over to get Aries into a headlock. Aries tries to fight out of it, but Richards locks it in tighter. Aries tries to pull himself towards the ropes but Davey squeezes tighter and doesn't let him move. Aries continues to try and fight out of it with punches and knee shots to Davey's body until he finally releases it. Davey quickly tries to go after Aries again, but before he can get ahold of him, Aries rolls out of the ring and tries to regain his composer. Aries circles the ring trying to get back in, only to be stopped by Richards who follows him around the ring and kicks at the ropes whenever he tries to enter. Aries yells at the referee to hold Davey back so he can get into the ring. Aries tries to climb back into the ring and Davey shoves past the referee and then runs and jumps over the top rope and collides with Aries, sending him crashing into the ring side barricade.

Richards quickly gets to his feet and throws Aries into the crowd and then heads back to the ring.Aries is slowly beginning to move around in the crowd, when Davey points to him from the ring and then poses for the crowd. Davey then runs to the opposite side of the ring and spring boards and then uses the momentum to run and fly over the top rope and into the crowd onto Aries. The crowd begins a "This Is Wrestling" chant as the referee begins to count the two competitors out. Davey and Aries both begin to stir around the time the referee hits the 6 count. Both men try to prevent each other from climbing the guardrail back to the ring side area. The two men begin trading punches in the crowd and all of a sudden Aries grabs Richards and slams him face first into the guard rail and then throws him over it. Aries then shakes the cob webs off and jumps over the guard rail, but as he jumps over, with every last bit of strength Richards has, he jumps from the arena floor and kicks Aries in the temple, sending him crashing to the arena floor. The crowd starts a "Holy Shit" chant. Richards continues to crawl his way to the ring and reaches it as the referee is about to hit the 17 mark. Richards quickly rolls into and stops the count and then rolls back onto the apron. Aries begins crawling to towards the ring as Richards lays on the apron.

Aries gets back to his feet and climbs into the ring past Richards. Aries yells to the crowd that he is the greatest man in the world and then grabs Davey and pulls him into the ring. Aries pulls Davey to his feet and signals for the brain buster and then sets Richards up for it. Aries hoists Davey into the air and out of nowhere Davey reverses it into a neck breaker. As the neck breaker connects, Richards drapes his arm over Aries and the referee begins to count.. 1……2…… just as the referee's hand is about to come down for the 3, Aries kicks out. Richards gets up and pulls Aries up and power should him into the corner, Richards hoists him up onto the turnbuckle and climbs up after him and sets Aries up for the DR Driver 1. Richards tries to maintain his balances as Aries tries to fight out of it. Richards can't keep Aries in the set up and Aries pushes Richards off the top rope crashing to the mat below. Aries repositions himself on the top rope, and then jumps off for a frog splash onto Davey Richards. Just as Aries is about to connect with the splash, Richards gets his knees up and they connect with the midsection of Aries.

Both men slowly pull themselves to their feet with the help of the ring ropes. Both men stagger towards each other and begin trading huge rights and lefts. Each punch sends the other man staggering for a few seconds, who then follows up with a punch of his own. Richards swings for a punch and Aries ducks under it and goes behind him and locks in an arm wrench. Aries tightens it as Davey tries to fight out of it. Davey tries to power out of it, but Aries uses his own momentum to send Richards chest first into the turnbuckle. As Davey turns around, Aries catches him with a picture perfect dropkick. The crowd doesn't know who to cheer for, but they can't help but cheer for the amazing match. Aries pulls Richards to his feet and spins him around and sets him up for and connects with the brain buster, dropping Richards on the back of his head. Aries then flips Richards over onto his stomach and locks him in a front face lock and then starts to deliver continuous knee shots to the top of Richards head. Each knee shot gets harder and harder, and the referee begs Aries to stop, but Aries refuses.

Suddenly, Davey Richards counters out of it some how and squirms out of the headlock and coverts it into a arm lock on Aries. As blood pours down the face of Richards he refuses to let go of the hold. Aries screams out in pain and the referee asks him if he wants to end the match, but Aries refuses to give up. After a few minutes in the hold, the referee realizes that both men have passed out. The crowd continues to go crazy, as the referee realizes both men have passed out, he calls for the bell to end the match. Bob Artese announces that the match has ended in a double technical knockout. The crowd begins a "That Was Awesome" chant, as medical staff and road agents hit the ring to check on both men. As Aries and Richards are being checked on, Lance Storm, Paul Heyman, Brock Lesnar and William Regal walk out onto the stage clapping for one of the greatest matches in pro wrestling. As the medical staff and agents check on Aries and Richards and try to help them to their feet and out of the ring, both men shove off the help and collapse. The agents continue trying to help them, but keep getting shoved off. The crowd cheers wildly and a continuous applause for the two competitors. The show fades to credits as Aries and Richards both exit the ring on their own free will.

Very good development so far. Your build-ups are nice and your in-ring work is very solid, very believable. I like where you're going with this and I look forward to reading more. If the mood strikes me, I may do a full review for one of your next shows.

NO!LIMIT!

Episode 1
Hammerstein Ballroom
New York City, New York
October 18th, 2011
2,516 People In Attendance

The show opens with a video package showing the highlights of Glory Rises, from the opening Tag Team bout between the Young Bucks and Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team to the "All American Series" Match ups and finally to Austin Aries and Davey Richards fighting to a draw. The scene then cuts to the arena where Joey Styles and Kevin Kelly welcome everyone to the debut edition of NO!Limit!. Kelly says that last night was one of the greatest show in pro wrestling history with the greatest main event in wrestling since Hogan vs. Sting at StarrCade 97'. Styles chimes in and agrees with Kelly and says that tonight is going to be even bigger than last night. Styles and Kelly then recap the events from last night at Glory Rises and that leads into them revealing that tonight Austin Aries and Davey Richards won't be here live tonight, but we will hear from them later on in the broadcast.

As Styles and Kelly continue to talk about whats going to happen tonight, "No Sleep Till Brooklyn" hits and Amazing Red walks out onto the stage to a huge ovation to the crowd. Red not his usual upbeat self, makes his way to the ring and takes a mic from someone at ringside and he paces back in fourth in the ring as he waits for his music to fade. Red begins to speak and says that last night following his win over Brian Kendrick he was jumped by Kendrick's best friend Paul London. Red says he didn't expect Kendrick to do something like that and thought that he had more class than that, but he guesses he was wrong. Red then goes on and says that even though he won his first match in the 'All American Series" last night, it means little to nothing as his win is now tainted. He then goes on to plead the championship committee because he knows that they are watching right now, to give him another match against Brian Kendrick. Red continues to plead to the committee and as he is doing so "The Boy Who Destroyed The World' by AFI hits and echoes throughout the arena. Paul London and Brian Kendrick make their way onto the stage laughing and pointing at Red to a chorus of boo's from the crowd.

Kendrick and London hit the ring and continue to laugh at Red and London pretends to cry mocking him. Red goes to say something and London snatches the mic from him. London tells Red that he needs to calm down and they are just having a little bit of fun. London tells Red that he doesn't belong in the new AWA and that he should head back down south to "Totally No Action" the crowd cheers at the mockery of TNA. London then tells Red that he shouldn't be upset over what happened last night, as he finally got his name cemented in wrestling history. Red is visibly getting upset over being berated by London. London tells Red he should consider them his heroes as they finally put him on the map and that without them, he would be back to working at Taco Bell in a week. Kendrick takes the mic from London and says something to him without the mic. London shrugs and smiles and Kendrick them looks at Red and tells him not to listen to Paul as he can be a little harsh sometimes and that he doesn't have a filter between his mouth and his brain. Kendrick then begins to ramble on about the "All American Series" saying that he will win it and go on to win the North American Championship. Red snatches the mic from Kendrick and London get angry like he is about to lay out Red, but Kendrick calms him down. As Amazing Red is about to speak a woman with a huge mohawk jumps the barricade to be at the ring side area and stands watching the on goings in the ring. Kendrick and London start smiling and laughing paying no attention to what Red is saying.

Red tells them that he is gonna be the one to win the "All American Series" and not Kendrick and it doesn't matter who he has to go through to do it. He then tells London and Kendrick that they should be ashamed of what they did last night, but he realizes that now it doesn't matter as he has a win in the "All American Series" and Kendrick doesn't and that means he is one step closer than Kendrick to earning championship gold. The mystery continues to watch what is going on in the ring, with Red still not realizing she is there. The woman makes her way into the ring and stands right behind Red as he demands to know why Kendrick and London are laughing. Amazing Red finally senses that someone is standing behind him and he turns around only to eat a swift kick to the midsection from the woman, doubling Red over in pain. The woman raises her arms in the air and then grabs Red and sets him up for a double underhook facebuster as London and Kendrick watch on in laughter. The woman connects with the facebuster and lays Red out cold. The crowd boos as London picks up the mic and introduces everyone to Christina Von. Von takes the mic from London and she pauses and then says that everything they thought about Red was right, he can't even beat a girl in a fight. Von then gets on her knees and leans in close to the face of the unconscious Amazing Red and in a fake caring voice and asks him if he's ok and then kisses him on the cheek. She gets up and throws the mic at his body and starts laughing with London and Kendrick about what they just did to Amazing Red. "The Boy Who Destroyed The World" hits again and the 3 pose but the entire arena booing them and they are just eating it up and enjoying every minute of it.

As the 3 leave the ring, EMTs come out and check on Red as the scene fades to a promo showing the highlights of the "All American Series" from last night. The package then fades into showing highlights of the 2 out of 3 falls match between The Young Bucks and Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team.

The scene cuts to the announcers booth where Kevin Kelly and Joey Styles are talking about what just happened between Amazing Red, London, Kendrick and Von. Styles says that those 3 need to learn how to respect people and that they are nothing but a bunch of hooliganz. Kelly chimes in and says that is exactly what they call themselves. Kelly then says that the show must go on and says that up next we will see Brodie Lee and Dragon Kid taking on Jake Hagar and Tommy Dreamer in an "All American Series" tag team match. Styles says that the members of the team that win the match will both receive a win in the series.

Dragon Kid runs onto the ramps and Lee just looks at him and the two men make their way to the ring to a standing ovation from the crowd. As soon as they climb into the ring "Freedom" by Rage Against The Machine hits and Jake Hagar makes his entrance to a mixed reaction from the crowd. As Hagar makes his way to the ring "Man In A Box" hits and Tommy Dreamer makes his entrance to a huge ovation and "ECW" chants from the crowd. Hagar and Dreamer argue in the ring and eventually the referee makes one of them leave and the match gets under way.

Dragon Kid and Lee gain the upper-hand early in the match. They control the flow of the match, until suddenly Dreamer lays out Dragon Kid with a clothesline. Both men crawl to their corners to try and make the tag. As Dreamer reaches his corner and reaches his hand out to tag Hagar into the match, Hagar drops down off the apron and leaves the ring side area and vanishes back stage. During this time Dragon Kid made his tag to Brodie Lee, who is stalking and waiting for Dreamer to get to his feet. Dreamer gets to his feet and turns around only to eat a huge big boot from Brodie Lee. Lee covers Dreamer for the pin fall at 8 minutes and 35 seconds into the match.(8:34)
Dragon Kid and Brodie Lee celebrate their win in the ring to the crowd's delight as the scene cuts to the announcers. "California" by HollyWood Undead hits and The Young Bucks make their way to the ring to alot of heat from the crowd. The Bucks pose for the crowd ignoring the heat and act like they are getting cheered. Matt Jackson takes a mic from someone at ringside and thanks the fans for the standing ovation. Nick just stands next to him laughing. Matt then says that they came out here for a reason and that is because last night they proved they are the greatest tag team in the world. Nick takes the mic and says that they should be called Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team and not Haas and Benjamin. Matt and Nick then talk about how they are the most dominate tag team in wrestling and that they should be awarded the AWA Tag Team Titles. "TNT" by AC/DC hits as the Bucks are talking and the crowd goes crazy. Haas and Benjamin make there way onto the ramp as the Bucks look angered that they were interrupted. Shelton and Haas take mics from someone at ring side and then tell the congratulate the Bucks on their win last night. Shelton then tells the Bucks that they got lucky last night and if they really want to consider themselves the greatest tag team in the world to face them again tonight right here in NYC. The crowd cheers, and Nick tells Haas and Benjamin that while they would love to kick their asses again, they have been given the night off. Matt takes the mic from Nick and tells the WGTT that they are gonna compete in the first round of the tag team championship tournament next week. Haas and Benjamin then look at eachother and look down at the mat and then Haas raises the mic to his mouth and says that may be the case, but that doesn't keep them from kicking their asses all over NYC. The Bucks try to plead with the WGTT, but it doesn't work and the two teams erupt into a brawl. Haas and Benjamin send the Bucks bailing from the ring and then signal that they will be the tag team champions as the Bucks back up the ramp angry that they were just attacked.

The scene cuts backstage Brodie Lee is shown in his locker room talking to a figure standing in the shadows. The person tells Lee that it is his destiny to win the "All American Series". Lee just nods his head in agreement and tells the person he will do as he is told and that next week, no matter who he is in the ring against, they will "Fall". The person hidden in the shadows starts to laugh and the scene fades.

The scene reopens in the arena where "94 Hours" by As I Lay Dying begins to play and Lance Storm makes his way onto the stage. Storm has a mic in hand and as his music fades he starts to speak. Storm says that last night he was ask to consider having one more run and reforming the Impact Players with Justin Credible. Storm says that all last night and all day today, he thought about what he was going to do and he has finally reached his decision. Storm says that it took alot for him to make this decision and hopes that the fans won't be disappointed in him. After a few moments of Storm being silent and the crowd chanting "One More Run". Storm speaks up and says that he has decided to give it one more go, as he says that Justin Credible appears on the stage and hugs Storm from behind. Storm then says that next week the Impact Playerz will have their return to the ring in the AWA Tag Team Championship tournament, the crowd cheers wildly.. Storm and Credible hug as the scene cuts backstage.

Backstage William Regal is shown standing in front of a locker room door, the camera pans up to show that the door reads WGTT on it. He knocks and then enters the room, where he is welcomed by Haas and Benjamin. Regal then tells them that as a showcase tonight they will take on each-other in the main event. Haas and Benjamin smile and Shelton tells Regal that just because they are best friends, it doesn't mean they won't go out there an have an amazing match. Haas them tells Regal that regardless of the outcome tonight, nothing will come between them. Regal wishes them luck tonight and tells them to steal the show.

The scene then cuts back to the arena where Kevin Kelly and Joey Styles talk about the historic moment that was just witnessed and how exciting it will be next week to see the Impact Playerz return to the ring. Kelly then mentions that he was just informed that we will see Brian Kendrick in action up next taking on the newest member to enter the "All American Series". Styles speculates on who it could be and Kelly tells him that they will find out in a few moments. Kelly and Styles then reveal that at the close of the show the Board of Directors will make an announcement regarding the return of the AWA Heavyweight Championship.

"All American Series"
Brian Kendrick w/ Paul London and Christina Von vs. Mystery Opponent

As the announcers are talking ''Debonaire'' by Dope hits and echoes throughout the arena and the crowd explodes cheering. After a few seconds of the song playing, Rhino emerges onto the stage and the crowd gets even louder. Rhino looks around at the crowd for a second and then runs down the ramp and slides into the ring and poses. As Rhino is posing for the crowd "The Boy Who Destroyed The World" by AFI hits and Brian Kendrick makes his way onto the stage flanked by Christin Von and Paul London. The crowd boos them wildly as the 3 make their way to the ring. Kendrick, London and Von stop on the outside of the ring and Kendrick starts yelling at Rhino, who just ignores him. Kendrick hits the ring and motions for the referee to hold Rhino back. Kendrick climbs the ropes and poses for the crowd, acting as if they love him and that their boos are cheers. As Kendrick jumps down off the top rope he motions the referee over to him. Kendrick distracts the referee, while Rhino watches on from the other side of the ring. As Kendrick is distracting the referee, London jumps on the ring apron to get Rhino's attention, which works. The two men begin trading words. While the two are arguing Von sneaks into the ring behind Rhino and drops him with a low blow. London drops down off the apron and Von quickly exits the ring and joins his side as the referee turns around sees Rhino holding himself up with the ropes. Kendrick quickly pushes past the referee and attacks Rhino, causing the referee to ring the bell.

Kendrick continues his vicious assault on Rhino and only stoping when the referee threatens to DQ him. Rhino tries to recover but as soon as he lets go of the ropes, Kendrick continues his brutal assault. The match remains very one sided with Kendrick keeping the control and pacing to his liking. Mid way through the match, Rhino finally gains the advantage and hits Kendrick with the Rhino Driver and gets a long 2 count. Rhino begins stalking Kendrick for the Gore, when Von jumps on the apron and distracts the referee and Rhino. As the referee yells at Von to jumps get off the apron, London hits the ring and grabs Rhino and tries to set him up for a leg sweep DDT. Rhino counters out of it and hits the Gore on London, sending him flying out of the ring. Before Rhino can turn back around Kendrick attacks him and sets him up for Sliced Bread #2. Kendrick tries to go for it, but Rhino counters it into a back suplex. Rhino pulls Kendrick to his feet and then shoulders him into the corner, and hoists him up onto the top turnbuckle in a seated position; then he climbs up and sets Kendrick up for a superplex. Rhino goes for the superplex, but Kendrick holds on and tries to fight out of it. Kendrick somehow fights out of it and grabs Rhino in a front face lock who tries to fight out of it to no avail. Kendrick holds onto the facelock and flips over Rhino and connects with a Super Sliced Bread #2, the crowd can't help but cheer at that awe inspiring move. Rhino and Kendrick lay motionless on the mat as London and Von cheer for Kendrick. The crowd starts a "That was awesome" chant as Kendrick crawls towards Rhino and drapes his arm over him as the referee counts 3.(11:04)
"The Boy Who Destroyed The World" starts to play again and London and Von hit the ring and help Kendrick to his feet; as he realizes he just won the match and a huge grin spreads across his face. A graphic appears on the screen as they are celebrating in the ring and it shows the new "All American Series" standings with Rhino added to the list.

Current standings in the "All American Series"
Amazing Red (1-0-0)
Brian Kendrick (1-1-0)
Brodie Lee (2-0-0)
Dragon Kid (1-1-0)
Jake Hagar (1-1-0)
Rhino (0-1-0)
Tommy Dreamer (0-2-0)
The scene cuts backstage to Jake Hagar who is walking down a hallway when he is confronted by Paul Heyman. Heyman demands to know why he walked out of the match earlier tonight and that he feels he should just remove Hagar from the "Series". Hagar tells him that he didn't feel he needed to team with a hack like Tommy Dreamer and he would rather have a loss, because one loss won't matter as he will go on to win the "AAS" series. Heyman shakes his head and lets out a sigh and then tells Hagar that next week he his "AAS" match will also have a different stipulation, and that is if he walks out of the match or loses that person will take his place in the "Series". Hagar visible angry acts like he is about to snap and Heyman and Heyman tells him that he better watch what he says as his words could come back and bite him in the ass. Heyman then walks past Hagar, who turns around and watches him disappears down the hallway.

The scene then returns to Kevin Kelly and Joey Styles who are talking about the "All American Series" and the events of the show tonight. They then put over how huge the main event that is coming up next between Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas is going to be. They put over the match saying it may end up being the second greatest match in AWA history.

Main Event
Shelton Benjamin vs. Charlie Haas

As Styles and Kelly finish talking "TNT" hits and the crowd begins cheering. Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas walk out onto the stage together and make there way to the ring. Both men climb opposing turnbuckles and pose for the fans as they jump down and go face to face, the referee calls for the bell and their music fades.

The two begin circling each other in the ring and after a few seconds they stop and shake hands and then back up and then rush into a lock up. They test eachothers strength for few moments with neither gaining the advantage and they break it after a few seconds.
The two lock up again and this time Haas quickly powers behind Shelton and tries to lock him into a full nelson, but Shelton counters it by spinning behind Haas and locking him in a waist lock, but Haas quickly counters out of that and snapmares Shelton to the mat and quickly locks him in a head lock. Haas tries to lock in the headlock, but Shelton counters out of it and gets behind Haas and puts him in a arm lock, and drives Haas to the mat. Haas screams out in pain as Shelton wrenches the hold tighter and the referee checks on Haas asking him if he wants to submit. Haas tries to fight out of the move but everytime he does, Shelton locks it on tighter. Somehow Haas gets the strength to get to his feet and tries to break free of the hold, out of no where Haas breaks free and spins around and quickly fireman carries Shelton to the mat and locks him in a keylock. The crowd begins a "This is Wrestling" chant as the referee checks on Shelton and asks him if he wants to submit as Haas torques the hold. Haas keeps the hold on as the referee pleads with Shelton to submit, after a few minutes of the refusal, Haas releases the hold and helps Shelton to his feet.

The crowd cheers as the two men shake hands again and begin circling eachother and lock up for a 3rd time. This Shelton gains the advantage this time and he quickly powers behind Haas and locks him in a waist lock. Haas tries to power out of it and he does and gets behind Shelton and gets him into a waist lock of his own. Now with the tables turned Shelton tries to get out of the waist lock Haas has him in. Haas refuses to release the hold and the more Shelton fights, the tighter he holds it, Shelton tries to pulls Haas's hands apart and finally succeeds and he quickly ducks behind Haas and gets him into another waist lock of his own, but he doesn't hold it long as seconds after he locks it in, he hits a huge german suplex on Haas. The crowd cheers and before Haas can even recover, Shelton gets him in a front headlock. Shelton wrenches the headlock as Haas tries to fight out of it. Shelton continues to hold Haas in the headlock and tells the referee to ask him if he wants to submit, and the referee asks Haas but he refuses. Seconds after the referee asks Haas, he somehow manages to get to his feet, and Shelton still refuses to release the hold. Shelton changes the hold into a side headlock with Haas still trying to fight out of it, but he can't. Out of no where Haas reverses the side headlock into an arm lock, wrenching Shelton's arm behind his own body. Shelton fights out of it with stiff elbow shots, forcing Haas to release the hold and staggering him. Both men recover for a few seconds and then go face to face and smile at eachother. The two men charge at eachother and Haas drops Benjamin with an arm drag, both men quickly get back to their feet and they charge again, but this time Benjamin drops Haas with an arm drag, this process continues on a few more times, till both men stop and smile at eachother once again and the crowd starts another "This is Wrestling" chant.

The two men quickly lock up again and Haas quickly breaks the lock up and grabs Shelton and hits him with a snap belly to belly suplex. Haas yells for Shelton to get up, as he is slowly pulling himself to his feet. As Shelton is pulling himself up, he falls to one arm hunched over and Haas takes advantage and delivers a stiff forearm smash to his back, staggering Shelton. Haas follows and grabs Shelton and whips him into the ropes and then floors him with a clothesline. Shelton not wanting to give up, quickly gets back to his feet only to be dropped by a second clothesline from Haas. Again Shelton quickly gets to his feet, but Haas grabs him and irish whips him into the ropes, Haas tries to take down Shelton with a back elbow, but he ducks under Haas's elbow and bounces off the ropes on the other side. Shelton goes for a superkick, but Haas grabs his foot and the crowd cheers. Haas tells Shelton it was a nice try, and suddenly Shelton swings his other leg up and hits a stiff kick to Haas's temple. Haas is down and Shelton gets to his feet and starts to pump the crowd up even more than they already are. While Shelton is pumping up the crowd, Haas has gotten back to his feet and is waiting for Shelton to turn around. As Shelton turns around, Haas grabs him, but he gets pushed away and Shelton charges at him and grabs him in a uranage and hits Haas with Pay Dirt. The crowd explodes cheering as Shelton pins Haas and hooks his leg for the 3 count.(17:30)
"TNT" begins to play, and the crowd starts a "That Was Awesome" chant. Shelton helps Haas to his feet, who shoves Shelton away from him. Haas turns his back to Shelton in frustration as Shelton watches in shock. After a few seconds, Shelton walks over to Haas, who turns around and hugs him. The crowd cheers wildly as the two raise eachothers arms in the center of the ring.

The show then cuts backstage to the Young Bucks watching the match on a TV in their locker room, smiling and laughing about the slight dissension shown between Haas and Benjamin.

The scene fades to a video package highlighting the main event of "Glory Rises" between Davey Richards and Austin Aries last night. The package shows all the important parts of the match, and then reveals that they will both return to the show next week and teases an encounter between the two.

The show cuts back to the arena where Kelly and Styles are talking about the wrestling clinic that Haas and Benjamin just put on. Styles then talks about the promo for the return of Austin Aries and Davey Richards and referees to them as the two hottest stars in wrestling today. Kelly then cuts in and tells styles that while that may be the case, Haas and Benjamin proved that there stars are just as bright, Styles agrees and then the both put over the AWA roster as the greatest talent pool to be assembled in wrestling history.

"Shout At The Devil" by Montley Crue hits while the announcers are talking and Brock Lesnar walks onto the stage in very expensive looking suit. The crowd cheers as he make their way down the ramp and into the ring. Lesanr has a mic and he takes in the cheers from the crowd as he paces back and fourth in the ring. After few minutes of taking in cheers, Lesnar thanks everyone for coming to the show these last two nights and without them, the return of AWA wouldn't have been any near as successful as it has been. Lesnar then puts over all the guys on the roster and says that they are the thing that sets them apart of the 2 big companies. The crowd cheers and an "AWA" chant begins, and he just stands in the ring taking in the chant with a smile on his face. Lesnar then says that he is out here for a reason and that is regarding the return of the AWA Championship. He says that over the next few weeks, the board of directors will be watching everyone on the roster and judging them on a variety of things and it will help them decide who will earn a shot to compete for the AWA Championship on the 12th Edition of NO!Limit!. He then reveals that the competitors who will compete for the title will be revealed on the 7th edition of NO!Limit!. Lesnar then goes onto say that it could be anyone who earns the title shot. He says it could be someone in a tag team, a singles star, even someone not even on the roster yet, but he promises that no matter who is chosen, history will be made. Lesnar drops the mic as "Shout A The Devil" starts to play again and as he leaves the ring the show fades to credits.

Review For "No! Limit!" Episode 1

Right from your opening paragraph it's easy to see a few repetitive mistakes (including an over usage of the word "tonight" in the last sentence). There's also a missing "s" or two here and there which gives your writing a choppier feel than it deserves. I phrase it that way because your ideas are very sound; it's just that they could benefit greatly from a more grammatically correct presentation. It's the smallest things as well, but if you take a bit more time, double check (or triple check) your work, it would help the flow of your presentation immensely. One prime example I can point out is that you're constantly referring to the "mystery woman" in the pluralized form "women". If you need help in this area, drop me a PM and we can discuss.

Moving on to the actual content of your show, I find the attitudes for Kendrick, London and Von to pretty much mirror how one would expect them to act in the same situation. Red's a little sissified in your opening, however I have the feeling he'll gain more confidence as you go along (which is nice to see someone building characterization through experience rather than already having it ingrained into them). Not a big fan of the Hagar/Dreamer pairing so it was nice to see Hagar turn on Tommy. A feud between those two could be a real hot ticket. The WGTT/Bucks confrontation went about as I expected it would and I'm all for reading about a reunion between the Impact Playerz. Quite honestly, if I was actually watching this show on my television set, I might have experienced the slightest mark out moment when Storm agreed to give it one more run. It's always a good sign when you can use your writing to make wrestling fans mark out...it means you're on the right track.

Bad idea to give away your mystery opponent right out of the barrel, though. I could understand if there was some reason for Rhino being the first man out to the ring, but there wasn't. Your story could have progressed in the same manner even with Rhino coming out second. Plus, that would have given you the opportunity to build reaction shots from the Hooliganz to Rhino's appearance. The match itself is decent, although this one would have worked better with a bit more meat to it. Granted, having a computer crash sucks (been there...done that...don't want to do it again) but another paragraph would have invested more emotion into the match. Your "All American Series" is your bread and butter right now; you want to make sure it holds enough weight.

I'm not as impressed by your Hagar/Heyman confrontation as I was with some of your other talking segments. I know it was necessary, but it felt like there could have been a bit more dialogue between the two; really mold Hagar into the villainous persona you seem to want to push him towards. The main event felt like a main event. Average psychology when it comes to Haas and Benjamin but then again, it's the main event of a regular show and not a super show like "Glory Rises" so it worked well enough under that condition. Again, the Brock Lesnar announcement didn't seem to stack up to your earlier talking segments. It almost feels like, as the show went on, you lost your enthusiasm for writing promos. Might be something you'll need to work on as time passes.

The best thing you can do with a "be the booker" thread is to make people imagine what you've written as a real entity. You pull that off from a fairly realistic standpoint. As I said, if it wasn't for the grammatical errors, the flow of your piece would feel more natural. I'm certainly going to be following this to see what direction your ideas take.

Realism/Suspension of Disbelief: A
Excitement Factor: A
Character Development: A-
Promos/Interviews: B
Grammar: C-

thanks for the review.. i know my mistakes and thats due to most of this show being written at all hours of the night, with little to no sleep.. I will make sure to double/triple check my work from now on. I just felt it had been awhile since the show needed to be posted and wanted to get it up ASAP.. Anyway i know it seems like it lost some of its steam, but nothing everything can be an A++ segment, but things will get better as the episodes progress. As i have it all already planned out.

More Information will be provided as it becomes available. Also believed to be in contact with AWA are recently released WWE Superstars Justin Gabriel(Paul Lloyd) and Rey Mysterio. AWA news and notes- October 21st, 2011- PWInsider.com
The following are the results from the first ever house show by AWA. Thanks to Anthony Gregg for sending them in.

I arrived and the venue and it was pretty full, i would say about 85%. The show was great from open to close, though the crowd was seemed upset, that Aries and Richards weren't on the show. It was slightly expected due to them not being on NO!Limit!, but still many fans were upset. Before i get to the results i would like to say that, the "All American Series" that AWA is doing is pure gold and has lead to a lot of great matches so far and they even carried it over to tonights house show. Hopefully they will continue that in the future, this may be one of the best shows i have attended in recent memory. After the show wrestlers even came out and signed autographs and took pictures for free with anyone who was waiting around after the show ended. All in all AWA has me hooked on its product and i will defiantly be getting tickets next time they come to town.

BREAKING NEWS

Moments ago WWE.com posted that they have come to terms on the release of Wade "Stuart Alexander Bennett" Barrett. This comes as shocking news as we reported that just last week he was in line for a huge push. More information will be posted as it becomes available.
Recently released WWE star Stuart Bennett has changed his twitter handle from @WadeBarrett to @StuartAlexander.
Dave Meltzer has confirmed the release of Stuart Bennett and is speculating that Bennett is already in contacts with another major promotion in North America.
@StuartAlexander- Lots of rumors already going around and my release isn't even 3 hours old. I can't confirm or deny any rumors. But i can say you haven't "SEEN" the last of Stuart Alexander

@StuartAlexander- The Winds of Change are blowing once again

See, THIS is where the show starts getting depressing. I want a lot of these guys who get released to wind up big in the 'E. *shrug* I'll keep on a-readin'.

#26 ·
Didn't a guy get sued over using the AWA name and banner all ready?

#28 ·
You know what I still can't understand? I know it's after the fact, but it bugs the Christ out of me. Why have the first Main event in modern AWA history....be a double knockout? Shouldn't there be a clean finish, a clear winner?
