Monday Night Raw Preview- 23/5/05- Worcester

The build up to Vengeance will roll on tonight from Worcester, Massachusettes and the main event has been signed, sealed and this Monday will be delivered.

Last week saw a controversial main event end with Muhammad Hassan retaining his title against Y2J Chris Jericho following the interference of all three Arabian Entity members, Daivari, Sonjay Dutt and The Great Khali as well as Y2Js bitter rival Edge and the number one contender to the World Heavyweight title, Triple H. The numbers game proved too much despite the best efforts of The Worlds Greatest Tag team, Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas and the World Champion himself, Batista.

However the aftermath of the match saw a collision course. Batista cleaned house, taking out Hassan, taking out Edge, taking out his arch enemy and opponent at Vengeance Triple H before disposing of the seven foot three behemoth The Great Khali. The champion showed his dominance in a major way and this week he will be a part of a huge tag team match up as he teams with Chris Jericho to take on the Intercontinental champion Muhammad Hassan and The Great Khali. With Jericho eyeing up the World title on one hand, will Batista and the Ayatollah of Rock and Rolla be able to co exist? Will the fellow members of the Arabian Entity rear their heads again? And what role will Edge and Triple H play in their rivals match up tonight?

Also tonight we have learned that the Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels will call out the Raw GM Eric Bischoff. Last week Bischoff promised that he would put all HBKs worries to rest by bringing Kurt Angle to Monday nights. The Raw GM however failed to bring Angle across and with that, the possibility of Michaels getting his Wrestlemania rematch with the Wrestling Machine diminished. Michaels has been hell bent on getting his hands on Angle and has taken his anger out on the GM in recent weeks. Will HBK leave his mark on Eric Bischoff once again this Monday night or has the Showstopper got something else in mind?

Last week we also saw the return to Raw of Ric Flair who came to confront Captain Charimsa Christian. Flair had announced he was to retire at Backlash however Christian demanded that Flair reverse his decision and face him in order to pass the torch. At Backlash Christian beat Flair to a pulp and this past Monday night the story was the same. Christian goaded Flair into accepting a match for Vengeance and when the deal was sealed, the Peepshow host cheap shotted Flair before laying another beat down on the Nature Boy. With the match now set in stone, will Christian have anything else brutal lined up for Flair this Monday night?

Find out all the answers to these questions and more live this Monday night!

Confirmed for Raw:

Batista and Chris Jericho vs. Muhammad Hassan and The Great Khali
