Re: WWE: A Strong Response

>The Game’s Fury!<

We’ve seen over the last month that there may well be some sort of connection between the WWE Champion, Batista and the wife of his fierce rival and former Evolution team mate, Triple H, Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley, and for the first time last night, The King of Kings saw it for himself.

After Batista backed Stephanie up during a confrontation backstage with her father & half-brother, Vince McMahon & John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield, Triple H saw what appeared to be a ‘moment’ between them. He didn’t wait long to confront The Animal, only to be told there was nothing going on, not that it would be his business if there was since he chose to walk away from Steph in favour of going after Batista’s WWE Championship at the Survivor Series.

It would seem that Batista has a case, but are he & Steph just friends like he says, and will he be able to walk out of the Survivor Series with his WWE title?

>Raw & Smackdown To Collide!<

Raw’s Head of Authority, Eric Bischoff last night announced that he was bringing back a Survivor Series tradition when he told the world that his brand will take on a Smackdown team in an elimination match.

Just as Sheamus was going to defend his Intercontinental Championship in an impromptu title match against the man who’s gotten under his skin as of late in Carlito, Bischoff interrupted to make sure that didn’t happen. He then advised them that they will be two of the men representing Team Raw and The Celtic Warrior would in fact be the team captain.

We heard Bischoff say that Tazz has agreed to the match and you have to wonder if there’ll be a response from the blue brand this coming week on Smackdown!

>Three Teams & Only One Title!<

Last week Christopher Daniels & Kaval booked their place in the final of the tournament to determine new World Tag Team Champions at the Survivor Series, and last night they were at ringside to watch the last two teams battle it out for the right to face them for the titles at Survivor Series.

However they were in for quite the surprise. They weren’t the only ones either as we saw Rey Mysterio & Mystico’s match with Matt Hardy & Gregory Helms end in a double count out following a double suicide dive from the Mexican mentor & rookie combination. If that confused everyone watching on, what came next was a bombshell, especially for Daniels & Kaval as they heard Eric Bischoff announce that at the Survivor Series they will take on both Mysterio & Mystico and Hardy & Helms in a triple threat match for the vacant tag team titles.

It wasn’t the final anyone was expecting but it sure as hell will be a spectacular end to the tournament.

>The Heartbreak Kid Wants Kofi!<

The Miz sure had his stupid smile wiped off his face last night when he got the response most expected bar him when Shawn Michaels showed up on Raw to let him know that he’s in for one of hell of a fight at the Survivor Series.

Before his match with Kofi Kingston, Mr. Hollywood showed off three of the men for the Survivor Series where they will take on a team put together by The Heartbreak Kid, and they got a wake up call when Michaels hit the ring as Team Miz looked to do a number on Kofi. The Showstopper saw them off and then had some helpful words for the Jamaican Sensation who’s going through what can only be described as a losing streak right now. Michaels though has confidence in him and even offered him the chance to join his team at the Survivor Series.

What will Kofi’s response be and will we get one from The Miz on Smackdown this week?

>Mystery Woman Makes Her Mark!<

In a night of surprises, no one was left more surprised than the WWE divas when a mystery woman brutally attacked Kelly Kelly after her match with Mia Rain.

This larger than life woman threw Kelly around like a rag doll, scaring the hell out of both Rain and the watching Women’s Champion, Melina. Even Melina thought twice about trying to help Kelly and looked like she chose the right option by staying out of harms way.

Whoever she is this monster sure as hell made the divas stand up and take notice last night, but is it the last we’ve seen of her?
